Analysis on Dynamic Change in Energy Poverty Structure using TIP curve (TIP 곡선을 이용한 에너지 빈곤구조의 동태적 변화 분석)

  • This study analyzed the dynamic changes in the energy poverty structure of all households, elderly households, and single-person households in Korea. To this end, a TIP curve was derived and the focus was on changes in energy poverty intensity and poverty incidence. For the data, annual and quarterly data on fuel costs from the National Statistical Office's Household Income and Expenditure Survey were used. And the results were presented using data from the first quarter, where the energy poverty problem can be prominent due to the high proportion of heating costs among the four quarters. As a result of the analysis, there was no clear improvement in poverty intensity and poverty incidence over time in the analysis of all households. However, the analysis of elderly and single-person households showed improvement in poverty intensity and poverty incidence over time. In particular, in the results of the analysis using the data for the first quarter, the poverty intensity and poverty incidence of elderly and single-person households improved remarkably. In addition, the poverty intensity and poverty incidence of the elderly and single-person households were larger than the all households, and the energy poverty of single-person households was more severe than that of the elderly households.

  • Accelerated strength testing is a available method for quality control of concrete. This paper presents the improved hot water ($70^{\circ}C$) methods and discusses how these methods can be adapted for predicting 28 day strength. The strength results have been analyzed by statistical techniques and correlation between early and 28 day strength are showed by prediction line. The test results show that the methods proposed in this paper are usable to predict the potential quality of concrete with low variation and good relationship between two strengths.

Determination of Proper Loading Speed for Deformation Strength Test of Asphalt Concretes (아스팔트 콘크리트 변형강도 시험에서의 적정 하중재하속도 선정 연구)

  • This study was carried out to select proper loading speed for deformation strength ($S_D$) of asphalt mixtures. Kim test using loading head of diameter(40mm) with radius(10mm) was conducted to measure $S_D$ in different loading speed (10mm/min, 30mm/min, 50mm/min, 70mm/min) and wheel tracking test was also conducted. The regression analyses between the So values and WT results were carried out by loading speeds. Higher $S_D$ was observed as increasing loading speed. This means that loading speed is a high influencing factor on $S_D$. The loading speed of 30mm/min was found as an optimum for better correlation with WT results than any other speeds from the regression analysis between $S_D$ and wheel tracking test results. $S_D$ value measured at other loading speed than 30mm/min has to apply the conversion coefficients.

Analysis of Bearing Capacity of Rock Socketed Pre-Bored Super Strength Piles Based on Dynamic Load Test Results (동재하시험을 통한 선단이 암반에 근입된 초고강도 매입 PHC 말뚝의 지지력 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of bearing capacity of pre-bored super strength PHC (SSPHC) piles socketed in rocks based on dynamic load test results. Because the SSPHC piles have high compressive concrete strengths compared with those of regular high strength PHC piles, the allowable structural strengths of the SSPHC piles were increased. For optimal design of the super strength PHC piles, the geotechnical bearing capacity of the SSPHC piles should also increased to balance the increased allowable structural strength of the SSPHC piles. Current practices of pile installation apply the same amount of driving energy on both SSPHC and high strength PHC piles. As results of analyzing factors that influence bearing strength of SSPHC piles using dynamic load test, there was no relationship between SPT-N value at pile toe and end bearing capacity. But driving energy effects on end bearing capacity. In case of skin friction, driving energy had no effects. And reasonable method verifying design bearing strength is necessary because end bearing capacity is not considered sufficiently in restrike test results.

Strength Prediction Equations for High Strength Concrete by Schmidt Hammer Test (슈미트 해머 시험에 의한 고강도 콘크리트의 강도 추정식)

  • For the assessment of exsiting concrete structures, it is important to get the real strength of concrete. The load test or core test has many problems due to cost time, easiness, structural damage, and reliability and so on. Thus, various non-destructive test and statistical analysis techniques for strength assessment have been developed. As a result the real strength of concrete can be obtained by both direct and indirect test. In this study, a series of experimental tests of core strength and Schmidt hammer tests on 3, 7, 14, 28, 90, 180, 365, and 730 days' were done for predicting the compressive strength of high strength concrete with 65.0MPa of 28-days' strength. Each experimental results was analyzed by simple regression analysis. Then, reliability level and error rate between the proposed equations and the existing ones was examined. However, the application of the exsisting equations was inadequate to high strength concrete, because they were conducted under normal strength concrete. Therefore, the following compressive strength equations were proposed for predicting the compressive strength of high strength concrete by Schmidt hammer test. The proposed equations by Schmidt hammer test are as follows.

  • 프리텐션 방식 원심력 고강도콘크리트 말뚝이 KS F4306 규격에 제정되어 콘크리트의 압축강도가 800kg/$ extrm{cm}^2$ 이상의 제조가 불가한 실정이 것으로 평가 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고강도콘크리트 말뚝 제조에 적용하기 위한 고황산염 시멘트의 실험적 연구로써 석고계 첨가량 및 단위 시멘트량 변화가 증가양생 콘크리트의 제 강도 특성에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과로부터 석고첨가량이 증대하면 콘크리트강도가 향상되지만, 7.5% 이상 첨가시에는 오히려 강도 저하현상이 나타나는 것으로 분석되었으며, 특히 단위 시멘트량 변화에 따른 압축강도 영향은 그다지 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 최고 압축강도 발현은 석고첨가량 5~7.5% 첨가와 단위시멘트량 500~540kg/㎥ 조건에서 800kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 이상의 고강도 콘크리트 제조가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper of ka band satellite communication using geostationary satellite is very weak to rainfall. So the rain attenuation reflect the values calculated using the satellite communication links vulnerable when designing a more reliable rainfall area distribution of rain attenuation and accurate predictive models must analyze the link budget. In this paper, by utilizing domestic distribution analysis in the recent local rainfall Crane and regional rainfall in the model and compared with the country of the regional distribution of rainfall in your area to fit the rain attenuation in Ka band frequency characteristics Crane rain attenuation prediction models were analyzed to between geostationary satellites and ground station position, distance and year time percentage(%).

  • Effective handover decision is important for providing seamless services to mobile users. In this paper, we propose an analysis framework to evaluate the performance of handover decision based on received signal strength (RSS) measurements in terms of the late notification and false alarm probability. In our framework, we consider mobility of a mobile user, signaling delays for exchanging messages related to handover protocols, cell sizes and RSS measurement interval to stabilize RSS reading due to random measurement errors. By quantitatively scrutinizing the impact of each parameter on the late notification and false alarms, we suggest the research directions for effective handover decision mechanism that may provide fast and reliable handover.

Correlation between SPME-GC Analysis and the Aroma Intensity for Ginseng Volatiles (SPME-GC를 이용한 인삼의 향분석과 관능강도와의 상관관계)

  • Ginsengs grown fur six years at different locations were harvested and prepared for white and red ginsengs. These fresh, white, red, and other ginsengs purchased from domestic and foreign countries were analyzed for their volatile compounds by solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography (SPME-GC) and SPME-GC/mass spectrometery (MS). The intensity of the ginseng volatiles perceived by nose was also measured in order to correlate the intensity with the corresponding GC analysis. Good correlations were obtained between the GC peak area and the degree of intensity evaluated by sensory panelists, indication that a reliable and objective evaluation of the aroma intensity of ginsengs by a simple GC analysis is possible.

  • 환경문제에 대한 관심으로 자동차에 대한 경량화가 요구되는 동시에 안전규제가 강화 되고 있어, 높은 인장강도를 가지는 고강도 강의 차체 적용 비율이 점차 증가하고 있다. 또한, 자동차 1대를 조립하기 위한 저항 점용접 횟수를 줄이고, 용접부에 충격안정성을 확보하기 위한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 따라서, 국내 자동차 산업에서 용접부의 신뢰성을 보장하기 다양한 비파괴 검사를 적용하고 있으며, 생산 공정에 적용하고 있다. 그중에서 용접 전극 사이에서 동저항(Dynamic resistance, 용접 공정중모재의 저항값의 변화)을 계측하여 용접성을 평가하는 방법이 제시되고, 차체 조립공정 중에 적용하려는 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 차체용 냉간 압연강판(590MPa dual-phase steel)을 인버터 DC 저항 점 용접하여, 용접전극 사이에서 동저항을 측정 하였다. 용접성은 인장전단 강도로 평가하였고, 용접 공정 변수는 용접 전류, 용접 시간, 가압력을 선정하였다. 동저항 그래프의 ${\alpha}$-peak와 ${\beta}$-peak값을 인장전단 강도에 따라 회귀 분석하여, 동저항에 따른 인장전단 강도를 예측하였다. 추가적으로, 용접부의 외관 형상 중에 압흔 깊이와 압흔자국 지름에 대한 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 용접부 형상에 대한 신뢰성을 부여하였다.
