The notions of conditional probability and independence are fundamental to all aspects of probabilistic reasoning. Several previous studies identified some misconceptions in students' thinking in conditional probability. However, they have not analyzed enough the nature of conditional probability. The purpose of this study was to analyze conditional probability and students' knowledge on conditional probability. First, we analyzed the conditional probability from mathematical, historico-genetic, psychological, epistemological points of view, and identified the essential aspects of the conditional probability. Second, we investigated the high school students' and undergraduate students' thinking m conditional probability and independence. The results showed that the students have some misconceptions and difficulties to solve some tasks with regard to conditional probability. Based on these analysis, the characteristics of reasoning about conditional probability are investigated and some suggestions are elicited.

This study aimed to investigate beliefs of secondary pre-service teachers in mathematics. In particular, conceptions of teaching and learning were examined, For the purpose of this study, using an instrument, Teaching and Learning Conceptions Questionnaire, developed by Chan & Elliot(2004), a survey was conducted for 86 secondary mathematics pre-service teachers in Incheon area. The results showed that the mathematics pre-service teachers strongly agreed with the constructivist perspectives. In addition, compared to the juniors, the seniors responded more positive in the questions relative to the traditionalist view and the male students agreed more with the traditional conceptions, as comparing to the female students in this study. This study had limitations on the extent of the research site and participant. However, it would provide foundational information about pre-service teachers for teacher educators.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the tenth grade science textbooks as an origin of misconception on greenhouse effect concept and find incorrect descriptions on that concept and then suggest some improved schemes. Some incorrect descriptions, pictures. tables and experiments related to misconceptions on greenhouse effect were found in textbooks. The purpose of the present study was to prepare baseline data for developing nursing theory and knowledge by analyzing the concept of taeoom among the nurses and by investigating the differences from the similar concept of workplace bullying. This study carried out an analysis after perusing 15 articles selected from 125 research articles retrieved according to the evolutionary method of Rodgers. The attributes of taeoom found in the present study were passage rites, painful human relationships, verbal attacks, and working relationships. There is a clear difference in concept between taeoom and workplace bullying, therefore the two concepts should be used discriminatively in nursing research. In addition, by the dynamic changes of the properties of taeoom according to the times and social circumstances, the concept of taeoom is gradually expanding and changing negatively.

A computer system supporting conceptual design is required to have not only a design model for creative works but also flexibility to cope with changing environments. In this research, a new conceptual design system was developed by expanding functions of existing systems. The modules of the system were maintained to have independency so that each unit module could be executed alone. The adaptable conceptual design system based on the super-application concept which control each module in high level was developed using UNIX C Shell of SUN SPARC workstation.

ICT의 발달과 더불어 근로의 본질이 지식근로로 바뀌어 가고 있고, 따라서 시간과 장소에 구속되지 않고 좀더 자유롭게 ICT를 활용하여 업무를 수행하는 스마트워크가 확산되고 있다. 미래형 근로의 형태를 수용하고자 하는 스마트워크는 근무패러다임의 변화라서 정책적으로도 많은 변화가 요구되고 있다. 이러한 정책들의 근간 자료이자 현황과 변화의 추세를 파악하여야 하는데 이를 위해서는 스마트워크의 추진 정도, 또는 수준을 지속적으로 측정하는 지표 시스템이 필요하다. 이러한 측정 지표의 개발을 위해서는 복합적인 개념인 스마트워크를 좀더 정교하게 정의하고 이와 관련된 지표들을 총괄하는 프레임워크 도출이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내외에서 시행되고 있는 스마트워크 관련 조사들의 내용들과, 선행 학술 연구문헌들을 취합 분석하여 스마트워크의 개념을 정의하고 스마트워크의 수준을 측정하기 위한 기본 프레임워크를 제시하고 있다.

과거 재료가공 위주의 산업시대에는 에너지가 산업의 가장 중요한 열쇠였으나 현대 산업사회에서는 부가가치를 지식과 정보로부터 창출해낸다. 그러므로 21세기에는 지식정보와 커뮤니케이션이 산업의 가장 중요한 열쇠가 될 것이다. 현대 기업환경의 변화는 과거와 다른 양상으로 나타나고 있고 한편 경영자들에게는 기업경영과 기업의 의미에 대해 새로운 패러다임을 요구하는 상황에 이르렀다. 이러한 변화 추세로 21세기를 예측해 본 학자들은 대표적인 조직모델로 소위 '가상기업을 내세우고 있다. 가상기업이란 특정 프로젝트가 끝나면 해체할 수 있는 전략적 제휴에 의해 임시로 형성되는 조직체이다. 이 논고에서는 현대 기업환경과 기업조직의 변화로 인한 가상기업 개념의 출현배경을 알아보고, 아직까지 애매 모호한 이 개념을 정의하고 그 모델을 제시한다. 그리고 정보기술의 응용과 공용 인터페이스의 활용으로 어떻게 이러한 형태의 가상공동체를 형성하고 관리할 수 있는지 고찰해보고, 21세기 지식경영시대에 가상기업형 조직의 경영을 위한 지식정보시스템 구축의 예로서 재단법인 충청지역정보원의 통합정보시스템을 소개한다.

유선 네트워크 환경을 위해 디자인된 경로설정 프로토콜들은 대역폭의 제한성과 예측할 수 없는 토폴로지의 변화로 인해 ad-hoc 네트워크 환경에 적용하기에는 부적합하다. 최근 들어 ad-hoc 네트워크 환경에 적합한 경로설정 프로토콜들이 많이 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 ad-hoc 경로설정 프로토콜을 토폴로지 변화에 대한 적응력을 향상시키기 위해서 GPS(Global Positioning System) 기술을 활용하여 가상 지역(virtual zone) 개념을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로토콜은 AODV(Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector) 경로설정 프로토콜을 기본으로 하고 있다. AODV의 경로설립(route discovery) 과정 시 이러한 가상 지역 개념을 도입함으로써 이동 단말의 이동성에 의한 토폴로지의 변화에도 불구하고 잘 적응할 수 있는 안정된 경로의 설립을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 다양한 트래픽 상태와 단말들의 이동성 형태에 따른 중요 변수들을 설명하였으며 이에 따라 제안된 경로설정 프로토콜(AODV-GPS)의 효율성을 검증하고 있다.

도시하천에서 실제적으로 비점오염원 유입에 의한 수질오염은 분석이 용이하지 않기 때문에 본 연구에서는 강우사상에 따른 도시하천의 수질변화에 대한 연구를 통해 수질오염을 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 도시하천에서의 강우사상이 수질오염에 막대한 영향을 끼친다는 기본적인 개념을 바탕으로 강우사상에 따른 수질변화를 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 대상지역은 이미 도시화가 많이 진행되어 도시하천의 특성을 가진 인천에서 시작해 김포에서 끝나는 굴포천 유역을 대상지역으로 설정하였으며 XP-SWMM을 이용하여 1994년~2009년의 유출량을 모의하고 교차상관분석(Cross Correlation)을 통해 수질과 유량의 상관성을 분석한 결과 6개월 간격으로 강한 음의 상관성을 갖는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 최근 우리나라에서도 적용하기 위해 검토 중인 수질오염총량제에서 적용하는 TMDL(Total Maximum Daily Load)의 기본개념을 이용하여 오염원의 총량을 산정하였다.
