Information security auditing Framework in Industrial control system (산업제어시스템 정보보안 감리 프레임워크 연구)

  • Information technology have led to change the automation of large industrial control system as well as business system and environments. Industrial control system(ICS) is vital components of most nation's critical infrastructures such as electricity, natural gas, water, waste treatment, transportation and communication that are based of national security, safety of citizen and development of national economy According to the change of business environment, organizational management pushed integration all of the system include MIS and ICS. This situation led to use standard information technologies for ICS, this transition has been to expose ICS to the same vulnerabilities and threats that plague business system. Recently government obliged owners of the public information system to audit for safety, efficiency and effectiveness, and also obliged the owners of national infrastructure to improve their system security as a result of vulnerability analysis. But there doesn't prepare a security architecture and information security auditing framework of ICS fur auditing. In this paper, I suggested the security architecture and information security auditing framework for ICS in order to prepare the base of industrial system security auditing.

  • Requirements engineering can be seen as proceeding with various processes and activities such as extraction, analysis, specification, management, and verification without temporal and spatial constraints in the development environment of information systems that are becoming large and decentralized. Developing requirements well and conducting continuous evaluation and management is the shortcut to success in project management, and it is recognized as a very important matter in relation to requirements in the information system audit. When we conduct information system audit and conducting projects subject to audit, we need to improve the required engineering aspect. Therefore, this study derives inspection items suitable for the target project by referring to the audit inspection manual and audit inspection guide when conducting the current audit, and relates to the required engineering aspect among the contents of the inspection guide for each business type that is the basis for deriving the inspection items were derived for each audit point/audit area for the project management and quality assurance project type corresponding to the inspection items. The suitability of the extracted occupation items was verified through a questionnaire survey by experts.

Crafting a Quality Performance Evaluation Model Leveraging Unstructured Data (비정형데이터를 활용한 건축현장 품질성과 평가 모델 개발)

  • The frequent occurrence of structural failures at building construction sites in Korea has underscored the critical role of rigorous oversight in the inspection and management of construction projects. As mandated by prevailing regulations and standards, onsite supervision by designated supervisors encompasses thorough documentation of construction quality, material standards, and the history of any reconstructions, among other factors. These reports, predominantly consisting of unstructured data, constitute approximately 80% of the data amassed at construction sites and serve as a comprehensive repository of quality-related information. This research introduces the SL-QPA model, which employs text mining techniques to preprocess supervision reports and establish a sentiment dictionary, thereby enabling the quantification of quality performance. The study's findings, demonstrating a statistically significant Pearson correlation between the quality performance scores derived from the SL-QPA model and various legally defined indicators, were substantiated through a one-way analysis of variance of the correlation coefficients. The SL-QPA model, as developed in this study, offers a supplementary approach to evaluating the quality performance of building construction projects. It holds the promise of enhancing quality inspection and management practices by harnessing the wealth of unstructured data generated throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

  • 우리나라 공공건설공사에서 불필요한 행정업무·제도·환경 등을 개선하기 위해 발주기관은 건설현장 담당자를 통해 관련 개선사항들을 보고·취합하고 있다. 그러나, 현재 업무개선 노력들은 발주기관에서 건설현장으로 지시하는 수직구조로 되어 있어 업무개선결과에 대한 정보 공유와 활용이 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 건설현장 감리원들의 업무개선 아이디어를 온라인으로 평가하고 이를 전체 건설현장에 공유할 수 있는 창구를 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 국토해양부 지방국토관리청 및 관할 건설현장에서 사용중인 건설사업관리시스템에 개선 아이디어 평가·공유 기능을 구축하고자 한다.

  • In order to perform a successful outsourcing, we needs the SLA through improving the quality of IT services. In particular SLA metrics and evaluation criteria is an important factor as to substitute the IT viability of the company to promote IT Outsourcing. SLA metrics consist of technical, managerial, user perspective items, and has been managed to aim to provide reliable and continuous quality improvement of IT services. This study focuses on the HW availability metrics of SLA indicators of IT outsourcing. We propose the Infra availability criteria for the HW configuration level to meet the SLA contract and evaluation. We offer the Infra configuration standards of SLA contract, and propose criteria to determine the suitability of the target levels in IT operations audit environment. The proposed model was verified the necessity and effectiveness of the Infra configuration standards and operation audit check items through the surveys of experts and users.

  • Recently in information business, managing and auditing are getting more difficult because of enlargement, intellectualization and convergence. In addition, ordering organizations have been having a difficult time choosing a service because not only there is a huge overlap between information audit system and PMO but also the work boundaries of those two are not clear enough. As the demand that a business managing and auditing frame work need to be more developed in terms of independence, quality, economic feasibility and responsibility has been increased, the Korea Association Of Information Systems Audit has been attempting to improve business management and audit system by proposing Unified Project Management Framework whose process is approximately constructed. This study introduces Unified Project Management Framework which is all-encompassing from the ordering at the very beginning of business to the operating in the post-processing step and then verifies its work scope through a comparative analysis with existing management systems. Also, this thesis examines the necessity of unification of audit system and PMO by analysing existing similar systems. At the end, this study, analyses the suitability of Unified Project Management Framework by evaluating it with IT goal frame of COBIT5 which is constructed based on BSC performance management index. The result of the analysis is expected to help people in charge understanding the features of Unified Project Management Framework before they apply it to practical business.

Project Failure Main Factors Analysis using Text Mining in Audit Evaluation (감리결과에 텍스트마이닝 기법을 적용한 프로젝트 실패 주요요인 분석)

  • Corporations should make efforts to recognize the importance of projects, identify their failure factors, prevent risks in advance, and raise the success rates, because the corporations need to make quick responses to rapid external changes. There are some previous studies on success and failure factors of projects, however, most of them have limitations in terms of objectivity and quantitative analysis based on data gathering through surveys, statistical sampling and analysis. This study analyzes the failure factors of projects based on data mining to find problems with projects in an audit report, which is an objective project evaluation report. To do this, we identified the texts in the paragraph of suggestions about improvement. We made use of the superior classification algorithms in this study, which were NaiveBayes, SMO and J48. They were evaluated in terms of data of Recall and Precision after performing 10-fold-cross validation. In the identified texts, the failure factors of projects were analyzed so that they could be utilized in project implementation.
