  • The Command and Control Framework was developed for penetration testing and education purposes, but threat actors such as cybercrime groups are abusing it. From a cyber threat hunting perspective, identifying Command and Control Framework servers as well as proactive responding such as blocking the server can contribute to risk management. Therefore, this paper proposes a methodology for tracking the Command and Control Framework in advance. The methodology consists of four steps: collecting a list of Command and Control Framework-related server, emulating staged delivery, extracting botnet configurations, and collecting certificates that feature is going to be extracted. Additionally, experiments are conducted by applying the proposed methodology to Cobalt Strike, a commercial Command and Control Framework. Collected beacons and certificate from the experiments are shared to establish a cyber threat response basis that could be caused from the Command and Control Framework.

  • As the existing edutainment contents for children are mostly comprised of educational tools which unilaterally induce educatees to passively respond to them, the content-creating methodologies in terms of which active and voluntary learning is made possible is urgently needed. In this paper, we present the implementation of the tangible 'electronic dice' interface as an interactive tool for behavior-based edutainment contents, and propose a methodology for developing edutainment contents for children by utilizing the recognition technique of hand movement based on depth-image information. Also proposed in the paper are an authoring and management tool of learning quizzes that allows educators to set up and manage their learning courseware, and a log analysis system of learning achievement for real-time monitoring of educational progress. The behavior-based tangible interface and edutainment contents that we propose provide the easy-to-operate interaction with a real object, which augments educatees' interest in learning, thus leading to their active and voluntary attitude toward learning. Furthermore, The authoring and management tool and log analysis system allow us to construct learning programs by children's achievement level and to monitor in real-time the learning development of children educatees by understanding the situation and behavior of their learning development from the analytic results obtained by observing the processes of educatees' solving problems for themselves, and utilizing them for evaluation materials for lesson plans.

  • Although Sequencing & Navigation(S&N) of ADL SCORM 2004 specifies relatively simple ones of possible sequencing behaviors based on IMS SS(Simple Sequencing) in learning context, it is practically not easy to implement the sequencing properly within SCORM content packages. Actually, many Korean content developers construct SCORM content packages by choosing one out of well-known LSAL sequencing templates and just inserting their contents into it. In this paper, we survey a number of widely used SCORM sequencing templates provided by LSAL, ADL and Xerceo, and also domestic conventional SCORM sequencing models, and then present a new SCORM sequencing models well conformant to Korean e-learning environments. We finally develop 3 types of SCORM sequencing templates and their contents samples by applying our sequencing models to a number of available domestic SCOs. We expect that our products can be widely used and referenced as a guidance by content developers troubled in implementing a variety of SCORM sequencings.

  • This study is based on a review of how and in which stages evidence can be used, in practice, in the policy process and proposes an information analysis framework capable of inducing continuous interaction among stakeholders and an operation procedure that allows experts to reconcile conflicts through the analyzed information. In particular, it focuses on the strategic planning process carried out in the policy formation stage of the R&D policy process, which promotes the creation of knowledge related to science and technology required to improve national competitiveness and solve social and environmental problems. Conflicts are negotiated and resolved by ensuring rationality in the policy process, following the operation procedure and inducing communication between the stakeholders participating in national R&D strategic planning related to the issue of population aging throughout utilizing the provided useful information. Our results showed that the proposed operating procedures and information analysis framework had a positive effect on the communication-oriented shift. Thus, in order to promote conflict management, an agreed operating procedures and information analysis framework should be established between stakeholders, thereby reducing a conflict of opinions in advance. This article realizes the true meaning of movement of evidence-based policies. In addition, the framework is helping support evidence-based R&D policies by strengthening rational behavior.

  • Many science education research and practices are recently emphasizing the importance of collaborative learning. This study also understands learning in aspects of socio-cultural context, and regarded the creation of meaning in a same-age group as an important learning process. This is most especially true in the premise that the formation of roles in a collaborative learning is important for successful interactive learning. This study aims to find out how roles form in a group. For this purpose, university students participating in a group discussion activity about energy flow and circulation of material were selected as research participants. Discussions among the nine students in one group consisted of cognitive conversations on the topic and operational conversations for preparing a presentation. Video-clips of the discussions were made and transcribed. For the analysis, we developed a framework that includes four interaction functions (cognitive, organizational, meta-cognitive, operational), four action elements (question, simple answer, providing opinion, response to opinion), and two to four intention elements by each action elements. As a result, a total of nine roles were revealed through the interaction function and element; cognitive questioner, operational questioner, simple answerer, operational suggester, organizational commander, operational commander, cognitive explainer, terminator, reflective thinker. These roles are re-classified into seven utterance patterns by the utterance order and object, and they were categorized into three role groups (facilitating interaction, sustaining interaction, finishing interaction). The result means that role formation and function can have influence on learning and interaction. This study is meaningful to the suggestion to collaborative learning including project-based learning, investigation, club activity, and for the re-illumination of the role in an aspect of the interaction.

  • As UCI (Universal Content Identifier) identification system becomes a national standard for content distribution, many digital contents are distributed through UCI identification system. However, problems associated with copyright infringement and copyright contracts occur due to lack of copyright information. ICN (Integrated Copyright Number), a code system developed for copyright management, includes copyright-related information for the purposes of usage settlement and accounting, illegal usage monitoring, and content filtering. ICN, however, has no information about distribution and content properties. Therefore, the linkage and integration between UCI and ICN can be a basis for the transparent and effective distribution of digital contents. In this paper, we propose a model for linking and integrating UCI and ICN, developing the efficiency in the value chain of each identified system by analyzing political factors and key technical elements between the two identification systems.

  • This study examined the correlation of educational experience with practical behavior in infection control. Subjects were 152 dental hygienists in Gwangju from September 15 to October 5, 2015. The ratio of dental hygienists educated on infection control was higher in those worked in dental care with 2~4 dentist for 2~5 years and lower in those worked in dental cared with 1 dentist for 2~5 years (p<0.05, p<0.001). The dental hygienists with or without educational experience in infection control exhibited the highest activity rate in hand wash and the lowest in face protection. Barrier in health belief, was lower with the need for education in infection control among the factors affecting on the activity in infection control. The activity was higher with susceptibility and cue to action (p<0.05). Based on the results, education program on infection control should be developed, and applied periodically and obligatorily for dentist and all staffs of dental care to remove susceptibility and barrier, and to enhance cue to action. This will result the effective control of infection by elevating the health belief.
