Survey on the nursing education (1977년도 간호교육실태조사)

  • 본 조사를 1977년 7월부터 11월까지 전국 52개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 질문지에 의하여 간호교육기관의 교육 실태를 분석 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국의 간호교육기관 수는 대학과정 14개교(대학 2개교, 간호학과 12개교), 전문학교 37개교, 간호학교 1개교 이었다. 설립별로 분류하여 보면 국립은 9개교, 공립은 16개교, 사립은 27개교이었다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관의 재학생 수는 10,882명이었고 대학과정에 2908명, 전문학교과정에 7,974명이었다. 총 재학생중 남학생 수는 53명이었다. 3. 1977년도 졸업생 수는 총 3,097명으로 11월 현재 취업율은 78.8$\%$ 미취업율은 21.2$\%$을 나타내고 있다. 4. 전국의 총 간호교수는 603명으로 전임강사 이상 간호학 교수는 74%이었다. 대학과정의 학(과)장중 85.7%가 간호학 전공교수 이었으나 전문학교의 경우 기관장중 35.1%가 간호학 전공교수이었다. 5. 교수의 주당 강의시간 수는 대학과정의 경우 1$\~$3시간을 담당하는 교수가 52.6$\%$를 차지함에 비해, 전문학교의 경우 1$\~$3시간 담당교수는 11.0$\%$에 불과 하였으며 7$\~$9시간 담당교수가 28.0$\%$를 차지하고 16시간 이상 강의하는 교수도 2.6$\%$나 있었다. 교수의 정원을 질문 하였으나 자료 수집된 대부분의 학교에서 기록하지 않아 집계할 수 없었음을 밝히며, 끝으로 협조해주신 전국 간호교육 기관에 진심으로 감사드리면서 앞으로도 계속적인 지원과 협조를 바랍니다.

Influence of Self Efficacy and Rejection Sensitivity on College Life Adjustment in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자기효능감과 거부민감성이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to examine the self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity of nursing college students and their college life adjustment, as well as to identify the impact of self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity on college life adjustment. An online survey via URL was conducted on 154 enrolled students from nursing colleges nationwide. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 statistical software for descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the self-efficacy of the subjects was 3.80±0.63 points, rejection sensitivity was 2.67±0.83 points, and college life adjustment was 3.58±0.54 points. The factor influencing the college life adjustment among nursing college students was self-efficacy (β=.42, p<.001), while rejection sensitivity showed a significant negative correlation with adaptation to university life (r=-0.24, p=.003), but it was not a significant influencing factor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and utilize various teaching methods and programs for psychological and social support to enhance self-efficacy in order to improve the adjustment of nursing college students to college life.

The Mediating Effects of Major Satisfaction in the Relationship of Nursing Professionalism and Career Preparation Behavior in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 간호전문직관과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 전공만족도의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of perceived nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior on the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students. For this purpose, 231 nursing students from 4 university in 4 city were sampled for convenience. The result of this study were as follows:First, nursing professionalism of nursing students directly affected career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, which was statistically significant. Second, nursing professionalism showed mediating effects in relationship between career preparation behavior. Third, the major satisfaction of nursing students directly affected nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior. Based on the results of the research, it is necessary to develop an intervention program that strengthen major satisfaction of nursing students.

Child Abuse Awareness and Reporting Intention among Nursing and Education Students (간호대학생과 교육대학생의 아동학대에 대한 인식과 신고의도)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate child abuse awareness and reporting intention among nursing and education students and correlations among the variables involved. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted by administering an online questionnaire to 70 nursing college students and 70 education college students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, chi-squared test, the Mann-Whitney U test, and Pearson's correlation in SPSS 21.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY). Results: The mean score of child abuse awareness was $3.61{\pm}0.32$ for nursing students and $3.60{\pm}0.36$ for education students. The mean score of reporting intention was $5.65{\pm}0.90$ for nursing students and $5.38{\pm}1.03$ for education students. Females presented higher scores than males in the awareness of sexual abuse. The awareness of emotional abuse was higher in students who knew of reporting obligations or who had experienced abuse. Child abuse awareness and reporting intention were significantly positively correlated. Also, the number of times having received child abuse education was correlated with reporting intention in both mild and severe cases of abuse. Conclusion: Reporting intention is not only related to having received education, but also to the frequency of that education. Child abuse education is important to increase reporting intention and should be delivered repeatedly.

  • 본조사는 1983년 10월부터 11월까지 전국 50개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국 간호교육기관수는 대학과정 17개교, 전문대학과정 33개교로 총 50개교이다. 2. 1983년도 재학생 수는 14,699명으로 대학과정 3,133명, 전문대학과정 11,566명이다. 3. 1983년도 졸업생 수는 3,143명으로 대학과정 626명, 전문대학과정 2,517명이다. 4. 1983년도 졸업생의 취업율은 92.3$\%$, 미취업율은 7.7$\%$이고, 임상분야(89.9$\%$)에 가장 많이 취업하고 있으며, 지역사회분야(4.6$\%$), 교육분야(3.0$\%$), 기타(1.4$\%$), 진학(1.1$\%$) 순으로 취업하고 있다. 5. 전국 간호교육자 수는 779명이고, 1982년 3월부터 1983년 2월까지 출판된 저서는 15권, 논문 294편이다.

  • 본 조사는 1980년 10월부터 11월까지 전국 52개 간호교육기관의 교육실태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국 간호교육기관 수는 총 52개교로 대학과정 15개교, 전문대학과정 37개교이며, 설립별로 보면, 국립 9개교, 공립 16개교, 사립 27개교이다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관 51개교 1980년도 재학생은 대학과정 2,630명으로 25.5$\%$, 전문대학과정 7,664명으로 74.5$\%$로 총 10,294명이다. 3. 1980년 11월 현재 5개교에 남학생이 재학하고 있으며, 총 남학생 수는 38명이다. 4. 1980년도 졸업생은 대학과정 711명, 전문대학과정 2,610명으로 총 3,321명이며, 11월 현재 취업률은 85.5$\%$, 미취업율은 14.5$\%$이다. 5. 졸업생의 취업분야는 임상분야에 82.2$\%$, 보건분야에 8.8$\%$, 교육분야에 6.5$\%$, 기타 2.1$\%$를 나타내고 있다.

  • 본 조사는 1982년 7월부터 8월까지 전국 50개 간호교육기간을 대상으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 전과를 얻었다. 1. 전국간호교육가관 수는 대학과정 15개교, 전문대학과정 36개, 총 50개교이다. 2. 1982년도 재학생 수는 13,321명으로 대학 과정 2,968명, 전문대학과정 10,344명이고, 7개교에 재학중인 남학생은 47명이다. 3. 1982년도 졸업생 수는 3,046명으로 대학과정 666명, 전문대학과정 2,380명이다. 4. 1982년도 졸업생의 취업율은 90.1$\%$, 미취업율은 9.9$\%$이고, 취업분야는 임상분야에 87.4$\%$, 지역사회분야에 6.4$\%$, 교육분야에 3.1$\%$, 기타분야에 3.1$\%$이다. 5. 전국 간호교육자는 669명이고, 1981년 4월부터 1982년 8월까지 출판된 저서는 22권, 논문은 439권이다.

Comparisons of Self-esteem, Interpersonal Relationship, Happiness, and College Adjustment in Nursing Students by Type D Personality (D유형 성격에 따른 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복 및 대학생활적응 비교)

  • The purpose of study was to examine and compare the self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment between Type D and non-Type D personality among nursing students. Subjects included a total 181 nursing students (Type D personality: n=53, non-Type D personality: n=128). Data were collected through personal interviews using a questionnaire. The collected date were analyzed using a ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and independent t-test. There were significant differences on self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment between Type D and non-Type D personality among nursing students. Self-esteem showed significant differences in degree of adaption, interpersonal relationship in religion, happiness in economic status, college adjustment in religion and degree of adaption (Type D personality subjects). Type D personality lowered self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment in nursing students. Strategies for Type D personality in nursing students are needed to increase self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment.

Factors Influencing Nursing Professional Value of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 간호전문직관 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out a correlation of clinical nurse's character, clinical practice stress, stress coping and factor affecting nursing professional value on nursing students in Korea, and to use it as a basic data in developing nursing professional value promotion programs for nursing students. The study was composed of 145 students who were studying in fourth year student at colleges. Data were collected from May to June, 2019. Data analysis included an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression using the SPSS program. As a result of this study, nursing professional value of those was significantly correlated with clinical nurse's character, clinical practice stress and stress coping. In a regression analysis, nursing professional value accounted for 38.2%(F=43.973, p=.000), of the variance of clinical nurse's character and stress coping. The most significant factor affection the success of nursing professional value was stress coping(β=.508, p=.000). The result of the study indicates the importance of developing clinical nurse's character and applying variety stress coping method for positive nursing professional value of nursing students.
