The Korea's automotive industry have been achieved a remarkable growth with various original models since the first original model ‘Pony’for the 25years. Most of the design works were depended upon the designers of the other countries on the early times, but now the design work gets to have the independency with our own technology and the automobile is now one of the major exporting goods of Korea to other countries. The basic design concept of the body shape can be considered into four types, and they have their own characteristics. The period of time for the original model developement of the Korean auto makers can be thought as four periods ; introducing period, settling period, developing period and matured period are them. The models that developed on each period reflects the characteristics of the times with designers, technology and market conditions. The basic design concepts of the Korean car body show the variety but the concepts have been intergrated into the two types as the time gose by. This tendency would comes form mainly technology, but the consumers characteristics of the market would also influence as much as the technological reason. It would become more important on developing the original model with the autonomy in design concept of the body through grasping the change of formal characteristics clearly on an automobile in the future.

This study is to search the problems of schoolyard teaching material developed by pre-service earth science teachers and the critical factors affecting material making. The 258 schoolyard teaching materials was collected from 54 pre-service earth science teachers (male: 18, female: 36) major in Earth Science Education in Jeonju, Korea. The schoolyard teaching materials was greatly influenced by making process type of it and the prior knowledge of pre-service earth science teachers. As schoolyard preference exploratory type rely on their prior knowledge to develop the schoolyard teaching materials, they made use of the limited concepts like fault in material making. But the concept preference exploratory type made use of concepts not accessible to majority of pre-service earth science teachers because they selected a concept from the earth science textbook first of all. The pre-service earth science teachers having wrong prior knowledge selected inappropriate resources, as well as fell into the error of concept connecting. The pre-service earth science teachers having right prior knowledge partly considered only shape of resources, but had a disregard for formation process of it in material making. Accordingly, we need to reflect richly Geological Field Trip and Solid Earth Science to curriculum for earth science teacher education. And we have to educate pre-service earth science teachers to create holistic concept on the geological subject matter knowledge, field based teaching and learning strategy, material making process.

전문가시스템이 등장한지도 근 20년이 흘렀고 다양한 분야에서 기업의 중추적 시스템으로 운영되고 있다. 이렇게 전문가시스템이 연구단계에서 벗어나 실용화됨에 따라 전문가시스템의 개발방법에 대한 연구가 학계가 산업계가 새로운 연구과제로 인식되고 있다. 지금까지 개발에 대한 연구는 주로 지식획득 기술의 개발에 치중되어있다. 본 논문에서는 전문가시스템의 개발에 대한 방법론적 접근방법이 제시된다. 이 접근벙법은 시간과 인력 등 자원의 제약을 받는 전문가시스템 개발프로젝트에 적합한 것으로 동시공학(Concurrent Engineering)개념을 채택하고 있으며 개발 라이프사이클 모델, 프로젝트팀 구성방법등을 다루고 있다. 또한, 동시공학적 접근방법을 지원하기 위한 분석과 설계방법으로는 객체지향기술을 사용하며 개발단계별로 해당 모델이 산출물로 구축된다.

Due to changes in the distribution industry, inner harbors have been on a sharp decline in the recent past. However, through the application of the right development plans, such harbors can be revitalized into vibrant urban areas again. The importance of inner harbors has been recognized by the relevant authorities in Korea which are now pushing forward with redevelopment plans for its inner harbors. This study proposes a new approach to redevelopment plans based on the recognition that inner harbors have unique characteristics involving both inland areas and the ocean. In the study, representative inner harbors were selected and analyzed comparatively according to two distinct concepts of location: the Gateway Concept and the Central Place Concept. Based on these concepts, the conditions of the inner harbors were examined. Their location can be typed, and development directions were proposed according to their types and conditions. However, difficult points such as isolation and separation between an urban district and the harbor area, can be obstructions to their potential revival. An inner harbor needs to be considered as an intermediary, connecting place between the ocean and the city, not as another ordinary development area. In addition, a redevelopment plan should be accompanied by a strategic viewpoint to make the most of this feature.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to identify high school students' conceptual differentiation patterns on human digestion system. The subjects were 124 high school students and this group was guided to independently construct concept maps. Among them, 19 were selected for an in-depth interview and a short test. The concept maps, interview transcripts and the results of short-test were analyzed to identify conceptual differentiation patterns. The results were as follows. Mainly three distinct conceptual differentiation patterns were identified. The first pattern can be named as an 'Free-flow type'. The group belongs to this pattern expressed numerous examples than meaningful concepts with unclear understanding of hierarchial relation between each concepts. Also, this group had difficulties in grasp interrelations of different concepts. The second pattern can be identified as 'Sequence type'. This group constructed concept maps by featuring conceptual sequence. The group applied meaningful learning, yet assembled concept maps primarily according to sequence of learning and exhibited less organized concept maps than hierarchial type. The third pattern can be named as 'Hierarchial type'. All students elaborated concept maps after lessons. The sequence type changed hierarchial type or sequence mixed with hierarchial type but free-flow type was hardly changed.

Preconceptions of middle school students related to chemical change the students are surveyed. The students are divided into experimental group that are learned by concept change theory teaching model, and control group that are learned by traditional teaching method based on science textbooks. After the planned classes, the tendencies of concept change of the two groups according to students learning motivations are analyzed. New teaching methods, which based on concept change learning model and students learning motivations, developed by this research. And the effects of the new teaching method are testified. As a result, it is proved that most of the students have a lot of preconceptions, and persist the wrong conceptions after the classes. This tendency is same in the control group and in the experimental group.

This paper presents web-based contents for studying electrical machines using Java Bean and Flash. The component-based software development techniques have been used to develop Java Bean and Flash components which are simple and convenient for learners. The components have been used to make 61 contents for the electrical machines. The contents have highly interactive capability, which gives much interest to learners. The learners can easily understand the electro-mechanical concept by changing the parameters interactively. The class load of the lecture can be reduced because the basic explanation of the subject is replaced by the web contents. The better quality of the class is expected by dealing with the higher concept in the classroom lecture because the basic concepts are explained through the contents.

The purpose of this study was to suggest to enable the development of lifelong learning skill through literature review on lifelong learning concept, educational method and objectives, factor of lifelong learning skill and case on foreign engineering colleges. Some strategies and implications were given to develop of lifelong learning skill of engineering college students. In the future, Applicable program is developed and needed for effective verification through demonstration research.
