This study attempted to investigate how the effectiveness of value-oriented promotion for media contents depends on self-construal and incorporated Schwartz' value system theory(1992) and Gutman's means-end chain theory(1982) into the development of hypotheses. It was expected that media content promotion emphasizing "openness to change" value would be more appealing to those with independent self-construal, whereas media content promotion emphasizing "conservation" value would be more appealing to those with interdependent self-construal. These hypotheses were generally supported in a series of experiments. Also, the dynamic relationship among the four primary value dimensions proposed by Schwartz (i.e., openness to change, conservation, self-enhancement, self-transcendence) was clearly validated in this study.

In this paper, we investigate industrial product intermediary's transformation strategy by exploiting advantages afforded by web based information technologies. Our motivation for this research stems from exploring intermediary's responding strategy to cope with supplier's threatening to disintermediation. From transaction cost perspective, internet can induce both the vertical quasi-integration (electronic hierarchy) and outsourcing (electronic market). Our rationale on directing one of these bi-directional movements is specified on intermediary's value adding on the supply chain. As such, we investigated supply chain performance, IT effects on customer's requirement of channel functions, and channel power structure. Propositions to suggest contingent e-transforming strategic alternatives are logically derived from dyadic nature of supply chain characteristics such as efficiency versus customer services, and supplier dominant versus easy replaceability of suppliers. The contingent e-transformation framework developed from intermediary's perspective is reviewed through longitudinal industry case analysis. Implications from the industry case analysis give us insights for the effectiveness of the framework to combine supply chain characteristics with intermediary's e-transformation.

In this paper, we consider the current status of smart TV and propose a business model established on the smart TV ecosystem. There are two views on the outlook of the smart TV market, one of which takes optimistic prospect and the other one is pessimistic. However, mostly it is believed that the innovation will continue in smart TV technology and the market will expand. In this paper, we proposes a two-way, active and consumer oriented business model for smart TV using subtitle information. Finally, we expect to contributing to reduce the gap of information between countries to spread the Han-Wave.

Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction converts syngas (mixture of CO and H2) to valuable hydrocarbon products. Simulation of low temperature Fischer -Tropsch Synthesis reaction and heat transfer at intensified process condition using catalyst filled single and multichannel microchannel reactor is considered. Single channel model simulation indicated potential for process intensification (higher GHSV of $30000hr^{-1}$ in presence of theoretical Cobalt based super-active catalyst) while still achieving CO conversion greater than ~65% and $C_{5+}$ selectivity greater than ~74%. Conjugate heat transfer simulation with multichannel reactor block models considering three different combinations of reactor configuration and coolant type predicted ${\Delta}T_{max}$ equal to 23 K for cross-flow configuration with wall boiling coolant, 15 K for co-current flow configuration with subcooled coolant, and 13 K for co-current flow configuration with wall boiling coolant. In the range of temperature maintained (498 - 521 K), chain growth probability calculated is desirable for low-temperature Fisher-Tropsch Synthesis.

In 2013 the Netflix, an OTT in USA, launched all at once 13 episodes of the House of Cards season. Binge-watching is the word which means watching continuously 2~6 episodes of a TV program with one sitting, the new normal of TV watching behavior, cultural and social currents all over the world. This study has analyzed the factors and motivations which affect to the persistent intention to use binge-watching. It conducted an online survey from 333 Quota sample from Korean age groups between 20th~60th with 81 questionnaires. The 5 groups were induced as motivation factors to binge-watching. The 3 groups which consisted of , , are affecting as positive to intention to use binge-watching. But the other 2 groups which are and doing as negative. The survey has shown that the persistent intention to binge-watching is affected by ages more younger, whom doing binge watching more frequently, whom estimating more higher to the conceived usefulness to use. As a theoretical model, expanded technology acceptance model was adopted and US drama House of Cards. This study could promote the next generation contents planning and S-VOD service industry.
