The purpose of the present study Is to suggest strategies for Improving cultural services provided by public libraries. First of all. it reviews missions of public Itbraries as well as meanings of these services for both the libraries and the communities they serve. It also reviews the current status of cultural services with the example of Kyonggi-Do. finally, five strategies for Improving cultural services are presented' differentiating library services from those provided by other types of cultural institutions such as museums and performing centers, as well as specifying the services In response to characteristics of the community they belong; utilizing community analysis and National Cultural Enjoyment Survey data; establishing national and regional support system; creating and Implementing library staff development programs in regards of cultural services; and finally, adopting marketing techniques in designing library cultural services.

In this study, has designed the ship application system for efficient data integration management of onboard ship and shore application/service utilizing data collected onboard ship, and has implemented the module. In order to supports onboard ship and shore service utilizing onboard ship collected data and provide a easy to access among individual devices, the ship application system applied the XML structure of ISO 16425 and the data sharing system model discussed in IALA, and the common module for system operation, a windows service for data collection/integral management, and web service module for management has been implemented.

According to the development of home-network, home-network middleware supporting interoperability between devices connecting to home-network has been variously Proposed. As a typical middleware, UPnP and Jini are developed individually. So, to extend the usage of home-network, it is necessary to have connections among various home-network middleware. In this paper, we study about home-network middleware UPnP and Jini, and design and implement UPnP-to-Jini service which allows Jini client to use UPnP device using the speciality of UPnP performance process. Using application of light on-off we implemented the connection of them.

대표적인 소량다품종인쇄물인 웨딩인쇄물 시장에 변화의 바람이 불고 있다. 대부분의 고객이 $3{\sim}500$장 내외로 인쇄하는 경우가 많은 청첩장인쇄는 예전부터 기성카드에 마스터인쇄를 해서 제작하는 경우가 일반적이었다. 물량이 상대적으로 소량이어서 오프셋인쇄로 작업할 수 없었기 때문에 마스터인쇄사의 대표적인 일감의 하나로 불렸다. 그러나 최근 들어서 개성을 중시하는 결혼식과 청첩장을 차별화하고 싶다는 경향이 소비자를 중심으로 활발하게 일어나는가 하면 디지털인쇄기의 본격적인 보급으로 소량다품종 인쇄를 지원하기 시작했으며 다양한 후가공 작업을 쉽게 진행할 수 있게 되어 맞춤형 및 고급형 청첩장 인쇄시장이 지속적인 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 물론 아직까지 기성카드사의 제품을 사용하는 청첩장 인쇄가 제일 많다. 그렇지만 예전과 달리 청첩장의 종류가 수백, 수천가지에 달하기 때문에 개성을 최대한으로 살리는 선택을 하는 것이 가능하기 때문에 어떤 면에서는 맞춤형 청첩장인쇄와 다름없다는 주장과 평가도 나오고 있다. 현재 청첩장을 비롯한 결혼과 관련된 인쇄물은 대체적으로 카드업체를 중심으로 하는 기성품시장, 개별 단가는 매우 높지만 아직까지 시장의 수요는 일부 계층에 국한되어 있는 고급형 맞춤 청첩장을 비롯, 디지털인쇄기를 이용해 포토청첩장 등 특별한 디자인의 청첩장을 수주하는 인쇄업체 등으로 크게 분류되어 있다. 한편 지난 2007년을 기준으로 $3{\sim}500$억원 대에 달하는 웨딩인쇄물 시장은 결코 큰 시장이라고 할 수는 없으나 꾸준한 성장세를 보인다. 청첩장이 어떤 의미에서 볼 때 작은 소품의 기능을 갖는다는 것을 보면 상당히 큰 시장이라고도 볼 수 있을 것이다. 최근 진행되고 있는 웨딩 인쇄물 시장의 변화와 현황을 살펴본다.

As Ubiquitous era comes, the importance of service-oriented adaptive software increases. However, there are many issues in development phases of service-oriented adaptive software, like contexts and service search. Though there are many researches which manage these issues separately, still we need more integrated and mature framework for solving these issues. So in this paper, we propose an integrated framework for development of service-oriented adaptive software. Our framework defines processes and work products for development. We also perform a case study which our framework is applied to.

This study aims to suggest a classification system for integrated management and shared use of disaster and safety information, which is currently produced and managed separately in disaster-related organizations. The study conducted a survey with organizations in charge of disaster management to analyze existing disaster-related classification systems and developed the first draft of the classification system. Later, in-depth interviews were conducted with disaster experts and a review was made by library and information science professors for the final touch. As a facet classification system consisting of 7 facets, it will be effective in supporting disaster management tasks as well as representing the complex nature of disaster and safety information.

Ubiquitous Computing System란, 언제 어디서나 통신 및 컴퓨팅이 가능하고 컴퓨팅 시스템이 상호간에 정보를 공유하고 협력하는 컴퓨팅 시스템이다. 이로써 기존의 컴퓨팅 환경과 같이 사용자와 컴퓨터간의 대화형 상호작용이 아닌 물리적인 환경 상황(Context)등을 시스템이 스스로 인식하고 이를 기반으로 사용자와의 상호 작용을 지원하는 상황인식 기술이 필수적인 요소로 부각되고 있다. Ubiquitous Computing System을 위해 사용자 및 주변 환경의 정보를 감지하는 센서(Sensor) 기술이 필요하다. 하지만 사용자 및 주변 환경으로부터 입력되는 불확실하거나 모호한 상황정보에 대한 표현과 추론에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문은 Rule based System을 활용하여 CRS(Context Recognition Switch)라는 새로운 개념을 도입한 Context Aware Architecture를 제시한다. CRS는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시스템을 위해서는 센서로부터 복합적으로 인지된 사용자 정보 및 주변환경의 정보를 사용자로부터 수동적으로 설정되거나 System의 지속적으로 수집된 정보의 통계 값인 Reference Value와 비교하여, 각 상황에 따른 개별적이고 특화된 서비스를 실행을 하도록 제공한다. 이로써 같은 정보의 입력이 들어와도 그 주변 환경의 상황에 따라 사용자의 필요에 최적화된 실행을 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, Ubiquitous Computing System의 향후 발전 가능성을 예상해고, 본 논문에서 제시한 Context Aware Architecture의 유용성을 짐작해 본다.

Some strategies for the integrated water management system based on GIS was suggested for the comprehensive and systematic management on the watershed. Contents of database and thematic layers for the related elements with GIS was indicated to estimate the quantity of total pollution loads and to simulate the water quality. Also, functions for the information providing was suggested on the connection with spatial data and attribute data, the search for collected data, the analysis for time series, and the visual presentations. Finally, it was suggested to integrate the existing systems and database structures, and to construct of data warehouse.

With progress of informationalization, education has been transformed from traditional uni-direction education to bi-directional and consumer-oriented education, which is performed by learner's self study and interactive education of multiple dimension between a learner and contents, between a learner and a teacher, and between a learner and a learner irrespective of space-time. According to this trend, a new education method has been required. Therefore, in this paper, we will propose real-time consumer-oriented distance education system of making interaction maximum using WBI. In this system, a learner can participate in an individual study case by multiple interaction with a learner's designing and plaining study, and also participate in group study case by way of discussion and conversation among participants.

Normally, formalization and standardization are followed while doing any system analysis and design. But, in actual system development, products can't be written using the automated tool for all products due to their own characteristics. That results the inconsistency among development products and various kinds of problem can occur in the products. In this paper, we present a technique that supports consistency among products of analysis and design phase developed according to object oriented method. And, this paper also presents the implementation tool.
