This article aims to analyze main features of activation policy and compare major programmes in terms of their impact on employment performances in Korea. Since the introduction of National Basic Living Security Act in 2000, a series of activation policies have been in place for social assistance recipients, low-income employees, and youth unemployed by means of providing tailored employment and social services via in-depth counselling and case management. These activation policies carry both enabling and demanding elements: requiring programme participation in exchange for public assistance benefit receipts on the one hand, and providing various social services to remove barriers to employment through case management on the other hand. Therefore, it merits attention to analyze how various features of activation programmes affect employment outcomes, the effectiveness of delivery system and policy instruments as well. In analyzing employment outcomes of activation policy of which main characteristics lie in provision of employment and social services, this article points out the features and policy instruments of the activation policy that contribute to labor market entry of public assistance recipients and low income employees. In addition, it also delineates the determinants of exit from benefit receipts. Results from statistical analysis show that activation policy with intense employment service helps both benefit recipients and low income employees enter into the labor market at a faster rate. However, tailored social service provision enables social assistance recipients to exit from benefit receipts. These results suggest theoretical and policy relevant implication in regards to redesigning the delivery mechanisms and service instruments of activation policy.

Recently, the development of weapons systems in conjunction with the Fourth Industrial Revolution has increased the number of weapon systems that integrate individual commercial systems by actively incorporating the superior fields of private commercial technologies. In the case of such commercial product-based weapons systems, however, the development of ILS elements across all areas, such as technical manual, military field maintenance support equipment, interactive electronic technical manual (IETM), and Computer Based Training (CBT) development, and weapons system Reliability, Availability, Maintainability(RAM) target values, and logistics support analysis (LSA) was requested to expand the level of development by developers. The commercial product-based System Integration (SI) weapon system will be able to complete the comprehensive military balance for complementing and effective maintenance of the military and developers only when the ILS development, which is limited to the essential elements of the required group, Request For Proposal (RFP) and Post-Logistics Support (PLS) directions were applied in the framework of outsourcing maintenance implementation. As a result, by checking the operation status of current weapons systems, the logistics support of commercial product-based weapon systems selected outsourcing as the basic policy that is decided based on the development requirements, focusing on maintaining operation through a rational decision-making process, and presented a plan for applying the development plan to the RFP for the determined core elements and PLS.

Due to high cost of domestic production structure, steep growth of China's manufacturing business, and increase in oversea's production, building integrated system to support user-centered product design system based on cognitive and affective information is required to restore development of domestic manufacturing business. This paper put purpose on analysing requirements of end users, especially on information equipment business which works as a major industry in manufacturing businesses, and planning system design direction, prior to constructing user-centered product design support system based on cognitive and affective information. Research was conducted to identify current manufacturing process, application data on manufacturing, availability of cognitive and affective information data and its method of use, and necessity of user-centered product design support system based on cognitive and affective information, by carrying out in-depth interview with 6 related manufacturing companies. Need for user's character information was deducted from the interview, especially cognitive and affective information which is demanding for small to medium manufacturing business to research on its own.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of secondary school career education in a lifelong learning society. In that direction, first, it is necessary to strengthen teacher capacity and develop professionalism. Second, career education programs need to be improved and diversified. Third, it is necessary to strengthen collaboration and communication with career education experts as a way to strengthen cooperation and connection outside the school. Fourth, it is necessary to support online career education through improvement of career information network. Fifth, there are policy support and institutional improvement plans. Sixth, it is necessary to expand the subject of career education to the entire life. To this end, career education in secondary school is designed to flexibly cope with changes, overcome crises and turn them into opportunities, and provide experiences to solve problems. Comprehensive support for individually customized career education from a lifelong perspective that manages the degree is needed. Second, it is necessary to expand field-oriented career and job experience to provide sufficient job-related experience and support mentoring by field experts. Third, it is necessary to establish a career education network where schools, education offices, and local communities work together. Fourth, retraining of career counseling teachers is also necessary to support the strengthening of career education capacity of all teachers.
To obtain the basic data for the conservation and cultivation of major native herb species under the trees, distribution of native herb species, and corrrlations between native herb species and site factors were studied on natural broadleaved forest in Mt. Gariwang and Mt. Jungwang, Pyeunchang-gun. 136 native herb species were distributed in studied area, and the importance percentage of Pseudostellaria heterophylla was proved the highest, 10.8%. The other major herb species were the following oders, Meehania urticifolia, Corydalis remota, Pimpinella brachycarpa, Carex siderosticta, Pseudostellaria palibiniana, Erythronium japonicum, Ligularia fischeri, Asarum heterotropoides var. mandshuricum, Hylomecon vernalis and Astilbe rubra var. rubra. Highly positive correlations were proved Hepatica asiatica and Ainsliaea acerifolia, Pimpinella brachycarpa and Aconitum jaluense subsp. jaluense, Aconitum jaluense subsp. jaluense and Smilacina japonica var. japonica, Meehania urticifolia and Pseudostellaria palibiniana. Seven groups of native herb species were divided by cluster analysis. Preferring site factors for each native herb species were determined. Ligularia fischeri, Ainsliaea acerifolia, Parasenecio auriculata var. matsumurana, Erythronium japonicum and Pimpinella brachycarpa were distributed mainly on the higher sites, Ligularia fischeri were ditributed more frequently in deep soil sites. These results might be useful measures in the conservation and cultivation of native edible and medicinal herb species on the forest floor in the natual broadleaved forest, Pyeungchang-gun.

To understand the synergy of collaboration and to apply this understanding to education, an analysis of how a team solves a problem and the sharing of their mental models is needed. This paper analyzed two things qualitatively to find out the source of synergy in a collaborative problem-solving process. First, the sharing contents in team mental model and second, the process of sharing the team mental model. Ten gifted middle school students collaborated to solve an ill-defined problem called sunshine through foliage problem. The gifted students shared the following results after the collaboration: First, scientific concept prior to common idea or the idea that all group members have before the discussions; second, unique individual ideas of group members; and third, created ideas that were not originally in the personal mental model. With created ideas, the team model becomes more than the sum of individuals. According to the results of process analysis, in the process of sharing mental model, the students proposed and shared the most important variable first. This result implied that the analysis of the order of sharing ideas is important as much as finding shared ideas. Also, the result shows that through their collaboration, the gifted students' shared mental model became more refined and expanded as compared to their individual prior mental models. It is recommended that these results can be used to measure shared mental model and develop collaborative learning models for students.

The aim of this paper is to explore the role played by the endogenous farming organization sustaining rural community's competitiveness. Nulmi-Ri, Chungdo Kun in Kyongsangbuk-do chosen as a case study area is known to be one of the most competitive rural communities, making a living with a peach farming. This community maintains its competi- tiveness by operating a community-based filming organization which was organised in an endogenous way. Most of individual farmers in this community belong to the farming organization and they have cooperative relationships in the processes of production and distribution. In this respect, the exchange and circulation of knowledge, and collective learning, tend to be significantly taken place between the organization members. Based on the experience of the Nulmi-Ri's endogenous farming organization, we propose some constructive comments for rural community development.
This paper attempts to analyse the patriarchal characteristics of welfare states. Increasingly, debates on welfare states are explicitly focusing on the relationships between state, market and family. How these relationships are structured forms the core parts of the particular welfare states, that is they give shape to different welfare state regimes. Although welfare states have developed incresingly, there are some problems that sustain these states asymmetrical, unequal, even sexist. In this paper, I want to make these problems visible by the terms of gender division of labour, the model of male work and the changing characteristics of patriarchy. Firstly, from the feminist perspective, we can point the fact that the welfare states are structured by gender. Welfare states take it for granted that our socities are based on the assumption of gender division of labour, what is called male breadwinner/ female dependent. And the state takes this gendered family as the stereotype in our societies. Secondly, it is not sufficient condition for men and women to perform satisfactory life of work and family that welfare states provide childcare center on an extensive scale. This is because that our societies are runned by "the model of male work". Thirdly, we can find that the characteristics of patriarchy of welfare state are changing. These changes can be explained from the 'private patriarchy' to the 'public patriarchy', in other words, from the women's dependence to individual man to the dependence to the state/ public sectors. And also under these changes, we can find the potent possibilities for women to take economic activities and independent self-supports.
To date, the study of students with multicultural disabilities has been limited to language problems. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of communication between parents and professionals on the IEP and teaching strategies of students in multicultural special education in the United States. From 2015 to 2016, structural equation modeling was conducted using AMOS 21 based on data from 406 elementary, middle, and high school teachers who has experiencing of multicultural disabilities. The correlation coefficients between IEP and the variables affecting instructional strategies were significantly high between -044 and .489 as a whole. Especially, teaching strategy and communication with parents were relatively more effective than professional communication high correlation. In addition, with regard to the impact on IEP and teaching strategies, parental communication has been found to be closely related to IEP and teaching strategies. However, communication with professionals has a direct effect on teaching strategies. There was no significant correlation between parent and professional communication. The purpose of this study is to understand the importance of communication with parents of multicultural disabled students and their interest and opinions on children positively to IEP and teaching strategies so that teachers can communicate continuously.
The purpose of this study was to find out various problem behaviors of children who were not diagnosed with any disability, but instead, engaged in problem behaviors. This study also intended to review the difficulties of children with problem behaviors, their teachers' difficulties and needs, to suggest support for child care and education teachers. This study conducted semi-structured qualitative interviews with eight child care and education teachers. The interviews were transcribed into text and analyzed by contents. The results of this study are as follows. Problem behaviors of children described by teachers were classified into external and internal types. In addition, children with problem behaviors had experienced difficulties in maintaining relationships with their teachers, peers and parents. Many teachers were not successful to provide appropriate support for preschoolers who demonstrated problem behaviors in classrooms or some teachers provided individualized support. Teachers adapted the behavioral and the psychological approaches to problem behaviors of preschoolers. However, teachers reported difficulties with children with problem behavior and brought up the following issues on teaching children with problem behaviors; managing troubled matters happening in the class, difficulty in controlling teacher's emotions on problem behaviors, the lack of time, the integrated child care time without teacher in charge of child, the interruption in activity progress, the lack of a special way to deal with problem behaviors, and difficulty in cooperation with families through parents-teacher counseling sessions. Teachers counseled with parents who had a child with problem behaviors and revealed that parents reacted to problem behaviors in various ways such as embarrassment, acceptance, ignorance, or avoidance. Most teachers received assistance and support for teaching children with problem behaviors, from families, local communities and in-service training. Lastly, teachers with preschoolers with problem behaviors needed the support of experts on managing behavior problems, assistant teaching personnel, education for parents and teachers, respects for teachers, psychological counseling or play therapy from professional service agencies, diagnosis service at child care and education centers which children attended, and support networking with agencies. Teachers also required the family support of medical diagnosis and psychological counseling and financial support from the government.
