이소플라본을 투여한 난소절제 흰쥐 대퇴골의 생체역학적 분석 (The Biomechanical Characteristics of Isoflavone-Treated Ovariectomized Rat's Femur)

  • This study was to investigate the biomechanical characteristics of isoflavone-treated ovariectomized growing rat's femur. 4-week-old Wistar (female rats were randomly divided into 5 groups and assigned to sham(SH) group, and four ovariectomized groups consisting of one ovariectomized(OVX) group and genisetin(10 mg/kg b.w. )(OVX+G), daidzein(10 mg/kg b.w.)(OVX+D), and 17 $\beta$-estradiol(10 $\mu$g/kg b.w.)(OVX+ES) in AIN-76 modified diet for 8 weeks. The OVX groups gained more body weight than the SH group. Femoral weight was increased by feeding genistein and estradiol, whereas femoral length among groups was not significantly different. The breaking farce, stiffness, deformation, and energy values of the OVX group were lower than those of other groups. The stress, strain, and Young's modulus values of the OVX group were higher than those of other groups.

화재 패턴 인식을 위한 학습 알고리즘 (Learning algorithm for flame pattern recognition)

  • 본 논문에서는 화재의 화재를 검출 하기 위한 시스템 및 화재 패턴을 인식하는 소프트웨어적 학습 알고리즘을 소개한다. 화재의 패턴 이라 함은 일반적으로 인식하는 불에 대한 주기적이고 일관적인 패턴을 나타내며 이를 정의 하여 소프트웨어적으로 처리 하고자 함이다. 또한 이에 대하여 학습은 일정 패턴에서 일부 벗어나더라도 이를 불로서 인식하기 위한 알고리즘으로 화재에 대한 정의 알고리즘을 통하여 스스로 패턴을 기억하고 스스로 화재를 인식 할 수 있도록 하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 화재 검출용 학습 알고리즘은 기존 알고리즘 보다 정확하고 신속히 검출 능력을 키우기 위한 방법이며 정확한 위치 탐지와 초기단계에서 검출이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 또한 우리는 실험 결과를 통해 성능 향상을 위한 방법을 도출하였으며 이를 적용하여 조기 경보시스템으로서의 타당성을 보여 주었다.

ECR 산소 플라즈마를 이용한 저온 열산화 (Low Temperature Thermal Oxidation using ECR Oxygen Plasma)

  • Characteristics of electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma thermal oxide grown at low-temperature have been investigated. The effects of several process parameters such as substrate temperature, microwave power, gas flow rate, and process pressure on the growth rate of the oxide have been also investigated. It was found that the plasma density, reactive ion species, is strongly related to the growth rate of ECR plasma oxied. It was also found that the plasma density increases with microwave power while it decreases with decreasing O2 flow rate. The oxidation time dependence of the oxide thichness showed parabolic characteristics. Considering ECR plasma thermal oxidation at low-temperature, the linear as well as parabolic rate constants calculated from fitting data by using the Deal-Grove model was very large in comparison with conventional thermal oxidation. The ECR plasma oxide grown on (100) crystalline-Si wafer exhibited good electrical characteristics which are comparable to those of thermal oxide: fixed oxide charge(N$_{ff}$)= 7${\times}10^{10}cm^{-2}$, interface state density(N$_{it}$)=4${\times}10^[10}cm^{-2}eV^{-1}$, and breakdown field > 8MV/cm.

철도신호시스템 병행운전(ATS/ATC)에 따른 ATS신호기 오동작개선 (Prevention of the Malfunction of the ATS Signaling System by Parallel Operation with ATC)

  • The performance requirements on the safety-based functionality of railway signal systems have been reinforced and the effort for enhancement of the existing system or development of the new system is being accordingly made. In particular, various technical researches on replacement or improvement of the existing ATS(Automatic Train Stop) signaling system are now in progress for better operational efficiency. In this study, the complementary points for improvement or replacement of the currently used system(i.e., ATS) will be derived in terms of operating efficiency in an integrated operating environment with the newly introduced system(e.g., ATC: Automatic Train Control). This study can contribute to derive the need for improvement of the signaling system by checking the interface problems and comparing between different systems through the analysis of real operation cases in the field. Eventually, this analysis can be applied to prevent and estimate the collision accidents can be caused by the failure of the signaling system in advance. In addition, the results can be used to provide a future direction to secure the reliability in the parallel operation by integration based on different railway signaling systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 적외선 열 영상 카메라를 기반으로 한 스마트 화재 탐지 및 자동소화 시스템의 구현에 관한 것으로 스마트 화재감지 시스템 및 화재 발생 시 이를 초기에 진화 할 수 있는 자동소화 장치 인터페이스 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 시스템 개발의 주요 기능은 열 영상 카메라와 메가픽셀 카메라를 기반으로 하는 화재 탐지 영상 시스템 및 뷰어; 화재 발생 시 초기에 화재를 진화 할 수 있는 자동소화 장치시스템; 영상 시스템과 자동소화 장치 시스템을 연결해 주는 인터페이스 플랫폼이다.

살모넬라균 검출을 위한 임피던스 바이오센서의 항체 고정화 방법 평가 (Evaluation of Antibody Immobilization Methods for Detection of Salmonella using Impedimetric Biosensor)

  • Conventional methods for pathogen detection and identification are labor-intensive and take several days to complete. Recently developed biosensors have shown potential for the rapid detection of foodborne pathogens. In this study, an impedimetric biosensor was developed for rapid detection of Salmonella typhimurium. To develop the biosensor, an interdigitated microelectrode (IME) was fabricated by using semiconductor fabrication process. Anti-Salmonella antibodies were immobilized based on either avidin-biotin binding or self assembled monolayer (SAM) on the surface of the IME to form an active sensing layer. To evaluate effect of antibody immobilization methods on sensitivity of the sensor, detection limit of the biosensor was analyzed with Salmonella samples innoculated in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) or food extract. The impedimetric biosensor based on SAM immobilization method produced better detection limit. The biosensor could detect 107 CFU/mL of Salmonella in pork meat extract. This method may provide a simple, rapid, and sensitive method to detect foodborne pathogens.

가시광선 및 근적외선 투과스펙트럼을 이용한 홍삼의 내부품질예측 (Internal Quality Estimation of Korean Red Ginseng Using VIS/NIR Transmittance Spectrum)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the internal quality of Korean red ginseng using VIS/NIR transmittance spectra. To classify the internal qualities, partial least squares(PLS) regression was conducted. The main results are as follows: To develop the PLS model, several wave bands were divided and incorporated into the model. Among the bands, the wavelength range of 550-1,020nm, excluded noise signal, showed the best evaluation results. Effect of step size on the performance of quality evaluation showed optimal at 15 steps. In order to enhance the accuracy of quality evaluation, the abnormal spectrum shape was considered first and then the PLS model was applied. Among the 150 samples, 12 samples were evaluated by the spectrum shape. In this study, to develop the optimal PLS regression model, among the 150 samples, 138 samples was used with exception of 12 samples which could evaluate the spectrum shape. The result of quality evaluation was promising as SEC and correlation coefficient were 1.09 and 0.967, respectively, and SEP and correlation coefficient were 1.04 and 0.958, respectively.

PRT 차량의 전력 공급시스템 개발 (A Development of the Electric Power Supply System for PRT Vehicle)

  • In this paper, the design of PRT vehicle power supply system is discussed. Since there is no power feeding line facilities in PRT system under development, the PRT vehicle must have its own energy storage device on board. For the energy storage device, ultra-capacitor bank is applied due to its fast charging capability and long life time. Charging the Ultra-capacitor bank is performed by wireless inductive power transfer system. The capacitor bank is charged up in less than 10 seconds when the vehicle is traveling by passenger stations. In this paper the design of the ultra-capacitor bank and the wireless inductive power transfer system for the PRT vehicle are discussed. Tests are conducted for the both system and the result shows the efficiency of the wireless inductive power transfer system is higher than 80%.

환원-확산법에 의한 Sm-Fe-N계 자성분말 제조 (Synthesis of Magnetic Powder in the Sm-Fe-N System by the Reduction-Diffusion Process)

  • In the present study, the reduction-diffusion method was employed to produce Sm-Fe alloy powder. It was confirmed that the amount of unreacted ${\alpha}-Fe$ in $Sm_2Fe_{17}$ matrix gradually decreased as the percentage of $Sm_2O_3$ increased. $Sm_2Fe_{17}$ single-phase powder was produced by the reduction-diffusion method with 40% excess $Sm_2O_3$. The Ca and Oxygen contents of the powder were approximately 300 ppm and 1600 ppm, respectively, after washing and acid treatment. By a subsequent nitrogenation, $Sm_2Fe_{17}N_x$ magnetic powders were produced. The coercivity of the powder increased with decreasing of the particle size by ball milling, and the highest coercivity of 2850 Oe was obtained after milling for 10 hours.

컨테이너형 ESS 화재방지를 위한 내부 응결점 개선 관한 연구 (Study on Improvement of Dew Point within ESS Container for Fire Prevention)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구에서는 제안되는 ESS 컨테이너 화재사고의 원인들에 대한 상관관계를 확인하였다. 연구방법: 이들의 개선에 필요한 컨테이너 내부의 환경개선을 통하여 컨테이너 화재사고의 저감 가능성에 대한 조사를 시행하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구를 통해 내 외부 온도차에 발생되는 수분응결 조건의 개선과 이를 통한 BMS board의 절연 내력의 변화가 있음을 확인하였다. 연구결론: BMS Board 응결과 절연 내력저하와의 상관 관계를 확인하였다.
