Bangladesh Employees Organizational Commitment and Antecedents (방글라데시 근로자의 조직몰입과 선행변수)

  • Abundance of low-wage labor resources, strategic location connecting East-West Asia and business professionals are fluent in English are strength of Bangladesh. Also the business environment changes in China such as the wage increases and labor regulations enhancement acts as searching for replacement of investment where Bangladesh is considered as substitute. At this point there is a need for research of Bangladesh employees at human resource management level. Therefore this study focus on the research of an important component of human resource management, organizational commitment. This study analysis the Bangladesh employees organizational commitment and its antecedent. This study consider four antecedents, role ambiguity, role conflict, voluntary participation and the work centrality and three organizational commitment, affective organizational commitment, continuous organizational commitment and normative organizational commitment. As results show, role ambiguity and role conflict has a negative influence on affective organizational commitment. And voluntary participation and work centrality give positive influence. Role ambiguity showed a negative effect on continuous organizational commitment, however role conflict show positive effect. Voluntary participation and work centrality showed positive effect on normative organizational commitment and role ambiguity showed negative influence. Results of this study give clue to understand Bangladesh employees organizational commitment and its relation among variables. And thus the need for appropriate management presented.

세금효과가 합병전략에 미치는 영향

  • 합병의 절세효과는 배당소득의 자본이득화, 소유구조강화의 비용철강, 합병교부주식의 액면가액과시장가치의 차이에 의한 배당소득세의 회피 가능성 등으로 발생한다. 그러나 합병에 청산소득법인세, 사업년도법인세 및 증여세 등의 증세효과도 존재한다. 순절세효과는 당해 회사의 조세상 특성에 따라 달라진다. 합병회사가 피합병회사의 이월결손금과 조세공제.감면혜택을 승계받을 수 없다. 조세적 특성의 승계단절을 우회하기 위하여 신설합병보다는 흡수합병의 형태가, 순합병보다는 역합병의 방식이 선호된다. 합병에서 임의평가증(任意評價增)의 세금효과는 여러 가지 요소에 의하여 결정되는 데. 순절세효과가 양,수일 경우는 흔치 않을 것이다. 합병비율의 조절을 통하여 소유구조변경과 증여효과를 얻을 수 있다. 합병비율조절의 유인은 증여세, 청산법인세 및 배당소득세 등의 증세효과와 원천징수의무에 의하여 감소한다. 특히, 청산법인세와 배당소득세는 실행합병비율이 1:1이 되도록 하는 요인이다. 증여유인과 증세효과로 주주집단간의 이해관계대립이 초래될 수 있다 이해갈등의 예방장치 또는 조정제도의 효율성은 실행합병비율과 공정합병비율의 괴리를 축소하는 요인이 될 것이다.

  • 최근 제조업체들은 비핵심업무인 물류관련 업무를 전문 업체에 위탁하는 물류 아웃소싱을 하고 있다. 이를 통해 기업들은 제품개발과 마케팅에 기업의 핵심역량을 집중하고, 물류 관련 비용을 절감하고 고객 서비스 수준을 제고할 수 있게 되었다. 최근에는 물류 아웃소싱이 파트너쉽을 바탕으로 한 공동소싱으로 발전되어가는 추세에 있다. 물류아웃소싱에 대한 사례연구는 향후 제조업체들이 물류아웃소싱을 하기 위한 전략을 수립하는데 있어서 좋은 가이드라인을 제시할 것으로 생각한다. 본 연구는 글로벌 물류기업인 UPS와 삼성전기 간의 4자물류 아웃소싱(4PL) 사례를 통해 4PL을 이해하고, 이와 관련된 주요 이슈를 파악하여 기업들이 물류아웃소싱을 하기 위한 협력 전략을 수립하는데 가이드라인을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 사례의 내용은 먼저 삼성전기와 UPS간의 물류 아웃소싱 추진배경과 진행과정을 살펴보았다. 그리고 물류 아웃소싱 과정에서 발생한 문제들을 조직차원의 문제, 경영진의 단기적인 안목, 양사의 문화적 차이, 정보시스템의 통합, 그리고 성과에 대한 인식 차이 등 5가지 차원에서 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 파악한 주요이슈들 측면에서 살펴본다면 물류 전문업체와 아웃소싱을 하고자 하는 제조기업들에게 많은 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

An Analysis of the US 3rd Offset Strategy (미국의 제3차 국방과학기술 상쇄전략에 대한 분석)

  • This thesis analyzes the backgrounds of the third offset strategy of the US Department of Defense. The key technology areas to be developed and the implications of the 3rd strategy are also examined. The potential great powers, China and Russia have catched up with US in the certain areas of military technologies. The technological superiority of US military is found to have been eroded. The US DOD needs a new defense policy called the 3rd offset strategy to meet this new challenge. The 5 basic technology areas were identified; learning machines, human-machine collaboration, machine-assisted human operations, human-machine combat teaming, and autonomous weapons. The 3rd offset strategy should be managed not to move to the new arms race with rivalries. The defense acquisition system also needs to be improved for the smooth flow of the advanced commercial technologies to the defense sector. Korea needs to figure out the possible technologies of co-research and development with US.

A Study on Antecedents of Ethical Leadership of Power Retailers, : Focusing on the Relationship between Discount Stores and Their Suppliers (대형 유통업체 윤리적 리더십의 선행변수에 관한 연구 : 할인점과 공급업체 간 관계를 중심으로)

  • With accumulated research evidence, there is little doubt that leadership behavior is related to a wide variety of positive individual and organizational outcomes. Indeed, leadership behavior has been empirically linked to increased employee satisfaction, organizational commitment, extra effort, turnover intention, organizational citizenship behavior, and overall employee performance. Although leadership behavior has been linked to a number of positive organizational outcomes, research regarding the antecedents of such behavior is limited. Especially there is little research dealing with the antecedents of inter-organizational leadership behavior. This study interests in inter-organizational ethical leadership among marketing channel members. In both the mass media and the academic association, there has been a surge in interest in the ethical and unethical behavior of leaders. Although the corporate scandals in recent years may explain much of the mass media and popular focus, academics' interest has been limited by evidence that ethical leadership behavior is associated with both positive and negative inter-organizational processes and performances. This study tried to contribute to this body of knowledge by examining antecedents of ethical leadership. Ethical leadership is defined "the demonstration of normatively appropriate conduct through personal actions and interpersonal relationships, and the promotion of such conduct to followers through two-way communication, reinforcement, and decision-making." Ethical leaders not only inform individuals of the behefits of ethical behavior and the cost of inappropriate behavior, such leaders also set clear standards and use rewards and fair and balanced punishment to hold followers accountable for their ethical conduct. Despite the assume importance and prominence of ethical leadership among organizations, there are still many questions relating to its antecedents and consequences. One is whether the likelihood of an leading organization being perceived as an ethical leader among other following organizations in marketing channels can be predicted using its characteristics and inter-organizational relationship maintenance skills. Identifying trait and skill antecedents will aid in the development of strategies for selecting and developing ethical leaders and determining the best means to reinforce ethical behaviors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of three categorized variables on ethical leadership of channel leader. To be concrete, this study develops a model of the antecedents of three conceptually distinct forms of channel leader characteristics, such as organizational traits, inter-organizational relationship maintenance strategies, and supplier management strategies, and tests the hypothesized differential effects on ethical leadership of marketing channel leaders. The reason why this study deals with discount store channel is that there is very strong inter-dependence between a discount store and its suppliers. Their strong inter-dependence makes their relationship as the relationship between a leader and suppliers and creates an atmosphere that leadership occur without difficulty. The research model is as follows. For the purpose of empirical testing, 295 respondents of suppliers of discount store channel in Korea were surveyed. The procedures included scale reliability, and discriminant and convergent validity were used to validate measures. Also, the reliability measurements traditionally employed, such as the Cronbach's alpha, were used. All the reliabilities were greater than .70. This study conducted confirmatory factor analyses to assess the validity of our measurements. All items loaded significantly on their respective constructs(with the lowest t-value being 15.2), providing support for convergent validity. We then examined composite reliability and average variance extracted(AVE). The composite reliability of each construct was greater than .70. The AVE of each construct was greater than .50. This study tested research model using Partial Least Square(PLS). The estimation of the structural equation model revealed an acceptable fit of the model to the data($r^2$=.851). Thus, This study concluded that the model fit was considered acceptable. The results of PLS are as follows. The results indicated that conscientiousness, openness, conflict management, social networks, training, fair reward had positive effects on ethical leadership of channel leaders. On the other hand, emotional insecure had negative effect and agreeableness, assurance, and inter-organizational communication had no significant effect on supply chain leadership.

디지털 기술 역량과 양손잡이 역량에 대한 연구: 디지털 리더십 역량의 매개효과 중심으로

  • 본 연구는 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 기업의 경쟁우위와 생존을 도모하기 위해 양손잡이 역량의 다양한 차원을 구현하고 기업수준의 혁신에 기여하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 디지털 기술의 이니셔티브인 디지털 기술 역량이 조직의 다차원(균형적, 결합된 차원)적 양손잡이 역량에 미치는 관계에서, 변환관리의 핵심 역량인 디지털 리더십 역량의 상세요인들(디지털 비전, 디지털 HR 스킬, 디지털 거버넌스, 협력방식)이 갖는 매개효과를 중심으로 검증하였다. 연구의 진행을 위해 국내 제조업과 ICT & 통신업에 종사하는 250명의 중소기업 관리자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 데이터를 활용하였으며, 연구방법으로는 R을 GUI 방식으로 구현한 오픈소스 통계 툴(Tool)인 Jamovi 2.3.26의 응용프로그램을 사용하여 회귀분석을 실시한다. 본 연구는, 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 조직 내 긴장을 관리하고 갈등을 해소하는 다차원 양손잡이 역량에 대한 운영방안과 리더십의 역할에 대한 기존지식의 범위를 확장하며, 조직이 속한 산업 환경과 처한 성황에 따라 적절한 양손잡이 역량과 리더십 역량을 사용할 수 있는 최적화된 방안을 제시한다. 또한 디지털 트랜스포메이션 맥락에서 조직이 양손잡이 역량을 도입하고자 할 때, 기술적 이니셔티브에 대한 투자도 물론 중요하지만, 리더십 역량이 가지는 세부요인 의한 양손잡이 역량을 달성함으로써, 더욱 효과적인 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 달성할 수 있다는 기여를 제공할 예정이다

Conflict Management in Family Pruchase Decision Making (가족구매의사결정에서의 갈등관리 전략에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate conflict management in family purchase behavior of urbanite by applying a systems approach. For this purpose, 230 questionnaire were distributed to the married men and women in Seoul. The 216 data were analyzed by Frequency, Percentile, Mean, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The result were as follows. 1) According to the type of goods, the level of marital conflict in purchase decision making had differences significantly 2) According to the type of goods and the level of conflict, conflict management had differences significantly. 3) According to the level of conflict and the basic environmental characteristics, purchase management satisfaction had differences significantly. Through these results, the applicability of systems approach to family purchase behavior was shown. Family purchase behavior could be understood in environmental suprasystem, with considering the relationship of subsystem's components.

  • The present study attempted to explore effective scanning and monitoring in process of risk management on agri-marine products distribution policy. The interest public's group interests clash in accordance with theme for issue on marking policy. For executing a better systematic scanning and monitoring on actual affairs of marketing, selecting information personnel, gathering and analysing information, issue and risk management and their valuation with ongoing and simultaneously. Especially, In order to explore effective scanning and monitoring as a model of risk management, the study attempted to analyze within and without environment of marketing, to analyze issue management strategy, to evaluate issue activity for likelihood and impact, risk cycle analysis, interest public's group concerned, grade of interest public's group threatened(power, legitimacy, willingness), rapport(staying close, credibility, meeting expectation). And the study make an ongoing observation progress of subjects, and the serious subjects need have made an close observation. The study suggested to establish friendly relationship between organization and interest public's group, and to regularly accomplish two-way symmetric communication.

An Empirical Investigation of Relationship Between Interdependence and Conflict in Co-marketing Alliance (공동마케팅제휴에 있어 상호의존성과 갈등의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • Researchers in channel dyads have devoted much attention to relationship between interdependence (i.e. interdependence enymmetry and total interdependence) and conflict that promote channel performance. In social science, in spite of the inconsistent results in marketing practice, there are two contradictory theories explain the relationship between interdependence and conflict - bilateral deterrence theory and conflict spiral theory. The authors apply these theories to co-marketing alliance situation in terms that this relationship is also incorporated both company's dependence, either from one company's perspective or each partner about its respective dependence. Using survey data and archival data from 181 companies enlisted in a telecommunication membership program, the authors find out the relationship between interdependence and conflict as well as investigate the antecedents of interdependence - transaction age, transaction frequency, the numbers of alliance partner, and co-marketing alliance specific assets according to previous researches. Using PLS analysis, the authors demonstrate that, with increasing total interdependence in a telecommunication membership program, two co-marketing partners' conflict level is increased in accord with the author's conflict spiral theory predictions. As expected, higher interdependence asymmetry has negative value to level of conflict even though this result is not statistically significant. Other findings can be summarized as follows. In the perspective of telecommunication company, transaction age, transaction frequency, and co-marketing alliance specific assets have influence on its dependence on a partner as independent variables. To the contrary, in a partner's perspective, transaction frequency, co-marketing alliance specific assets and the numbers of alliance partner have significantly impact on its dependence on a telecommunication company. In direct effect analysis, it is shown that transaction age, frequency and co-marketing alliance specific assets have direct influence on conflict. This results suggest that it is more useful for a telecommunication company to select a co-marketing partner which is frequently used by customers and earned high rates of mileage. In addition, the results show that dependence of a telecommunication company on a co-marketing partner is more significantly effected to co-marketing alliance conflict than partner's one. It provide an effective conflict management strategy to a telecommunication company for controling customer's usage rate or having the co-marketing partner deposit high level of alliance specific investment (i.e. mileage). To a co-marketing partner of telecommunication company, it is required control the percentage of co-marketing sales in total sales revenue or seek various co-marketing partners in order for co-marketing conflict management. The research implications, limitation and future research of these results are discussed.

  • The proportion of apartment housing has been increased to solve the housing problems resulted from rapid growth in urban population and urban economy. With the increase in apartment's proportions and the concern about quality of housing, the contractors have made efforts to satisfy the customers in improving the quality of housing. Despite these efforts, the conflicts between the contractor and the customers are getting serious. Also the disputes and the litigation of defect are increasing because of the contractor's negative treatment and inadequate countermeasure. In this study the defect lawsuits which bring actions against the contractors are collected and analyzed. And then the strategic countermeasures are proposed according to the classifying the type of defect and size. The suggested countermeasure model before the defects are resulted is expected to contribute in developing the contractors strategies to reduce the conflicts against customers.
