Effect of Open Floor Plan Design Property on Apartment Price (단위세대의 개방형 평면구성이 아파트가격에 미치는 영향)

  • The openness of residential space directly affecting lighting, view, and ventilation leads to the variation of open floor plan type in apartment construction project. This study intends to substantiate the effect to the apartment price by design property of open floor plan based on actual design information of apartment and price. The open floor plan type and associated design property, and actual transaction price of apartment have been considered as variables for analysis by the hedonic price function model and artificial neural networks model. Research findings indicate that the openness affects the price of apartment positively and the three sides open plan is the most preferred with the highest price. This study aims to provide the implication to the developer in planning and design stage of apartment and the purchaser seeking the suitable price by floor plan design.

Interface Server Model for the Effective Data Link between Public Data Portal and Open Platform (공공데이터와 오픈플랫폼의 효율적 자료연계를 위한 연계서버 모형)

  • According to the public open data policy, the government established the demanders-oriented and customized open data plan and allowed people to use plenty of public data free. There are, however, few geospatial information systems to maximize its usability. For the purpose to make the effective geospatial information services, this study examined how data was linked between the public data portal and open platform first. And then this proposed the interface server model to support the data link between these systems technically.

A Study on the Planning Characteristics of Contemporary Japanese Middle School Architecture (현대 일본 중학교 건축의 계획특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study reviewed the planning characteristics of contemporary Japanese middle school architecture on which related studies are insufficient, aiming to obtain new ideas for planning Korean middle school facilities. Fourteen case schools built after 1990s were selected and analyzed. They were divided into learning-living space and other major spaces. The planning characteristics of the case schools are summarized as follows 1) The case schools were classified into two categories, departmentalized classroom type (D type) and usual with variation type (UV type) by school system. These categories can also be the classification standard for basic architectural characteristics in learning and living space of case schools. 2) D type case schools have departmentalized classrooms, home base, media space and teacher's space for learning-living space. D type case schools are divided into 'attached-to-classroom type' and 'separate type' depending on the adjacency of the home base and departmentalized classroom. 3) UV type case schools have multipurpose space around the classroom for learning-living space and can be divided into two types, i.e., 'directly adjacent' and 'separate', depending on the connectivity to classroom of multipurpose room. 4) Specialized classrooms are designed to have the openness to the public and the own characteristics of school subjects strengthened and show the spatial differentiation with connected ancillary spaces. 5) Libraries are designed as complex zones grouped with computer labs, audio visual rooms and multipurpose halls not as a single room and as open plan not with a closed wall. 6) The gymnasium is the basic sports facility with a martial arts room and outdoor pool, which are for after-school activities as well as physical education class. 7) The terrace, balcony and outdoor stairs are frequently used architectural vocabularies as diverse outdoor spaces with a variety of functions.

Types of Smart Bus Stop and Their Impacts on Reducing Fine Dust Concentrations in Seoul (스마트버스정류장 유형에 따른 미세먼지 농도 저감효과)

  • This research aims to provide guidelines with the appropriate type of smart bus stop to reduce the concentration of fine dust. To this end, we divided smart bus stops into two types: closed and open bus stops. The estimated reduction effect was compared and analysed by measuring the estimated PM10 and the estimated PM2.5 at five locations inside and outside a smart bus stop located in Gangnam gu, Seoul. The effect of reducing the amount of the fine dust concentration in external space was insignificant for both types of bus stops. The different effect of reducing the concentration of the amount between in internal space was relatively significant: the fine dust concentration was 26.0 ㎍/m3 for PM10 and 20.2 ㎍/m3 for PM2.5 at open-type bus stops; whilst was 2.4 ㎍/m3 for PM10 and 1.8 ㎍/m3 for PM2.5 at closed type bus stops. Based on the findings, a closed type bus stop is recommended when considering the cost of reducing fine dust. In addition, due to the ineffectiveness of reducing the amount of fine dust from the outside of the bus stop, additional provision of smart bus stops is required particularly in locations where demand exceeds the capacity of the inside. A clear definition of smart bus stop and it's minimum standard should also be considered.

  • Social needs of smart work have been increasing throughout the worldwide and several developed countries have been developing enabled framework for smart work's coming proceed for a long time. The government is leading the smart work in Korea to devise a more efficient and competitiveness. Design of public collaboration solution has been proposed to provide the integration among a variety of smart environments and the interoperability between end-to-end. This paper takes a objective to develop a universal solution applicable to between traditional PC and mobile devices, such as a home station, and to built smart workplace linking workplace, outside space and the home. In particular, this paper offer entry-level advantages of public collaboration solution in conjunction with collaboration platform and phone platform owned by mobile communication platform company are mutually interfaced and aimed at small and medium-sized businesses and public.

  • This study is conducted to understand the different characteristic of the inner and outer spacing of Sarangche Numaru according to their geographical location conditions during its construction in 15-16th century. The results showed; first, for hill-type, the side of the Numaru that is in contact with the Sarang Madang makes a short side of Sarangche Numaru regardless of the Orientation and for flatland-type, the side of the Numaru in contact with the Sarang Madang makes a long side of Sarangche Numaru. Secondly, for hill-type, Sarang Madang is not focused as the main view, instead it supports the view of the mountains that are around however, for flatland-type, Sarang Madang is focused as the main view therefore, an inner garden is formed inside Sarang Madang. Lastly, for hill-type, Cho Shan is used as an appropriative landscape while for flatland-type, Sarang Madang is used as the main view and an inner garden is formed because of the diversification of Sarang Madang's function.

  • 광명시 경륜 경기장은 국민 체육진흥공단에서 턴키(Turn key)공사로 발주하였고, CS구조+공간건축+대우건설, 삼성건설, 태영건설의 제출안이 당선되어 현재 시공중에 있다. 경기장의 저층부는 PC로 설계되었고, 지붕은 철골 트러스를 사용한 Dome 형상으로 이루어져 있다. 돔 지붕의 개념은 지붕에 물을 부었을 때 가장 흘러가기 쉬운 방향으로 트러스를 배치하여 유연한 힘의 흐름을 유도하는 것이다. 143.6m(폭)${\times}$183.5m(길이)${\times}$21m(높이)의 지붕엔 지붕의 개념인 Flow Truss를 물이 흐르는 방향의 방사형으로 배치하고, 내부에 압축링(Compression Ring Truss)과 외부에 인장링(Tension Ring Truss)를 설치하여 힘의 흐름을 단순화시켰고, 실내에서 보기에 플로우 트러스의 간격을 넓게 유지함으로써 개방감을 극대화시켰다. 또한 Flow Truss는 동일한 곡률과 길이로 설계하여 표준화시킴으로써 시공성과 경제성을 동시에 만족토록 하였다. 현재 저층부 시공은 거의 완료된 상황이고, 곧 지붕을 설치할 예정이다. 본 고에서는 돔 지붕의 형성 개념과 설계 과정을 살펴보고, 접합상세 등의 해결에 대해 살펴보겠다.

A Study on the Deformable Art Pavilion Spatial Expression Characteristics (가변형 아트 파빌리온 공간 표현특성에 관한연구)

  • The space before modern times is fixed and closed, then that after modern times is flexible and open. Based on the concept of space, the modern art exhibition hall gradually shifts from the interior space of a building to the outdoor space, giving birth to the concept of outdoor art pavilion. Based on this background, we analyzed and learned about the latest deformable art pavilions, focused on the investigation of its space performance characteristics and the case analysis, fully understood the design principles of deformable pavilions, and proposed the basic design directions and strategies for future research. Firstly, through learning the theories of transformable space, the characteristics and concept range of deformable space are understood. Secondly, based on the preliminary research and analysis of art pavilions, the performance characteristics are summarized. Thirdly, the pattern of deformable space and the method of reflecting the characteristics of deformable space are investigated based on cases. After summarizing the case analysis, we identified the differences of different art pavilions between deformable modes and space characteristics, and analyzed the causes. This work provides a basis for distinguishing the transformation patterns of the deformable space, and reveals the changes in space concepts and the expansion of space meaning in future architectural space design.

A Basic Study of iBUM Development based on BIM/GIS Standard Information for Construction of Spatial Database (공간자료 구축을 위한 BIM/GIS 표준정보 기반 건축도시통합모델(iBUM)의 개발에 관한 기초연구)

  • Recently, BIM(Building Information Modeling) has been applied to the infrastructure such as road and bridge, and information about the outside environment of buildings is needed for maintaining and managing the large urban facilities. In addition, the convergence between spatial information and Big-data has a large potentiality, in respect that considerable profits and developments in other application problems such as various simulations and urban plans, national land security, may be brought about on the basis of the interoperability of information between BIM and GIS. Therefore, this study attempted to suggest the development direction of a model integrating building for spatial information analysis and city on the subject by comparing and analyzing difference between information system and shape expression of IFC, CityGML and LandXML to efficiently link information between IFC as a standard model of BIM and CityGML as a standard model in the GIS sector and to prepare a basic fusion strategy and a method of utilization between BIM and GIS. The result of the study are as follow. Firstly, contents and structure of IFC, CityGML and LandXML are compared and analyzed. Secondly, the development direction of iBUM(Integrated Building and Urban Model) suggested, which is based on convergence technology for analysis of space information. Finally, a strategy and method of the BIM and GIS are proposed in the iBUM environment.

A Study on Characteristics of Exterior Design in Passenger Ships (여객선 외관 디자인의 특징에 관한 연구)

  • The expected demands for the new styling design can be studied by examining the recent deliveries and the new buildings on order. These ships are setting the trend for the operation of passenger ships. There has been a rapid increase in size and produce of ship some remarkable exterior design image. These ships follow very similar design concept, even if their operator compete with each other in the same market. But also new innovative design solution have been introduced to catch the interest of the passengers. The propose of this study is to investigate the exterior styling design in passenger ships, which result form examining the exterior elements such as funnels, pods, hulls, trademark, colours, flowing curvilinear lines and from. Each different passenger ship lines require different design style for different markets, while ships of different sizes and categories obviously require different solution. When a new class is created later, key design element will be retained, with some items being changed and new ideas introduced.
