구성주의 학습방식을 활용한 통계 교수학습 모형 개발

  • 통계학의 여러 개념들을 효과적으로 가르치기 위한 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 적용되고 있다. 그러나 기초통계학 교육에서 교수자와 학습자 모두 교수와 학습의 어려움을 끊임없이 제기하고 있다. 또한 기존의 교수학습 방법들을 현실에 적용하기에는 시간과 교구재 등 여러 가지 어려움이 있어서 실제 적용되지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 연구들에서 주장하고 입증된 교수학습 방법들을 교실 현장에서 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 하는 통계 교수학습 모형을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 문제위주 학습과 협동학습 등을 통해 학습자의 참여를 높여 학습효과를 증대할 수 있는 구성 주의적 학습활동을 네트워크와 웹을 기반으로 수행하는 교수학습 모형을 제안한다

Cultural Propensity of Married Immigrant Women in a Korean Rural Area: Comparison of Individualism vs. Collectivism in Vertical and Horizontal Dimension (농촌 여성결혼이민자의 문화성향 특성 -수직 및 수평차원의 개인 vs. 집단주의 성향 중심-)

  • This study is aimed to compare individualism and collectivism propensity of married immigrant women in a Korean rural area. By result of comparison on nationality, the level of collectivism was higher than it of individualism in every country, but the level of collectivism among the countries was no significant difference. The level of individualism among the countries was difference significantly, and the level of individualism of Chinese is most high but it of Japanese is most low. By logistic regression analysis the probability to be involved in the group that level of individualism is high was heightened as respondent have no religion or their's satisfaction on rural life increase. The level of horizontal propensity was higher than it of vertical propensity both individualism and collectivism. But the result of comparison on nationality, difference between horizontal and vertical propensity was no significant. Besides of these results, practical implications were discussed.

  • G-러닝 게임은 게임의 집중력과 재미 요소를 기반으로 학습의 목적을 가진 콘텐츠로, 최근 아동 교육용 G-러닝 게임의 시장 규모가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 기존에 연구된 G-러닝 게임은 교육성과 게임성의 디자인 방향이 일치하지 않아 균형 있는 효과를 기대하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 초등학교 4학년을 대상의 분수 학습을 위한 G-러닝 게임의 게임디자인 방법을 논한다. 분수 개념은 4학년 교과 과정 중 학습 난이도가 높고 이해가 어려워 단순 교수법보다 구성주의 학습법이 적합하다. 게임과 교육의 융합을 위한 디자인의 일환으로 G-Math 게임을 개발하였다. G-Math 게임은 구성주의 학습방법을 기초하여 ETC(탐구, 협동, 대화, 이해)이론으로 디자인 하였다. 본 연구는 G러닝 게임의 교육성과 게임성을 융합함과 동시에 효과적인 학습 방법을 디자인함으로서 G-Math에 특화된 콘텐츠를 제공한다.

극동러시아 연해주의 공업현황과 주요작물의 생산성

  • 극동러시아 연해주는 동경 $130.63^{\circ}$ 에서 $139.00^{\circ}$ 까지 북위 $42.27^{\circ}$ 에서 $48.40^{\circ}$에 걸쳐 극동러시아의 남부에 위치하고 있으며 전체 면적은 $165.900km^{2}$로 한국의 약 1.6배 정도이고 동쪽은 동해, 서쪽은 중국, 남쪽은 북한, 북쪽은 하바로브스크주와 인접해 있다. 지형은 동북에서 서남방향의 고구마형으로 놓여 있고 극동러시아의 동북쪽에서 뻗어 내려온 시호태알린 산맥의 서쪽에는 주류인 아무르강과 우수리강으로 흘러 들어가는 크고 작은 강들이 있으며 중국과 경계를 이루는 서쪽에는 $4.190km^{2}$ 넓이의 항카호가 자리잡고 있다.농경지는 주로 항카호 동남쪽 주변과 강주변의 늪지, 평원 및 구릉지에 분포되어 연해주의 주요 농업지대를 이루고 있다. 우리나라 북방으로 인접되어 있는 극동러시아 연해주의 농업현황과 주요작물의 생산성에 대하여 조사 검토하여 해외농업 개발 및 농업생산기술 교류 등의 기초자료로 이바지 한다는 것은 매우 중요한 일이므로 이에 대한 일부를 요약하면 다음과 같다.

The Marriage Stewardship and the Role and Status of Social Development Network in Singapore (결혼 책임주의와 싱가포르 Social Development Network의 역할과 위상)

  • This paper focuses on how Singapore has adopted the 'Marriage Promotion Policy' for resolving the low birthrate and how it has been using the Social Development Network (SDN) to cope with the problem of low fertility. Social Development Network is an organization that shows Singapore's national stewardship to marriage, and has developed from the beginning to the social phenomenon of increasing number of highly educated women and decreasing fertility. The predecessor of Social Development Network is 'Social Development Unit' (SDU), absorbed the 'Social Development Service' (SDS) that was launched later, and reborn as Social Development Network in 2009. At its inception, Social Development Network has been recruiting and organizing its own memberships without the help of commercial marriage agencies, and since 2006 has been dedicated to delegating dating and matchmaking services to private companies and supporting projects. The purpose of this paper using literature analysis is to analyze the status and role of Social Development Network from the theoretical point of view of marital stewardship to the present, and to suggest meaningful implications for Korea which has the same social experience.

The Effects of the Constructivist Instructional Model on the Acquisition of Atmospheric Pressure Conceptions and Learning Motivation (구성주의적 과학수업이 대기압 개념 획득과 학습동기에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the constructivist instructional model on the acquisition of atmospheric pressure conceptions and learning motivation. The step of constructivist instruction was prediction and explanation-experiment and observation-discussion-application. The control group consisted of two classes of students who participated in the teacher-centered instruction. The experimental group consisted of two classes of students who participated in the constructivist instruction. To examine students' preconceptions before the instructions, a preconceptions test was administered. After the instructions, students' acquisition of atmospheric pressure conceptions and learning motivation were measured with a researcher-made post-conceptions test and The Course Interest Survey. The results from this study were as follows: First, the constructivist instruction is more effective method in acquisition of atmospheric pressure conceptions and learning motivation than the teacher-centered instruction. Therefore, in order to increase the acquisition of science conceptions and to decrease the science misconceptions, we need to use the constructivist instructional model which make learners self check their own preconceptions of science. Second, the constructivist instruction is more effective than teacher-centered instruction in three elements of learning motivation. So, we need to develop the effective ARCS(attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction) strategies in order to use the constructivist instructional model and to verify it's effectiveness. Third, to improve teaching and learning methods, educational researchers should carry out studies using many points of view than studies biased constructivism or objectivism. In this respect, we need to contrive how to integrate constructive view points and objective view points.

A Study of Husband's Problem Drinking on the Wife's Problem Drinking -Focused on the mediating Effect of Spouse Abuse- (남성가구주의 음주가 배우자 음주에 미치는 영향 -배우자 폭력의 매개효과-)

  • Research has consistently reported a strong association between spouse abuse and problem drinking. The primary aim of this study was to examine the role of spouse abuse as mediator between the husband's problem and wife's problem drinking. Data from 1st year Korea Welfare Panel were used for the analysis. Subjects in this study consisted of 3,284 male household who aged between 19 years old and 64 years old. The statistical significance was tested by SPSS 18.0, AMOS 18.0. The findings of the study were as follows: First, husband's problem drinking were significantly affected to the wife's problem drinking. Second, there was a strong association between husband's problem drinking and spouse abuse. Third, spouse abuse worked as mediators between the husband's problem and wife's problem drinking. Based upon these findings we suggest to develop an integrated substance abuse-domestic violence treatment program. The implications and limitations of these findings were discussed, and directions for future studies were also proposed.

Shift from Developmentalism to Neoliberalism and Changes in Spatial Policy in S. Korea (발전주의에서 신자유주의로의 이행과 공간정책의 변화)

  • Neoliberalism can be seen as a path-dependent, hybrid and contradictory project that operates actually (not just ideologically) through intervention of the state that has been not weakened in its strength but different in its strategies, especially through neoliberal policies of remaking urban space. This paper seeks to characterize the development of neoliberalism and urban policies in S. Korea, by examining the trajectory of neoliberalism generated in its contextually specific way since the late 1980s, by illuminating the intersection between new neoliberal programs and the existing developmentalism of the state and changes in spatial policy with its effects, which can be divided into two phases: the first from the late 1980s to the economic crisis in 1997, and the second from the crisis to the present. This paper finally identifies several paths in which the state and the market would be interrelated, and argues that the vision of national development and spatial policy should be welfare(i.e. human)-oriented, not industry(i.e. capital)-oriented.

  • The biggest strength of the Internet is to enable to access information without any limitation of time and space. As the Internet and IT technologies have been developed, various kinds of teaching ways in education field such as remote lectures, video lectures, and CAI(Computer Adapted Instruction) have emerged. In terms of education, evaluation can be a basic foundation to help teach students in the next learning stage according to each student's level. In addition, it is able to give the information of students'abilities and provides proper learning programs to teach students on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of the paper is to establish evaluation system on the WWW(World Wide Web) that can reflect learning activities part of students in their evaluation scores based on the two important learning theories, Behaviorism and constructivism, which are mainly used in evaluation procedures to judge learning ability of students. This system will give information about learners, and analyze the learning interest of learners. The proposed system enables teachers to evaluate learning ability of students through various kinds of information of learners, and to execute level-based education.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the effect EVE about culture & art education and social tendencies have on adult educatees eliminating controlled mechanisms. Quantitative research on those in their 40s and 50s was executed. The results show that there is a high correlation between GEVE and individualism, REVE and collectivism. GEVE has a higher influence on actualization of self-efficiency, FEVE on reignition of retained desires, REVE on substantialization of non-isolation, individualism on actualization of self-efficiency, and collectivism on substantialization of non-isolation. This research evokes the importance of an interdisciplinary and integrated understanding of EVE in culture & art education, educatees' social tendencies, and their psychological mechanisms. Also, it suggests the necessity of following research and practical adaptation related to developing programs, securing quantitative and qualitative appropriateness reflecting social requirements, and operation, evaluation, and management considering reciprocality.
