An Analysis on the Responses and the Behavioral Characteristics between Mathematically Promising Students and Normal Students in Solving Open-ended Mathematical Problems (수학 영재교육 대상 학생과 일반 학생의 개방형 문제해결 전략 및 행동 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the responses and the behavioral characteristics between mathematically promising students and normal students in solving open-ended problems. For this study, 55 mathematically promising students were selected from the Science Education Institute for the Gifted at Seoul National University of Education as well as 100 normal students from three 6th grade classes of a regular elementary school. The students were given 50 minutes to complete a written test consisting of five open-ended problems. A post-test interview was also conducted and added to the results of the written test. The conclusions of this study were summarized as follows: First, analysis and grouping problems are the most suitable in an open-ended problem study to stimulate the creativity of mathematically promising students. Second, open-ended problems are helpful for mathematically promising students' generative learning. The mathematically promising students had a tendency to find a variety of creative methods when solving open-ended problems. Third, mathematically promising students need to improve their ability to make-up new conditions and change the conditions to solve the problems. Fourth, various topics and subjects can be integrated into the classes for mathematically promising students. Fifth, the quality of students' former education and its effect on their ability to solve open-ended problems must be taken into consideration. Finally, a creative thinking class can be introduce to the general class. A number of normal students had creativity score similar to those of the mathematically promising students, suggesting that the introduction of a more challenging mathematics curriculum similar to that of the mathematically promising students into the general curriculum may be needed and possible.

  • For a public library. which is a regional information service agency. to acquire high competitiveness, preparation for uncertainties of future through understanding its own internal strengths and weaknesses. and external opportunities and threats based on assessments regarding knowledge information environment and characteristics of regional community. current status of the library, etc. Therefore. in this study, through SWOT analysis. one of competitive strategy analysis methods, the status of competitive strategy of C library was analyzed. In order to carry out the study interview and survey were performed with professional librarians, then through final consultations from management consulting experts, a plan to strengthen competitiveness for C library was devised. Conclusions from this study were as below. In order to strengthen competitiveness of C library offering distinguished high quality services through active cooperations with external institutions, efforts to improve library's position and stand following being selected as a library to visit for 2006 World Library and Information Congress, and revitalization of library usage through providing user oriented differentiated services are needed.

The Effects of Team-Based Learning(TBL) for Edutainment Activation in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 에듀테인먼트 활성화를 위한 팀기반학습(TBL) 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of team-based learning(TBL) program on problem solving ability, self-directed learning and learning motivation of nursing students in a adult nursing course. Methods: This study was quasi-experimental study by using nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Participants were 132 nursing students consisting of each experiment group 66 and control group 66. The experiment group was provided TBL program for 2 hours per session during 6 sessions and control group was provided lecture. Data were collected by questionnaires from April 20 to June 19, 2018. Data was analyzed by a chi-square test, t-test and ANCOVA using IBM SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The mean scores of problem solving ability(F=9.179, p=.003), self-directed learning(F=7.447, p=.007) and learning motivation(F=7.974, p=.006) were significantly higher in experiment group than those in control group. Conclusion: TBL program in a adult nursing course was effective in problem solving ability, self-directed learning and learning motivation of nursing students.

  • 본 논문에서는 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 문제점에 대한 대안으로 구성주의 이론을 바탕으로 한 PBL을 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육에 적용하여 학습자의 컴퓨터 활용 능력 수준에 따라 문제 해결 과정에 미치는 영향을 분석해 보았다. PBL 모형에 따라 초등학교 3학년 즐거운 컴퓨터 내용 중 3단원 소프트웨어의 활용의 내용을 재구성하여 실험처치 하였다. 실험 결과 문제 해결 과정에 있어서 문제의 이해 단계와 해결책 고안 단계에는 PBL이 컴퓨터 활용 능력 상위 수준의 학습자에게, 해결책의 평가 단계에는 컴퓨터 활용 능력 하위 수준의 학습자에게 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Effect of Students' Pre-motivation and Class Related Factors on Class Evaluation in e-Learning (e-러닝에서 학습자의 사전동기와 수강관련 요인이 강의평가에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find student factors associated with the students' evaluation of university teaching, and to provide a meaningful reference to policy-making of teaching evaluation. Based on the surveyed questionnaires from 232 students who participated in e-learning course. in combination with applying descriptive statistics, this study analyzes (1) the influences of students' pre-motivation level of student based-on ARCS theory on class satisfaction, (2) the influences of students' grade, attendance, and class involvement on class satisfaction, and (3) the influences of e-learning experience on students' pre-motivation level and class satisfaction. Result of this study shows that: (1) students' pre-motivation level including Attention(A), Relevance(R), Confidence(C), and Satisfaction(S) is positively correlated to students' evaluation for teaching, (2) students' grade, attendance. and class involvement are positively correlated to students' evaluation for teaching, and (3) students' e-learning experience is not related with students' pre-motivation level, whereas it is related with class satisfaction.

  • 강우-유출 모형을 수행하기 위해서는 지표면의 성질을 나타내는 보조 자료로서 식생피복자료, 토양분포, DEM 등이 주어지는데, 이러한 인자들이 흐름을 지배하게 되므로 중요하다. 그러므로 강우-유출 모형에서는 지표에서의 식생을 적절하게 나타내 줄 필요가 있는데, 최근의 원격 탐사 기술이 하나의 대안으로 제시되어 왔으며 식생 정보는 2차원 디지털 지도로 작성되어 수치모형에서는 이 디지털지도로부터 조도계수의 값을 전환하는 다단계 방법을 이용하여 오고 있다. 그러나 강우-유출 모형의 격자 간격이 식생 피복을 나타내기 위한 디지털 지도의 격자 간격과 항상 일치하는 것이 아니고 디지털 지도의 격자 간격이 일반적으로 더 세밀하므로 강우-유출 모형에서 디지털 지도를 이용하기 위해서는 적당한 방법의 스케일 확장 (up-scaling)이 필요하며, 이 연구에서는 질량 보존의 법칙을 사용하여 이론적 기반에 근거한 하나의 전략적인 방법이 제시된다. 이 연구의 목적은 강우-유출 모형의 수행 시 이질성을 보이는 지표면에서 식생과 관련된 매개변수를 통합/확장 처리하는 하나의 기법을 대기모형에서 이미 제시된 방법을 모사하여 제시함으로써 이질성을 보이는 지표면의 처리할 때 방향을 설정해 주고자함이다.

  • 암호화 기술을 응용한 저작권 관리 기술들은 저작권자가 대가를 지불한 사용자에게만 사용권한을 줄수 있어 좀 더 적극적인 저작권 보호 기술이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 저작권 관리(DRM) 소프트웨어의 사용성 품질을 평가하기 위해 시험 메트릭을 제안하였으며, 품질 평가는 디지털 저작권 관리 소프트웨어의 품질 향상을 유도할 수 있는 기술로서 국제 표준을 수용하는 전략기술 개발을 통해 객관성과 활용도를 높일 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 포항제철의 사례를 바탕으로 사용중인 중역정보시스템(EIS: Executive Information System. 이하 "EIS"라함)을 보다 효과적으로 개선하 기 위한 새로운 방법을 소개한다. 제시되는 전략적 분석 모델은 중역, 정보 제공 책임자, 비서진, 기존의 소프트웨어 트래킹을 주요 정보 제공원으로 하 며 단계를 결정한다. 각 단계에서는 과거 정보요구분석을 실시한 방법들의 효과성을 평가하고 새로운 방법들을 제시한다. EIS가 개발 의도와는 달리 사 용 빈도는 줄어들고 있는 추세를 보이는 경우가 많아 올바른 정보요구 도출 방법이 요구되고 있다. 사용자인 중역으로부터 정보요구를 잘 도출할 수 있 는 방법들이 적용 상에 많은 어려움을 보이고 있고 이에 대한 연구가 중요 함에도 불구하고 관련 연구가 부족한 형편이다. 그러므로 본 연구는 EIS의 개발 또는 개선의 경우에 있어서 중역의 정보요구사항을 명확히 정립하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 수 있을 것이다.

  • Joined WTO, China has revised or removed continuously some of existing enter barriers which have been protecting Chinese distribution market. Chinese government intend to open completely it's distribution market in 2007. Such as the open policy of Chinese distribution impact on Korean firms which invest in China. in order to occupy China's market, Korean firms needs to prepare counterplan on change of China's distribution environments. China's distribution environment is uncertain on account of remaining communism system even though opening it's distribution market. The purpose of this paper is to suggest diverse counterplan of Korean firms and answer how Korean firms can enter the China's distribution market successfully. through exmaninig how China's distribution channel is formulated and implemented. this study exhibits a model for strategy of Korean firms and shows implementations schemes.

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Cyber-Education (효과적인 가상강의를 위한 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • As the Internet spreads into every corner of our lives, the paradigm of education has changed. With this change, many educational institutions, including universities and companies formed a consortia to provide cyber-education. Currently there are 9 such institutions that are approved by the Korean government to grant degrees to the qualified learners. But, the educational environment of them seems to be in bad shape, the quality of education is questionable. So, in this paper we first surveyed the literature to determine the potential factors that affect the effectiveness of cyber-education and then we analyzed the questionnaire prepared to investigate the relationship between those factors and effectiveness. We hope the findings from this study provide some insights into how the effectiveness of cyber-education can be strengthened.
