Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship among internal marketing, job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in nursing organizations in Korea. Methods: One hundred eighty six nurses recruited from 6 general hospitals in South Korea. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires and analysed by the SPSS WIN 11.0 program using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Nurses participated in the study reported medium levels of perceived internal marketing, job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Perceived internal marketing had significant negative correlation with job stress and turnover intention and significant positive correlation with organizational commitment. Employee's management philosophy was a significant predictor of job stress along with characteristics of hospital, and nurse's educational level ($R^2=$ .18). Working environment was a significant predictor of organizational commitment along with monthly income and job stress ($R^2=$ .31). Promotional strategies and communication style in the organization were significant predictors of turnover intention along with organizational commitment and job stress ($R^2=$ .31). Conclusions: This study suggest that future intervention study enhancing internal marketing would lead the positive changes in job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention.

Purpose: This study was done to analyze the relationship between organizational communication satisfaction and organizational commitment among hospital nurses. Method: A survey was conducted with 647 nurses who were working in 24 hospitals in Korea. Data were collected during August 2010. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression. Results: The mean level of organizational communication satisfaction was 3.15 (min 1.88 -max 4.88) and the mean level of organizational commitment was 3.21 (min 1.33 - max 4.83). There was a statistically significant correlation between organizational communication satisfaction and organizational commitment (r=. 655). According to analysis of the impact of the subconstructions of organizational communication satisfaction on organizational commitment, the following factors had significant influence on organizational communication satisfaction: vertical communication, communication media, and organizational climate. Conclusion: These findings showed that communication satisfaction was the most important factor for nurses' organizational commitment. Therefore, there is a need to develop communication strategies and skills for hospital nurses to increase the level of communication satisfaction.

Purpose: This study was done to investigate the factors affecting organizational commitment and turnover intention of hospital nurses. Empirical analysis on the mediating effect of the person-environment fit of organizational commitment and turnover intention and factors affecting this relationship were also examined. Methods: Participants were nurses working in 4 university hospitals in Seoul or Busan. Data were collected between July 27 and Aug. 10, 2012 and for the final analysis, 393 data sets were used. The fitness of models were tested using AMOS 19.0. Results: The fitness of the modified model showed high compatibility with the empirical data. In the modified model, organizational climate, professional self-concepts and person-organization fit were found to have significant effects on hospital nurses' organizational commitment. Professional self-concepts, personality, person-organization fit and person-job fit significantly affected hospital nurses' turnover intention. There was the mediating effect of person-organization fit between organizational commitment and turnover intention and factors affecting the relationship. But person-job fit was not found to have a mediating effect. Organizational commitment accounted for 49.8% and turnover intention for 39.9% of covariance in these factors. Conclusion: Nursing strategy for enhancing professional self-concepts and person-organizational fit should be planned by nursing managers.
보건 간호 사업은 독특하고 중요한 공헌을 하는 보건 간호원이 그 기관의 조직체 내에서 조화되어야 한다. 보건 간호원의 기능은 교육 정도와 경험에 의해서 선정된다. 어떤 보건 간호원은 다른 보건 간호원들이 보건 기관에서 관리자나 감독 혹은 강사 자격으로 일할 때 평 직원으로 기능할 수도 있다. 보건사업을 실시함에 있어서는 좋은 건강을 통하여, 보다 나은 생활수준을 향상시키기 위하여 팀으로서 목표 달성을 위하여, 계획을 세우고 그 발전과정을 평가함에는 계획서가 필요하다. 제한된 인원으로서 중요한 건강사업을 실행해야 되는 보건 간호원은 조직된 집단과 같이 일해야 된다. 당면한 보건 간호원의 기능 중 중요한 것은 환자의 건강 지도 및 훈련과 행정이 포함되고 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the canonical correlation between organizational culture and nurses' informatics competency. Method: Participants in this study were 354 nurses from three hospitals and one university. The scales of organizational culture, informatics competency for nurses were used. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, canonical correlation were used for data analysis. Results: The dominant organizational culture was hierarch-oriented culture. Nursing informatics competency of the participants was relatively low with a mean score 3.04. Organizational culture was related to informatics competency with 2 significant canonical variables. The first variate showed the higher four subcategories of organizational culture showed the better nursing informatics. The second variate indicated that nurses felt higher innovation-related and lower hierarch-related culture showed higher medical informatics-related software usage and computer related information management, lower perception of informatics and information search using internet. Conclusion: Organization culture has a major of impact on the success of information system use. Therefore, the continuous strategy for higher innovation-related organizational culture such as management support should be needed.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the mediating effects of job satisfaction between internal marketing and organizational commitment of nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals. Method: Data were collected from 208 nurses in 8 small and medium-sized hospitals and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, and structural equation model (SEM) with the PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs. Results: There were positive relationships among all three variables, internal marketing, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. There was a mediating effect of job satisfaction between internal marketing and organizational commitment. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that strategies which could enhance the job satisfaction of nurses should be developed by mangers in small and medium sized hospitals. Further study is needed on other factors which may influence nurses' job satisfaction and organizational commitment especially, in small and medium sized hospitals.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Knowledge Sharing on Innovative Behavior and Organizational Commitment in Clinical Nurses. Method: Data were collected from 305 nurses who had worked for over 2 years in 1 national university hospital using questionnaire and collected data was analyzed by the SPSS for Windows 12.0 program. Result: 1) The relationship of between Knowledge Sharing, Innovative Behavior and Organizational Commitment showed statistically significant positive correlation(r=.584, p=.000, r=.494, p=.000). 2) Knowledge Sharing appeared into a most important predictor in Innovative Behavior of Nurses, and then was working field, position in order(p=.000). All of these variables explained 39.3% of Innovative Behavior. 3) Knowledge Sharing appeared into a most important predictor in Organizational Commitment of Nurses, and then was duration of working, working field in order(p=.000). All of these variables explained 35.1% of Organizational Commitment. Conclusion: To increase Innovative Behavior and Organizational Commitment of Nurses, we will have to activate Knowledge Sharing.

Purpose : The purpose of this study investigated the relationship between nurses' organizational commitment and their demographic characteristics. Method : The sample for this study consisted 356 nurses from 6 hospital at Seoul and Kyung Gi province, in Korea The Organizational Commitment Questionnaire developed by Mowday was used. The Pearson correlation coefficient, Tukey's Studentized Range Test were used for the statistical analysis by SAS program. Result : The Study was found that 1) The mean of nurses' Organizational Commitment was 3.01. 2) The Organizational Commitment was positive correlation with age, career and position of the whole nurses, but it was different from each hospital. 3) There was significant positive correlations among nurses' age, career, position and organizational commitment of nurses. 4) But the correlations between nurses' organizational commitment and religion, marrital status, nurses' age, career, position were different from each hospital. Conclusion : Therefore before each hospital want to improve it's own nurses' organizational commitment, hospital managers have to find factors which influence to the nurses' organizational commitment directly, indirectly.

Purpose: This study was to identify of the relationship of self-directed learning with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Method: The subjects were 247 nurses who were working for the 5 of hospitals in Seoul, Daejeon and Kyong Ki. This study was conducted from Sep to Dec 2006. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficients. Result: The self-directed learning was influenced significantly by the last school career, married state and job career. The job satisfaction was influenced significantly by job career. The organizational commitment was influenced significantly by age and job career. The self-directed learning is related with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Conclusion: The findings indicated that the self-directed learning of nurses is important factor for improving job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore it may be necessary further to develop the self-directed learning training program for efficiently nurse's education.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of organizational justice and dispositional affectivity on job satisfaction and intent to leave among nurses. Methods: The sample of this study consisted of 274 nurses from 2 general hospitals located in Incheon. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and were analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Distributive and interactional justices had positive impacts on nurses' job satisfaction. Distributive, procedural and interactional justices had negative impacts on nurses' intent to leave. It was found out that positive affectivity significantly moderated the effect of interactional justice on job satisfaction while dispositional affectivity did not significantly moderate the effect of organizational justice on the intent to leave. Conclusion: The results imply that hospital administrators should pay attention to the dispositional affectivity of nurses to increase their job satisfaction. Further, hospital needs to maintain organizational justice to reduce nurses' turnover.
