Educating qualified elementary school teachers depends on excellent pre-service education. The high quality of education is accomplished by various interactions between teachers and learners, as well as active participation by students. In the present study, online problem-based learning and an e-portfolio were used to examine the effect on the computer-curriculum education to reflect social and individual needs, and to enhance the quality of instruction at universities. Students (n=105) participated in six different problem-based learning sessions. At the same time, they developed Blog e-portfolios as individual and group products, and wrote reflective journals that focused on their learning processes and results. A qualitative analysis method was employed to analyze the reflective journals. The results of the analyses showed the following: 1) Increasing the understanding of the computer-curriculum education, 2) enhancing students' competence in using ICT potentially, 3) cultivating student-centered teaching and learning strategies on ICT, and 4) enhancing competence of future teaching activities through experiencing e-portfolio as a performance-assessment tool.

The male audience for melodrama, a typical women's genre, has drawn little attention in the audience research. Thus, this paper examines how and in what context they watch it, as well as how they accept and rationalize their 'feminine' taste. And in-depth interviews were conducted with seven middle-aged males. While they acknowledge their feminine taste, they tend to legitimize and re-contextualize it in ways that may not contradict their notion of masculinity. Consequently, they often demonstrate seemingly contradictory attitudes oscillating between enjoying it and distancing themselves from their please of viewing. Yet, their acknowledgement of feminization hardly extends to an acceptance of being labelled 'feminine' men. They attempt to distance themselves from emotional engagement in television viewing, either through emotional self-censorship or under-valuation of the taste for the genre itself. Finally, they hardly connect their taste for the genre to a sort of active post-viewing practices of fandom. The results have considerable implications for understanding how the melodrama-viewing males keep traversing the boundaries of gender-specific genres, and reconstitute the notion of masculinity.

The purpose of this study is to propose a strategy to educate the core contents of various major fields in practical and convergent ways in universities in order to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution era. First, convergence field is established in the university curriculum in addition to the existing major and the liberal arts field. Second, convergence courses are created in connection with job ability, which are major curriculum but only for students in other departments. Third, convergence courses are organized in the form of module curriculum, which is a small-sized and independent curriculum consisting of 4 courses. D University, one of the local private universities in Korea, has provided such convergence module education since 2016, and satisfactory results have been obtained in the course enrollment rate and the course evaluation, etc. By combining these convergence modules in various ways, it is possible to easily create customized majors required and designed by local companies at low cost.

Recent worldwide demand for organic and sustainable agriculture products is driving the development of formulations of biopesticides effective in the field. Biopesticides have the benefit of environmentally-friendly qualities. However, biocontrol approaches largely have been ineffective in controlling plant pests in field conditions. Previously, we developed a cost-effective biocontrol formulation containing chitin and chitinase-producing biocontrol bacteria with field efficacy. This formulated product has successfully suppressed various plant diseases in the field conditions. In this review, we focus on ecological aspects and the potential mechanisms underpinning the success of chitinase-producing bacteria. In addition, we discuss the possibility on-site cultivation of the formulated products to further strengthen the approach as being farmer friendly and successful.

This study investigated and analyzed the degree to which the '3rd Library Comprehensive Development Plan' established in Korea is related to the UN SDGs agenda, including whether the library does business or services related to the UN agenda. As a result, first, IFLA welcomed the UN 2030 Agenda by supporting the UN 2030 Agenda, that is, by presenting the library's specific implementation strategy to achieve the 17 goals of the SDGs. Second, all 14 Core tasks of the '3rd Comprehensive Library Development Plan' were found to be closely related to UN SDGs. Among them, it was analyzed that the convenience of access to user information, including the linkage of library information services, and the strengthening of library services tailored to the life cycle were most strongly related to this agenda. The results of this study are expected to help the community, government, local governments, and the public to appreciate the social contribution and value of the library.

This study was conducted to compare the self-leadership strategies and self-efficacy among the four types of career development in the Korean engineering college students. When the two variables including career decision level and career preparation behavior were considered, four different types of career development were obtained: immature, behavioral, pseudo, and ideal type. The results showed that the ideal type obtained the significantly higher scores on the self-leadership and self-efficacy scales than the other three types. The results of stepwise analysis suggested that each subtype had unique characteristics in relation to self-leadership strategies. Therefore, it would be useful to provide the engineering students with the specialized self-leadership training program based on the types of career development.

국가간 지역간 물의 이동을 개념화하여 물 부족 현상을 정치경제학적 관점에서 접근하려는 가상수(virtual water) 연구가 국제적으로 진행되고 있다. 가상수를 양적 측면에서 산정하여 정확한 물 수지를 파악하면 수자원에 대한 국가의 계획과 전략 수립에 매우 유리한 여건이 조성된다. 우리나라의 국가계획인 수자원장기종합계획은 국가 간의 물 이동을 고려하지 않고 국내에서 발생하는 용수의 수요와 공급 측면만을 산정하고 있다. 그러나 현재에도 국내에서 소비하는 농산물과 축산물의 상당량은 수입에 의존하고 있으며, 향후 국제교역과 FTA의 확대 등으로 그 의존도는 더욱 증대될 것으로 추산된다. 따라서 국가 간 물 이동에 대한 양적 규모를 파악하여 국가전략을 수립하는 기초자료로 활용하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 산업연관분석법을 활용하여 국내 산업별(제조업, 서비스업) 가상수를 산정하여 국가 수자원계획 수립에 필요한 기초자료로서 제공하고자 한다. 산업연관분석(Inter-industry analysis)은 산업연관표를 바탕으로 산업 간의 상호 연관관계를 수량적으로 파악하는 방법이다. 이를 가상수 산정에 활용하여 직접수와 간접수를 포함한 물의 전체 사용량을 산정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 각 산업의 용수량을 총 생산량으로 나누어 물 강도($m^3$/원)를 계산하고, 생산유발계수와 최종수요를 곱하는 방식으로 산업별 가상수량을 산정하였다. 산업별 가상수 산정 결과는 경제총조사의 용수비와 산업연관표의 생산유발계수를 적용하였으며, 제2차 산업인 제조업 분야의 연간 가상수량은 60.4억 $m^3$, 제3차 산업인 서비스 분야의 가상수량은 연간 43.1억 $m^3$으로 분석하였다. 또한 향후 10년의 OECD 기술수준 제품군별 무역수지 전망을 고려한 결과, 기술수준 중 및 고 기술제품의 가상수 수출량이 2020년에는 2010년에 비해 약 3배 증가하는 것으로 산정하였다. 이와 같은 방법으로 산정된 산업별 가상수는 각 산업의 물 사용량을 추정하고 산업 전반의 수자원 활용도를 파악하는데 이용 가능하다. 더불어 국제 환경 및 기후변화가 반영된 가상수 시나리오 연구를 통해 장래 용수 수요변화예측 등 효과적인 물 관리 정책 수립에 기여할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to synthesize intervention studies, which utilized single case experimental design, on teaching mathematical word problems for elementary school students with disabilities and evaluate each of their methodological rigor. The researchers reviewed all studies from 2000 to 2022 that involved teaching mathematical word problems to individuals with disabilities. A total of 12 studies was included for a final analysis. Most of the interventions were delivered by researchers for about 30-40 minutes per session to elementary school students with disabilities. Schema-based instruction, cognitive-metacognitive strategy, and technology-based instruction were used as intervention methods, and explicit instruction was mostly used in conjunction with them. On the other hand, the researchers found that none of research articles met quality indicators for single case experimental design according to Cook et al. (2015). Limitation and directions for future research were also discussed.

The directions of recent library construction and operation reflect people's changed lifestyle and suggest innovative spaces specialized on the basis of the local environment. Hence, as the goals of the operation of (tentatively named) Songdaeso Library to be constructed within the Hantangang River UNESCO Global Geopark, this study proposes 'acting as complex cultural facilities,' 'operating stay-type reading culture space which is a shrine for workcation,' and 'acting as the landmark of A-gun (郡, county).' And this study works out strategies for its operation, which includes 'securing the validity of the construction of (tentatively named) Songdaeso Library,' 'linking to library policy as the driving force behind its operation,' and 'demonstrating the necessity for the existence of the library arising from the operation of the geological specialized library through landscape architecture.' It also presents concomitant operating plans, which are categorized into plans for manpower, library books, services, and budget.

This study proposes a method for utilizing flight and flow - information for a collaborative environment (FF-ICE) for flight plan management based system wide information management (SWIM) technology for the safe and efficient operation of urban air mobility (UAM). SWIM provides a standardized infrastructure for air traffic data, enabling seamless information exchange among various stakeholders. This study purposed flight plan procedures for UAM operation regarding submitting preliminary and filed flight plans, validation and operational evaluation processes, state management, and the roles of each stakeholder. The system developed through the SWIM infrastructure for low-density urban air mobility traffic management. The study are expected to significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of UAM operations through strategic flight plan management methods.
