This study evaluates the need of nursing (NN) and satisfaction on nursing service (SNS) in patients and nurses. Questionnaires were completed by 105 patients and 105 nurses in one hospital. The mean score of NN was $3.73{\pm}0.76$ for patients and $3.88{\pm}0.60$ for nurses (t=9.23, p<.001). The top score came from cure territory, while the lowest from physical territory in both patients and nurses. The mean score of SNS was $3.35{\pm}0.74$ for patients and $3.31{\pm}0.44$ for nurses (t=3.88, p<.001). The top score came from cure territory, while the lowest from physical territory in both patients and nurses. When NN and SNS are compared, the score of NN was higher than that of SNS in both patients (t=3.77, p<.001) and nurses (t=9.23, p<.001). As a result, they provided unsatisfactory nursing services, although nurses worked hard to improve them. Nurse administrators should develop strategies and apply them.

Conclusion: In order to effectively conduct infertility care for the infertility patients, it is necessary for nurses in charge of infertility health services to understand clear concept and objective of it.
The purpose of this study is to identify the educational status, e,ducation needs and competencies of nurses in the regional trauma intensive care unit. This study used a job demand-resources model as the basis to examine the effects of job demand and job resources on health problems and turnover intention. A total of 320 nurses who were employed at university hospitals in Seoul participated in the study. The results showed that job demand and job resources had a direct effect on the levels of work burnout and work engagement. Work burnout had a direct effect by increasing the levels of health problems and turnover intentions of nurses; conversely, work engagement had no direct impact on either of the two levels. Job demand and job resources had an indirect effect on increased levels of health problems and turnover intention. The results can be used by hospital administrations to confirm the organizational significance of job resources in increasing job performance and work involvement, as well as to understand the consequences of perceived job demand by nurses.
This study was conducted to compare and analyze occupational stress and satisfaction levels of the nurses in two different units to provide data for effective nursing resource management. Survey was conducted in four hospitals in June 2019 and data was obtained from 62 nurses in comprehensive nursing service units (CNSU) and 62 nurses in general units (GU). CNSU nurses had higher level of job satisfaction than GU nurses. Contributing factors included pay, professional status, administration, autonomy, task requirements, and interaction. Job stress level was not significantly different between groups. GU nurses had higher stress levels from nursing practice, conflict with doctors, and patients and caregivers, while CNSU nurses had higher stress levels in working condition. Negative correlation was found between job satisfaction and stress in GU nurses, whereas not in CNSU nurses. Clear definition of task, smaller work load, appropriate reward, and educational support is suggested to enhance job satisfaction.

The study was aimed to identify the educational needs for gerontological nursing using the nursing diagnosis classification of hospital nurses. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 245 nurses who had experience caring for older patients within 1-year at two nurse web cafes. As a result of the study, 43 nursing diagnoses were classified into 6 areas: acute care, daily life care, education and counseling, environment and resource management, health promotion, and geriatric disease management. Nursing educational needs differed according to the age, sex, marital status, education level, size of the hospital, and working experience of the nurse. In order to effectively perform nursing care for the elderly and geriatric patients, it may be necessary to investigate the needs of continuous education and develop a detailed education program.
