This study examined whether there are differences in the empathic ability and emotional intelligence by college students' counseling course-taking experience and major. The research subjects were 313 college students, and an independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan post-hoc test were conducted for hypothesis testing. A difference in empathic ability was observed according to the students' sex, major, and counseling course-taking experience. A difference in emotional intelligence according to their sex and counseling course-taking experience was noted. Empathic ability was higher in females than in males, higher in the school of social sciences than in the school of science and technology, and higher in those who had counseling education than in those who did not. Emotional intelligence was higher in women than in men, and higher in students who had counseling education than in those who did not. Consequently, the effectiveness of counseling education was confirmed. On the other hand, a limitation of theoretical education was found in that there was no difference in emotional intelligence according to the major. Although empathic ability can be improved by education, the current curriculum has not improved it. This study has significance that it emphasizes the need for supplementing the curriculum, like practice or utilizing art media.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emotional labor behavior of employee at geriatric long-term care(LTC) facilities on job burnout and service quality focusing on the emotional leadership of superior to improve the working environment of LTC employee and provide the high-quality service to seniors. First, it is appeared that between emotional labor behaviors deep acting has a negative effect on job burnout, in contrast surface acting has a positive effect on job burnout. and, emotional labor behavior has positive influence on service quality. Second, self efficacy has partial mediating effect of tangibility, reliability, assurance and empathy on service quality only for the deep acting between emotional labor behaviors. Third, between emotional labor behavior, emotional leadership has moderating effect on emotional depletion and deterioration of personal accomplishment. In contrast, moderating effect of emotional leadership is not appeared on surface acting and depersonalization. In conclusion, further study is required to improve service quality of elderly in LTC facility and working environment of LCT facility workforce.

The study is a descriptive research to determine relationships between variables: perceived parenting attitude of nursing students, emotional intelligence, problem-solving ability and look at the effect of perceived parenting attitude on emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability of nursing students. We collected 134 data nursing students who are attending J university in C do and analyzed 126 data of them using the SPSS/WIN 22.0 version. The study period lasted two weeks, going from Nov 29 to Dec 13, 2021. The factor influencing emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability of perceived parenting attitude is emotional warmth attitude(B=.349, p=.001),(B=.255, p=.018) with 25.1%, 22.3% of the total explanatory power. It will need to be informed that emotional warmth attitude of perceived parenting attitude when educating for parents is a important factor to improve emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability of children who are future nurses and be used it as a basic data of parenting education for a desirable parental role.

Recently, the research on ICT (Information and Communication Technology), which cognizes and communicates human's emotion through information technology, is increasing. For instance, there are researches on phones and services that perceive users' emotions through detecting people's voices, facial emotions, and biometric data. In short, emotions which were used to be predicted only by humans are, now, predicted by digital equipment instead. Among many ICT researches, research on emotion recognition from face is fully expected as the most effective and natural human interface. This paper studies about sensitivity ICT and examines mechanism of facial expression recognition system as an example of sensitivity ICT.

Recently, interest in emotional technology has escalated and its application has extended to many fields, from both an industrial (product) and service (culture, tourism, medical, education, advertising) perspective. Moreover, culture has become a fundamental aspect of modern industry, playing key roles in: gaming, exhibitions, performances, sports, tourism, design, edutainment, as well as various content distribution industries. The prospect of applying emotional technology for cultural content industries makes up for more than half of the 'plan-manufacture-distribution-marketing' process, and thereby also serves as driving force for the growth of a nation. The primary objective of the following research is analyze successful cases from the past through utilization of emotional technology, and to speculate on efficient directions for future research into developing emotional contents. To achieve this, some of the key terms have been defined and elaborated for the sake of clarity. The terms are as follows: emotion, emotion engineering, science of emotion, emotional technology, and emotional contents. Furthermore, studies were conducted based on the six different fields surrounding CT R&D to observe how projects involving emotional technology have succeeded both on a national and global scale. Based on this analysis, this research aims to develop personalized 'Concierge' service-providing contents, contents designed to maximize performance ability of humans, and contents that could be controlled simply via emotion to effectively spread the culture of Korea by focussing on 'fusion' content development. The following research data may hopefully serve as a basic reference to industries navigating towards emotional content development.

As the social interest of the Baby Boomer generation is increasing, this study derives implications for lifelong education policy through identification of the need and support for lifelong education among baby boomers lifelong learning, taking into account such aspects of quality of life as emotional psychology-based self-development and self-realization. To optimally explore support for lifelong learning for the baby-boomer generation, first-tier (top-level), sixth-tier (bottom-level), and five-other evaluation criteria were available. For the first layer, we examined whether potentiality or realizability was more desirable, and for the second layer, detailed criteria for realizability were set up, dividing them into financial, legal, and administrative feasibility. A study conducted by experts on the policy priority analysis of Baby Boomers showed that their support for lifelong learning places a greater priority on its feasibility (the more feasible alternative) than desire (the more desirable option). Among the six criteria, lifestyle activities had high priority, and the relative importance of the five assessment alternatives for lifetime learning activities was shown to be higher for employment skills education (0.377), civil participation education (0.181), lifestyle activities (0.200), and 'lifetime activities' (06.11). These results are meaningful: they can help shape and refine the needs of lifelong education, assess their relative importance, and prepare basic data for lifelong learning policies for baby boomers who are about to enter their old age.

Learners in web-based learning environment have to keep a stronger will for their study than those in traditional learning environment. Here, this strong will can be told as learner's motivation which is emotional aspects. However, most web-based instructional designs have been based on learner's cognitive aspects. Therefore, this study focused on presenting the strategies for the design of emotional bulletin board and its concrete interfaces.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of a family nursing practicum using role play on emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance of nursing students. Methods: Role play training was provided to nursing students who took a community health nursing practicum (family nursing practicum). During the course for 2 weeks, participants were given role play practice for four times and a final test using role play at the end of the course. Data were collected from 52 nursing students before and after the family nurse practicum who agreed to participate in this study. Results: The scores of emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance at post test were enhanced significantly compared to the scores at pre test. Conclusion: Nursing educators in family nursing can consider role play to improve emotional intelligence and communication ability as well as family nursing performance.

최근 들어 로봇 기술은 팔과 다리가 달린 인간형 로봇 휴머노이드(Humanoid)와 같이 겉모습뿐만 아니라 히노애락(喜怒哀樂)과 같은 인간의 감정을 흉내 내는 지능형 감성로봇(Emotional robot)으로 진화하고 있으며, 사물인터넷(Internet of things, IoT), 빅데이터(Big data) 및 인공지능(Artificial intelligence, AI) 기술까지 융합하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 기술 발전을 기반으로 로봇산업은 전통적인 제조업뿐만 아니라 의료, 실버, 국방, 건설, 생활가전, 물류, 드론 등 다양한 분야에서 활용이 가능하며, 또한 교육, 문화, 예술에도 접목을 할 수 있어 넓은 분야에서 발전 가능성이 매우 큰 산업이다. 본 논문에서는 인간과 교감하는 감성로봇의 개념과 주요 기술을 소개한다. 아울러, 최근까지 연구 개발되었거나 제품으로 출시되었던 감성로봇 사례를 소개하고 향후 전망에 대해서 논의한다.

It is necessary to discover Korea's diverse traditional culture and publicize it to the world to continue the Korean Wave and develop it in a more positive direction. The present study proposes methods for publicizing little-known 'traditional Korean ceramic tableware' by focusing on Hansik, which is the most frequently published in the British Oxford Dictionary among Korean traditional cultures and can best represent Korean food. To this end, the present study measured cultural recipients' emotions regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware to derive the 'representative emotions felt regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware' as a method to reflect it in the design. First, the Delphi Technique was carried out based on 182 emotional vocabulary items collected from existing studies to create 33 groups of emotional vocabularies with similar concepts. In addition, among the emotional vocabularies included in each of the 33 groups, those of overlapping concepts were regrouped based on the characteristics of traditional Korean ceramic tableware, and the most appropriate emotional vocabularies were extracted and reduced to 75. A survey was carried out with 135 cultural recipients experienced with traditional Korean ceramic tableware to derive 32 representative emotions felt regarding traditional Korean ceramic tableware. Finally, from the results of a factor analysis of 32 representative emotions, this study classified vocabulary into six emotion categories including 'aesthetic, pleasure, freshness, ownership, satisfaction, and comfort'. The six emotion categories and 32 representative emotions derived from this study's results can be utilized to measure emotional levels felt by cultural recipients while using traditional Korean ceramic tableware.
