Effect of Open Floor Plan Design Property on Apartment Price (단위세대의 개방형 평면구성이 아파트가격에 미치는 영향)

  • The openness of residential space directly affecting lighting, view, and ventilation leads to the variation of open floor plan type in apartment construction project. This study intends to substantiate the effect to the apartment price by design property of open floor plan based on actual design information of apartment and price. The open floor plan type and associated design property, and actual transaction price of apartment have been considered as variables for analysis by the hedonic price function model and artificial neural networks model. Research findings indicate that the openness affects the price of apartment positively and the three sides open plan is the most preferred with the highest price. This study aims to provide the implication to the developer in planning and design stage of apartment and the purchaser seeking the suitable price by floor plan design.

A Study on Types and Current Status of School Library in Japan (일본 학교도서관의 지역개방현황과 배치유형에 관한 연구)

  • This is a study on types and current status of school library in japan that are open to public. it aims to increase library access and further improvement of accessible information environment by opening the libraries within schools. In case of Japan, libraries' importance to school education enacted world's first School library act by 1953 and installation rate of school libraries is achieved up to 100%. These libraries opened to its local community is in the process of increasing library usage and now in total of 11.6% of lower, middle, and upper school are already opened to their local community. Considering decreasing usage of facilities in schools, teacher vacant time, expanding libraries, and other various alternatives should be considered together. It will lead to equal access to information environment and lifelong education. The study suggests ways of installing school libraries in appropriate sizes and forms within their local societies. It also propose possible ways to open school libraries to perform their own functions.

The Effect of Peer Review to the Improvement of Gifted Elementary Science Students' Open Inquiry (동료평가가 초등과학영재의 개방적 탐구 개선에 끼치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out gifted elementary science students' improvement in performing open inquiry after peer review. In this study, gifted fifth-grade students performed open inquiry and review of each other as peers after the inquiry. Students' inquiries were evaluated and the influences of the feedback from the peer reviews were analyzed in relation to the inquiry performances. As a result of this study, three key points were discovered: First, the evaluation score increased with frequent feedback or long discussions. On the other hand, with less feedback, the evaluation score didn't rise. Second, there were three types of improvement in inquiry related to peer review: No. 1 was improvement after feedback given by themselves. No. 2 was reflection of feedback given to other groups. As a last type, No. 3 was that the students learned from other groups' presentation without any feedback and improved their inquiry. Third, there were five kinds of giving feedback; (1) feedback understanding the inquiry correctly, (2) insufficiency of peer's inquiry without deep thought. (3) on the usefulness of the inquiry, (4) on the scientific and logic validity through critical thinking, and (5) how to develop the inquiry. In these kinds of feedback, the fourth kind of feedback (4) occurred most frequently but the fifth (5) occurred rarely. It means peer review helps students develop their critical thinking ability and teachers should encourage students to give peers feedback of the fifth kind.

Case Studies Regarding the Classification of Public Caves (공개동굴의 유형분류에 관한 사례연구)

  • This study, which includes case studies that provide information of cave tour resources, considered a variety of selected variables of the internal and external parts of caves with the expanded factors of the academic classification in caves. It uses the cluster analysis, one of the multivariate analysis techniques, and applied the results for review. As a result, public caves can present multiple classification criteria according to the factors of the surrounding area's human environment. The result, classified by the region in public caves, is derived from this study.

Analysis of Vegetation Structure with The Types of Abandoned Channels in The Mangyeong River (만경강 폐천 유형별 식생구조 분석)

  • 본 연구는 현재와 과거의 하도 지형자료 분석을 통하여 만경강에서 나타나는 폐천(Abandoned channel)을 파악하고, 유형을 폐쇄형, 개방형, 육화형 폐천으로 구분하여 각각의 본류구간과 함께 식물상 및 식생분포 특성을 비교하였다. 만경강의 경우 1918년 하도 형태가 경지정리 및 치수사업에 따른 제방축조 등 인위적인 절단(Engineered cutoff)으로 8개소 이상의 구간에서 하도 선형이 크게 변경됨으로써 폐천이 형성되는 것으로 나타났다. 현재 폐천부지는 육화형태의 농지 이용 및 개방형 또는 폐쇄형의 습지로 유지되는 것으로 조사되었다. 폐천 유형에 따라 나타난 식물상은 폐쇄형 56종류, 개방형 31종류로 조사되었다. 육화형의 본류의 경우 보에 의한 영향으로 달뿌리풀 (Phragmites japonica)과 저수로 검정말(Hydrilla verticillata) 등의 수생식물이 우점하는 정체수역이 나타났다. 개방형 폐천은 갈수기에도 수심이 깊은 수역이 확보되어 본류에 비하여 출현종수가 높았다. 폐쇄형 폐천은 연꽃(Nelumbo nucifera), 애기부들(Typha angustifolia) 등의 다양한 수생식물이 출현하여 본류에 비해 안정된 습지 생태계를 유지하였다. 만경강의 개방형과 폐쇄형 폐천은 수생식물의 증가와 전형적인 습지생태계를 유지하고 있었으며 본류의 정체수역이 관찰되었다. 본래 하천의 연속성을 향상하기 위한 유수생태계의 복원은 하천의 건강성을 향상하기 위한 방안이 될 것이다.

Development of Open Roadmap for Open Innovation: A Case of P&G (개방형 혁신을 위한 개방형 로드맵의 개발 : P&G 사례연구)

  • Under the open innovation paradigm, it is needed to establish an appropriate strategic planning tool which can take both internal and external resources and capabilities into account. In response, this paper suggests the open roadmap to systematically and usefully implement open innovation. The open roadmap deals with both inbound and outbound open innovation activities. Moreover, in the inbound and outbound open innovation, six types of the open roadmap are proposed in terms of sources of innovation. The proposed open roadmap is applied to a case of open innovation in the P&G corporation for examining its usefulness and validation. It is expected that the open roadmap provides fruitful information when open innovation is done.

A Comparison of Students' Reasoning Shown in Solving Open-Ended and Multiple-Choice Problems (개방형 문제와 선택형 문제 해결에 나타난 학생의 추론 비교)

  • This study conducted an analysis of types of reasoning shown in students' solving a problem and processes of students' reasoning according to type of problem by posing an open-ended problem where students' reasoning activity is expected to be vigorous and a multiple-choice problem with which students are familiar. And it examined teacher's role of promoting the reasoning in solving an open-ended problem. Students showed more various types of reasoning in solving an open-ended problem compared with multiple-choice problem, and showed a process of extending the reasoning as chains of reasoning are performed. Abduction, a type of students' probable reasoning, was active in the open-ended problem, accordingly teacher played a role of encouragement, prompt and guidance. Teachers posed a problem after varying it from previous problem type to open-ended problem in teaching and evaluation, and played a role of helping students' reasoning become more vigorous by proper questioning when students had difficulty reasoning.

The effect of Forms of Openness and the Appropriation Mechanisms on Product Innovation (개방성의 형태와 전유성 메커니즘이 제품혁신에 미치는 영향)

  • Recent studies focus on how open innovation strategies affect innovation in enterprises, but lack research related to the forms of openness. There is also a paradox that an entity should open up for open innovation but also protect its innovation. In this regard, the need for research on innovation protection has expanded. Therefore, this study looked at the effect of the form of openness on product innovation, and explored how the relationship between the form of openness and product innovation depends on the appropriation mechanisms. This study used data from the Korean Innovation Survey(KIS), which was developed and distributed by the OECD. The main findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, the forms of openness has a positive effect on product innovation. Specifically, external search has had a positive impact on exploitative innovation, and collaboration has shown to have a positive impact on exploratory innovation. Second, the appropriation mechanisms has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between the forms of openness and product innovation. Specifically, it was shown that formal appropriation mechanisms had a positive effect on the relationship between external search and product innovation, and that informal appropriation mechanisms had a positive effect on the relationship between collaboration and exploratory innovation. This study is expected to contribute to: First, this study has divided the forms of openness into external search and collaboration, unlike the existing method, and thus identified the type of product innovation and the appropriation mechanisms and forms of openness by identifying the impact on product innovation. Second, depending on the characteristics of the appropriation mechanisms, it was identified that it had the moderating effect on the forms of openness and the relationship of product innovation, so that depending on the type of openness and the type of product innovation, the type of appropriation mechanisms more suitable was identified.

  • 본 연구에서는 대전에 위치한 갑천을 대상으로, 하도 내 생물서식처를 10개의 유형으로 분류하였고, 다음 단계로 2차원 수리모형인 RIVER2D를 이용하여 10개 유형의 생물서식처 중 '개방형하도 습지'를 대상으로 수생 물리 서식처의 잠재적 가치를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 2차원 수리모델인 RIVER2D는 특정 복원 목표 어류 종의 수생물리서식처 조건 평가에 적용하기에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 개방형 하도습지는 어류 서식처로서 평균이상의 잠재적 가치를 가지고 있었으며 이는 목표 종인 피라미를 통해 검증하였다. 또한 이 모델을 보다 유용하게 운용하기 위해서는 다양한 어류에 대한 풍부한 현장 데이터 자료의 수집 및 확립을 통해 각각의 HSI 수립이 필요하다. 또한 계절적 영향에 의한 수위변화, 지역적인 여건의 차이 등이 반드시 고려되어야 할 것이다.

  • Mathematical Communication ability can be more developed through sharing thoughts with others. Therefore when we instruct students in math, it is very important for teachers to provide them with opportunity to communicate mathematically. So this study provided open-ended problems in small-group collaborative learning. And we analyzed students' mathematical communication focused on the student's level of understanding. Furthermore, to improve students' mathematical communication ability, this study tries to attract the factors that we should consider the exact date for inserting the open-ended problems into a course of math and the student's level of understanding for selecting suitable open-ended problems.
