The Usage of Animation and Social value.Clothing behavior of Adolescents (청소년들의 애니메이션 이용현황과 사회적 가치관.의복행동에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the usage of animation and its relation to the social values and clothing behaviour of adolescents. A survey was conducted in four different high schools in the metropolitan area (Seoul) and 187copies were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 package. The results were as follows; First, According to Usage survey, a number of adolescents watched animations mainly through the internet and 39% of them used the internet $2{\sim}3$ times a week. The most watched genre of animation was action/science-fiction but some differences were observed between male students and female students. Male students enjoyed action/science-fiction, comedy and drama/romance, whereas female students enjoyed drama/romance, action/science-fiction and comedy in the decreasing order. Second, It was found that the favorite genre of animation by adolescents had influence on their community mind and materialism. The most significant genre affectingcommunity life was drama/romance and the one affecting materialism of adolescents was action/science-fiction. Third, Materialism had a significant influence on clothing conformity and the next was community mind. Only materialism proved to be a significant variable affecting fashion followers. In conclusion, the results of this study showed that the adolescents' community life and materialism were significantly influenced by their favorite genre of the animation, and their social values were related to their clothing behaviors.

Study on Establishment of Food Material Size Specification Based on Elementary School Menus (초등학교 급식 식단별 식재료 크기 설정에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to establish size specification of food material for elementary school meals, researched at school meal scene and surveyed with questionnaires about the management of food materials by workers devoted to preparing school meals. Most subjects (80.7%) answered that students were served smaller size than adults, whereas 11.0% answered that they served different sizes according to school age and 8.3%, that they served same size as adult. About the food material size specification for elementary school student, a majority of respondents reported that 3/4 or 2/4 of adult served size was suitable. The serving size was decided and executed to investigate the actual intake and the preference of students for food size by 2 methods, intake ratio and questionnaire in 6 elementary schools. It showed that intake ratio and preference of students may be changed by serving size. According to the result, food serving size was divided in 3 types per menu and food size was measured precisely using the white board inscripted calibration. Actual food serving size for adult and recommended food serving size for elementary school student was compared. The data collected were coded and used to decide food material specifications for 12 cooked vegetable items, 15 raw vegetable items, 9 kimchi items, 2 fermented fish and fish sauce items, 8 deep-fried items, 5 meat and meat product items, 19 fish items and 5 dried food items.

A STUDY ON THE MANDIBULAR MOVEMENT OF ANTERIOR OPENBITE PATIENTS (전치부 개교환자의 하악 운동에 관한 연구)

  • It is very important for the ideal restorations of anterior openbite patients to record the mandibular movement and to harmonize mandibular movement with other organs in stomatognathic systems. This study was designed to compare the mandibular movement of anterior openbite patients with that of normal bite(Angle Class I) patients, to ascertain which components of mandibular movement have differences between two groups, and to use for occlusal treatment of mandibular movement. Saphon Visi-trainer Model 3(Tokyo Shizaisha Co. Japan) and Denar Pantronic(Denar Corp.,U.S.A.) were used to record mandibular movement. Pantronic survey was peformed by using an arbitrary hinge axis according to manufacturer's direction. Twenty-eight adult who have physiologically normal occlusion(Angle Class I) and are free of TM dysfunction were selected as a control group(Group 1). Fifteen adult who are anterior openbite patient and have not anterior guidance function and have posterior interference at protrusion were selected as a experimental group(Group 2). The results are as follows : 1. There was no statistically significant difference between the average immediate and progressive side shift of anterior openbite patients(0.54mm, $7.57^{\circ}$) and those of normal group(0.49mm, $5.96^{\circ}$). 2. The average protrusive and orbiting condylar inclination of anterior openbite patient$(30.87^{\circ},\;32.27^{\circ})$ were significantly lower than those of normal group$(36.11^{\circ},\;39.04^{\circ})$ (P<0.05). 3. In the results of Visi-trainer recordings, the mean for the maximum protrusion, the maximum laterotrusion, the angle of laterotrusion and the angle of protrusion in the horizontal trajectory between group 1 and 2 did not differ significantly. 4. The mean for the angle of protrusion, the maximum opening in the frontal trajectory, the ICP-RCP(A-P) distance and the angle of protrusion in the sagittal trajectory differ significantly(P<0.05). 5. The significant correlation was found between orbiting condylar inclination and protrusive condylar inclination.

Construction cost Prediction Model for Educational Building (학교건축의 공사비 분석 및 예측에 관한 연구)

  • Along with social changes, school buildings are getting complex and diversified unlike the past. However, objective data analysis on construction costs fall short. In particular, ordering agencies are in a great need of objective and practical construction cost management for on-budget construction and procurement of quality goods. This paper analyzes the design diagram for a newly built school with an order from the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, and compares the analysis with those of other kinds of buildings. The results are: the total construction cost of one school unit is 8,017,596,000 won on average; the cost is in the order of building, machinery and equipment, electricity, communications and civil engineering; as to activity, RC construction takes account of $30.3\%$ of the total construction cost. 1'he cost of school construction per M2 is 838,000 won, which is 6th highest of 11 kinds of constructions and slightly lower than 950,000 won, the average price of comparative constructions. When it comes to the percentage, school building takes mote percentage of the total cost than comparative building while machinery and equipment, electricity and communications takes slightly less percentage. Through simple regression analysis of gross coverage, this paper suggests a model formula with which the total construction cost, construction cost in accordance with activity, how much main construction materials are to be used are predictable.

Development of an Alternative In-Service Program for Professional Development for Teachers of Science through STS/Constructivist Approach (과학교사들의 전문성 향상을 위한 대안적 현직 교육 프로그램의 개발-STS/구성주의 모듈 개발 및 적용)

  • Constructivist theory and teaching science in the social context are a main stream in science education. This study was purposed to introduce the STS in-service program implementing in Chonnam National University. and to analyze the results of the program in terms of changes of teachers' and students' perceptions and attitudes. The major features of the STS in-service program were as follows: teacher-centered. teaching in the social context. emphasis on constructivist approach. development of STS module and implementations. A total of 20 secondary science teachers participated in the in-service program. and filled out two questionnaires. Science Education Reform Inventory and Constructivist Teachings Survey. Three of the 20 teachers were selected to gain information from their implementations of a STS module into their respective classrooms. The students completed two instruments. Constructivist Learning Environment Survey. and Scientific Attitude Survey. The responses from teachers and students are as follows: 1. The participating teachers were very aware of the necessity of reform in science education. and the degree of the perception of the necessity increased after the STS in-service program. 2. The STS program significantly improved constructivist teaching techniques. 3. The perceptions of the students about constructivist learning environments improved significantly after the STS in-service program. 4. Students' scientific attitudes improved significantly through STS approach. The STS in-service program with the above mentioned features was found to be effective in our current school system. and could be implemented successfully if teachers were willing to learn and participate in the reforms of science education.

  • Apert syndrome is an autosomal dominant condition characterized by craniosynostosis, midface hypoplasia, and syndactyly of the hands and feet. It occurs in about 1 of every 65,000 to 160,000 births and is caused by a mutation in the fibroblast growth factor receptor 2(FGFR2) gene. Apert syndrome typically produces acrobrachycephaly(tower skull). The occiput is flattened, and there is a tall appearance to the fore head. Ocular proptosis is a characteristic finding, along with hypertelorism and downward slanting lateral palpebral fissures. The middle third of the face is markedly retruded and hypoplastic, resulting in a relative mandibular prognathism. The reduced size of the nasopharynx and narrowing of the posterior choana can lead to mouth breathing, contributing to an open-mouth apprance. Three fourths of all patients exhibit either a cleft of the soft palate or a bifid uvula. The maxillary hypoplasia leads to a V-shaped arch and crowding of the teeth. A 6-year-old male patient visited to the Department of Pediatric dentistry, Kangnung National University of Dental Hospital. He visited the hospital to get treatment of carious teeth. The purpose of this report is to present a specific dental manifestations about the apert syndrome.

AMELOGENESIS IMPERFECTA: A CASE REPORT (법랑질 형성부전증 환아의 치험례)

  • Amelogenesis imperfecta is a group of hereditary defects of enamel, unassociated with any other generalized defects. It is classified into 14 subtypes according to different clinical and genetic features. According to its clinical features, it is classified into hypoplastic type, hypocalcified type and hypomaturation type. However, these features tend to co-exist often. Dental features associated with amelogenesis imperfecta include quantitative and qualitative enamel deficiencies, pulpal calcification, root malformations, abnormal eruption, impaction of permanent teeth, progressive resorption of root and crown, congenital missing teeth and anterior and posterior open bite occlusions. The first case patient is a 16 month-old child with discoloration of deciduous teeth. All of her deciduous and permanent dentition has shown amelogenesis imperfecta. The restorational, orthodontic and recent prosthodontic treatments have been completed. Another patient is a 9 year and 3 month-old child with amelogenesis imperfecta in both deciduous and permanent dentition. The restoration has been done and the prosthodontic treatment is planned after the completion of growth. Above cases indicate that amelogenesis imperfecta occurs both in deciduous and permanent dentition, and it requires the long term treatment and care.

중학생 자유학기제 창업교육(BizCool)과 긍정적사고, 학습성취도와의 관계

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명 시대라 하여 새로운 기술들이 등장하고 기술들이 융합되면서 새롭고 혁신적인 산업과 서비스가 창출되고 있다. 이러한 시대에 청소년들의 새로운 아이디어와 기술은 4차 산업혁명에 맞는 새로운 성장 동력을 확보할 수 있을 것이라고 여겨진다. 4차 산업의 혁명이 요청되는 이 시기에 산업을 견인할 수 있는 길은 창업의 길이다. 따라서 창업을 통해 4차 산업혁명을 이끌어갈 수 있는 인재가 무엇보다도 필요하다. 청소년들은 학교 프로그램을 통해 다양한 창업교육을 접하고 있으며, 공공기관의 대표적인 창업교육은 중소벤처기업부(구 중소기업청)가 주관하고 있는 BizCool이 있다. 교육부에서 중학생들에게 자유학기제를 2016년 1월 1일부터 실시하고 있으며 BizCool 교육을 통한 창업, 진학, 취업의 우수 사례들이 등장하면서 2017년 현재 대한민국 약 500여개의 학교에서 중소벤처기업부의 지원을 받아 BizCool 교육이 진행 되고 있다. BizCool은 청소년들의 기업가정신 함양 및 모의 창업 교육을 통해 확고한 경제관념을 형성하고 꿈 끼 도전정신 진취성을 갖춘 '융합형 창의인재' 양성을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문은 중학교 자유학기제를 통한 창업교육이 학생들에게 긍정적 사고와 학습성취도에 미치는 관계에 대해 연구하는데 목적을 두었다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 대전광역시교육청에서 자유학기제 BizCool 교육을 받는 3개 학교를 선정하였고 갑천중, 도안중, 문정중 3개 학교의 창업교육 담당교사의 도움을 받아 창업교육 참가 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 연구결과를 분석하였다. 실증분석결과, 첫째, 창업교육은 학생들의 긍정적 사고에 양의 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 창업교육은 학생들의 학습성취도에 양의 영향을 미친다는 것을 제시하였다. 셋째, 창업교육은 학생들의 학습성취도에 긍정적 사고가 매개효과를 미친다는 것을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 시사하는 바는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구결과 자유학기제 창업교육은 학생들에게 학습성취도를 높여 주었다. 따라서 학생들에게 도움이 되는 BizCool 교육을 전국 초, 중, 고등학교 11,733개교에 확산시켜 체계적으로 습득 할 수 있는 환경이 조성되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 연구결과 창업교육은 긍정적 사고에 영향을 미쳤다. 전기숙(2016)에 따르면 청소년의 행복에 있어서 긍정적인 대인관계가 가장 중요한 요인이 된다고 하였다. BizCool 교육을 통해 사람과 팀의 소중함을 깨달으며 소통하는 법을 노력한다면 바른 인성을 갖춘 창의성 높은 학생들로 성장할 것이다. 셋째, 연구결과 창업교육의 학습성취도는 긍정적 사고를 가지고 있는 학생들에게 더욱 높게 나타났다. 긍정적 사고를 가지고 자신감 있게 매사 행동해 나간다면 학생들은 성취로 인한 만족감을 느끼며 행복한 학교생활을 해나갈 수 있고 BizCool 교육과 함께 멋진 미래를 만들어 갈 것이다. 본 연구에서 한계점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특정 지역, 특정 학교를 대상으로 실시하였기 때문에 표본의 수가 제한적이므로 전체를 대표하기에는 제약이 있다. 둘째, 긍정적 사고는 학생들의 환경과 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있으므로 연구 대상자의 조건 면에서 한계가 있다. 셋째, 중학교 자유학기제 창업교육의 체계화가 미비하다. 학교에서 창업교육을 하는 담당 교사는 창업 경험이 풍부하지 않기 때문에 창업교육 전문가가 필요하며 국가기관과 기업 등이 연계한 학습 형태를 구축하여 더 활발하고 현장감 있는 창업교육이 실시되기를 바란다.

Awareness and Use of Fast Food on Elementary School 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Students in Pyeongtaek City (평택시 초등학생의 패스트푸드에 대한 인식과 이용)

  • 최근 아동들 사이에서 칼로리가 높고 간단하게 먹을 수 있는 인스턴트식품이나 패스트푸드 등의 섭취가 증가하는 경향과 함께 비만 등 영양적인 문제점이 크게 부각되고 있다. 특히 아동기는 식습관 형성에 중요한 시기이므로 올바른 식품선택은 무엇보다 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교 학생들의 올바른 식생활문화를 형성하기 위한 자료로 활용하고자 평택 초등학교 2개교의 4, 5, 6학년 300명을 대상으로 패스트푸드 섭취실태를 조사하였다. 평균연령은 11.7세, 키는 141.5cm, 몸무게는 36.7kg이였다. 아침 식습관태도 조사에서는 일주일에 5번 이상 아침식사를 한다(여학생 78.1%, 남학생 74.3%)는 답이 가장 많았다. 아침결식 이유는 밥맛이 없기 때문(여 58.2%, 남 54.4%)이 가장 높은 비율이었고, 편식은 여학생의 54.2%, 남학생의 48.9%가 하지 않는다고 하였으나, 편식하는 식품은 나물이나 샐러드 등의 채소류(여 51.1%, 남 61.4%)가 많았다. 간식섭취는 가끔 섭취한다는 답이 여학생 59.8%, 남학생 60.0%로 높은 비율을 나타냈다. 간식은 부모님이 사주신다(여 32.6%, 남 39.1%)고 하였으며, 여학생은 50.5%가 가족과 함께 먹고 남학생의 경우에는 44.8%가 혼자 먹는다는 결과를 보였다. 간식으로 과일섭취가 이루어지고 있는지 조사한 결과는 여학생의 33.0%가 2-3일에 2회 이상 섭취한다고 했지만, 남학생은 29.5%가 매일 먹는다고 답을 하여 과일섭취는 모두 딸이 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 패스트푸드의 이용동기는 맛이 좋아서(남 60.8% 여 55.2%), 다음은 이용이 편리하기 때문이며(남 32.4% 여 40.6%), 주로 이용하는 곳은 분식 및 편의점이었다. 패스트푸드 이용횟수는 월1-2회(남 52.4%, 여 51.6%)가 가장 많았으며, 다음이 주1회 정도(남 21.9%, 여 32.0%) 이용한다고 하였다. 이용시간은 방과 후 저녁시간을 가장 많이 이용하며(남 47.6%, 여 50.5%), 남 녀 모두 사서 집에서 먹거나(남 44.7%, 여 41.2%), 배달시켜 집에서 먹는다(남 39.8%, 여 37.1%)고 하였다. 가장 좋아하는 패스트푸드는 라면 등의 분식으로 여학생의 40.2%, 남학생의 26.2%가 해당되었고, 그 다음 순서로 남학생은 피자(22.3%)와 치킨(22.3%) 및 햄버거(18.5%), 여학생은 치킨(25.8%)과 도너츠(12.4%)를 더 선호하였다. 패스트푸드 만족도를 3점 척도로 조사한 결과, 맛이 가장 높은 점수(2.42)였으며, 가격(1.98), 위생(1.92) 서비스(2.15)는 보통으로 평가했다. 본 연구 결과, 조사 대상자들의 패스트푸드 섭취는 가끔 먹는 간식과 같은 형태로 당장 우려할 정도는 아니지만, 선행연구에서 보고된 바와 같이 10대와 20대에 특히 섭취율이 증가함을 감안할 때, 중학생이 되기 전 단계에서 우리음식의 우수성과 패스트푸드 섭취지양에 대한 교육이 필요하다고 본다.

An Analysis of Effect of Secondary School Adopting SMART Education Concept (스마트교육 개념을 도입한 중등학교의 효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of secondary school SMART education. In order to achieve this, the paper separated the high school which implements the smart education for the high school and the high school which did not apply the smart education concept, then figuring out the answer about what school is more effective, the influence of the smart education concept on the students' emotions and academic achievement. This paper analyzed the effectiveness of SMART Education between Hansol high school in SeJong city and Jungang high school in Gwachen city by using 'schoolinfo (www.schoolinfor.go.kr) SMART education.' This study first presented the SMART Education's concept and characteristics through reviewing some literature, and then categorized the characteristics by using the items included academic achievement and emotional effect. These items consist of the 'students academic scores' for the academic achievement, 'the number of students dropped out' and 'the damage rate of school violence' for the emotional items. The conclusion of this study is that Hansol high school indicates lower school violence rate than Gwachen high schools with the two school's violence rate decreasing. Moreover, students' score of Hansol high school is higher than high schools in Gwachen city. The SMART education school budget structure is 'Common type', which requires a lot of investment to 'Basic education activities', 'educational activities support', 'School general operating expenses' among education budget items.
