The purpose of this study is to investigate students' understanding of functions based on concept image and concept definition suggested by Vinner, For the study a graphing calculator was provided as a tool for students to use for their exploration. Three students participated in the study using the qualitative research method to identify their processes of understanding functions. The student with previous experiences of the functions had various concept images about the functions and did not have many opportunities to modify their images because the student did not want to depend on the calculator. However, the student who did not have many chances to study about the functions before used the calculator effectively for developing the concept definition on the functions. The calculator played an important role in connecting different representations and finding relationships between these representations supported by dynamic exploration.

The purpose of this study was exploring instructive methods to make each gifted child's ability develop as more by selecting the dynamic method instead of existing static method in teaching and evaluating science-gifted students in elementary school and by analyzing conceptual change of electric circuit. In this research, 11 science-gifted students in primary school were chosen, and Dynamic Science Assessment(DSA) intended to comprehension of scientific electric circuit concept was performed as focusing on scaffolding aspects in order to find the transition process. And then, the features on transition process of students' concept were analyzed in quality. The results of the study were checked that the features of useful scaffolding input with respect to comprehending concepts of science gifted-students by using DSA. The less familiar to approach the subjects, the more presented numbers of scaffolding showed. As coming toward transition and same questions, scaffoldings (interactions) were declined because their level of transition was higher than before. Various ways were used in helping the students comprehend the concept on the method of connecting electric circuit and the emitting amount of current, which acted to adapt to daily life.

In this study, we investigated the role of a discrepant event from both cognitive and motivational perspectives in learning the concept of combustion. A preconception test, a test of response to a discrepant event, and a situational interest questionnaire were administered to 433 eighth graders. After learning the concept of combustion, the tests of attention, effort, and conceptual understanding were administered as post-tests. The reponses of 208 students who had been found to possess the target misconception were analyzed. The percentages of rejection and exclusion responses were relatively high compared to the previous studies about density concept, whereas a proportion of belief change was low. The results of the path analysis indicated that situational interest after presenting an alternative hypothesis had a direct effect and an indirect effect via attention and effort on conceptual understanding. Situational interest induced by a discrepant event directly influenced cognitive conflict after presenting an alternative hypothesis.

방송 서비스는 이제 디지털 시대를 맞이하여 일대 패러다임의 변화를 겪고 있다. 전 세계는 본격적인 디지털 방송 시대를 맞이하고 있으며, 새로운 반송 환경에서는 기존의 서비스와는 비교할 수 없을 정도로 향상된 품질의 오디오비쥬얼 데이터를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 시청자의 요구에 적절히 대응하는 대화형 멀티미디어 방송 서비스 제공이 가능해 진다. 이러한 방송 분야의 눈부신 발전에는 국제 표준화 기구인 ISO/IEC 산하의 동영상 전문가 그룹인 MPEG의 표준기술 개발이 큰 원동력이 되고 있다. 본 고에서는 대화형 방송의 개념과 기술을 중심으로 현재 진행되고 있는 방송 기술의 변화를 살펴보고, 객체 지반의 데이터 압축, 처리, 전송을 가능하게 하는 MPEG-4 및 내용 기반 검색 및 필터링을 가능하게 하는 MPEG-7 기술의 개념 및 방송 서비스 적용에 대해 검토해보기로 한다.

현대마케팅의 특징을 규정짓는 요소는 무엇일까. 최근마케팅의 가장 큰 화두는 무엇일까. 약간의 과장을 보탠다면 ‘브랜드’와 ‘정보화’의 두요소가 모든 마케팅을 규정 짓는다고 할 수있다. 정보의 교환과 소통이 인터넷이라는 혁명적인 도구를 이용해 활발해졌고, 그러한 환경변화는 마케팅의 중심에 있는 브랜드를 육성하는 방법까지도 변화시켰다. 브랜드를 제대로 육성하기 위해서는 상투적인 마케팅 수단을 벗어나 새롭게 발전된 개념에 대한 이해가 필수적이라고 주장하는 이들이 힘을 얻고 있다. 특히‘ 체험마케팅(Experiential Marketing)’과‘ 브랜드화 된 고객 경험(Branded Customer Experience)’이란 개념이 마케팅의 새로운 틀로 부각되고있다.

현재 건축기계설비 분야 중 공기조화 설계분야에서는 지난 수십년간 많은 변화가 이루어져 왔으며, 우리나라에서도 외국에서 발달된 설계개념 및 이론을 우리 실정에 맞게 수정·적용하려고 하는 많은 노력이 있어왔다. 또한 근본개념의 이해를 바탕으로 한 기본 데이터의 수정에 대한 필요성도 느껴, 수정작업이 상당부분 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 급배수 설비분야에 대한 해석적인 기본원리는 그다지 변화된 것도 없으며, 또한 국내에서도 기본 데이터를 수정하려고 하는 노력도 극히 일부에 국한된 실정이며, 아울러 기본원리에 대한 정확한 이해도 부족한 경우가 많았다고 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is to explore vocational high school students' understanding levels and misconceptions regarding the time-efficiency of algorithms. In this study, a questionnaire with nine questions was developed. The questionnaire is base on three misconceptions about the time-efficiency of algorithms that are examined through prior studies. The questionnaire was applied to 51 students who completed a programming course. The result shows that the students didn't sufficiently understand the concept of time-efficiency of algorithms and several common misconceptions appeared repeatedly. Finally, teaching strategies using simulation and assesment framework for algorithm's time-efficiency were presented and some recommendations were suggested for refining the curriculum relating computer programming and algorithms.
