복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼에 관한 연구: KISTI의 창조경제타운을 중심으로

  • 신산업 시장 육성 및 일자리 창출 등 지속적인 성장동력을 확보하기 위해서는 선진 기술을 모방하는 추격형 전략에서 벗어나, 기술 혁신을 주도하는 탈추격형 전략으로 변화를 시도해야 한다. 해외에서는 다양한 아이디어 지원 플랫폼을 통해 국민 모두가 혁신 활동에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 이에 따라 우리나라에서도 국민의 창의성을 발현하고 새로운 부가가치를 창출하기 위해 다양한 정책들을 추진하며 전략적 투자를 확대하고 있다. 특히, 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서 운영하고 있는 창조경제타운은 아이디어의 발전 구체화 및 부처/민간 사업화 지원 프로그램 연계 등을 통해 사업화 창업을 촉진하는 우리나라의 복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼이다. 본 연구는 복지형 아이디어 지원 플랫폼의 개념을 제시하고, 그 대표적인 모델인 창조경제타운의 프로세스를 분석하였다. 향후 창조경제타운은 창업 생태계를 조성하기 위한 기반을 마련할 것으로 판단된다.

Big Hit Entertainment's Contents Innovation : Focusing on Entrepreneurial Leadership and Platform Strategy (빅히트 엔터테인먼트의 콘텐츠 혁신 : 기업가적 리더십과 플랫폼 전략을 중심으로)

  • Big Hit entertainment corporation has been well known for value creation since it became the contents innovator in Korea to develop global artist musician BTS. By introducing sustainable innovations, as well as a mainstream of successive music entertainment growth, Big Hit entertainment corporation has became a global leader in highly competitive entertainment industry. To explain the Big Hit's contents innovation story, this study suggests a innovation momentum with two core elements: CEO's entrepreneurial leadership and platform strategy. Based on in-depth case study, this study proposes that CEO's entrepreneurial leadership allowed the Big Hit entertainment corporation to take advantage of its existing key resources and execute sustainable contents innovations. Also, creating diverse music and entertainment contents from the Weverse digital platform produce Big Hit's value creation. Based on these research results, both the contributions and implication to entertainment industry and academic field are presented.

  • The objective of this case study is to analyze how effectively KIA SOUL, which is a leading Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) brand, has created a new market space through innovative product strategy. Up until now, most car manufacturers have focused only on the traditional product market segments missing out on the opportunity of the crossover segment market. KIA SOUL found a new market space by identifying the high crossover utility demand and filling the gap between the current product category values and the emerging crossover product category values. This case study illustrates that an innovative product strategy can be effectively employed to create a new market space in the saturated car manufacturing industry. The case summarizes that the innovative product strategy of KIA SOUL is comprised of four primary pillars: design innovation, market frontier in CUV, the first company to launch customizing service brand-TUON, and functional innovation. The KIA SOUL case study provides valuable insights and implications for many other companies that are planning to find "blue oceans" for their own business.

정부 R&D투자가 중소기업에 미치는 영향 - 대전 지역특화(전략)산업을 중심으로

  • 대전은 전국에서 R&D투자가 많은 지역으로 이는 출연연 및 출연연 출신 연구원의 기술창업의 증가로 나타나는 현상으로 볼 수 있다. R&D가 많이 투자됨에 따라 이에 따른 효율성에 대한 분석들이 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 주로 R&D 투자가 대한 지역내총생산, 기업의 생산성 등에 미치는 영향 즉 R&D투자의 효율성 분석을 많이 하고 있다. 본고에서는 지역 R&D투자가 기업의 생산성에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하였다. 특히 지역특화(전략)산업 분야별로 분석하여 지역 R&D 투자의 효율적 배분을 위한 전략방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 분석을 위해서 생산성에 대한 대리변수로 종업원 1인당 매출액 종업원 1인당 부가가치를 종속변수로 설정하였고, 독립변수로 연구개발비, 종업원 1인당 영업이익, 종업원 1인당 자본집약도 등의 변수를 다중회귀모형으로 실증분석 하였다. 분석결과 R&D투자가 매출액과 부가가치에 유의한 영향을 미치지만, 연구개발비가 매출액이나 부가가치 등 생산성 증가에 결정적인 요인으로 나타나지 않았다. 산업별 분석결과 정보통신, 바이오산업보다 부품소재 산업에서 결정계수가 높게 나왔다. 또한 조절회귀모형을 설정하여 조절효과를 분석한 결과 R&D투자는 매출액에 영향을 미치지만, 부가가치는 조절효과가 발생하지 않았다. 이는 지역 R&D투자의 효율적 배분 측면에서 투자의 활성화를 이루고 연구개발 투자가 실질적으로 기업의 생산성 증가에 기여할 수 있도록 견인해야 할 것이다.

  • 수익성 없는 고객주의나 단기적인 수익성만을 강조하는 무시 주의는 CRM과는 배치되는 사고이다. CRM은 장기적인 가치를 극대화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또 CRM은 고객과 기업이 합리적인 혜택을 주고 받는 과정에서 상호의 이익을 극대화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 필자는 이번호부터 고객관계관리의 전략적인 가치를 비롯해 조직의 혁신, 정보기술과의 연계방안, 발전 방향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

The Characteristics of Corporate Growth and Innovation in the Materials, Components, and Equipments Sectors of Korean Display Industrial Value Chain (한국 디스플레이산업 가치사슬별 소재부품 및 장비기업의 성장과 혁신 특성)

  • Display industry in Korea has been rapidly developing over 20 years, now taking the top-class leading position in the world. Nevertheless, many previous studies have mainly focused on major panel set makers. To overcome the drawbacks, this study focuses on supplier companies in the upstream of display industry such as materials, components, and equipments sectors. The research method used in this study is an industry value chain perspective combined with architectural innovation approach. Display panel is produced through fabrication process and modular process, each having a different characteristics of process architecture. This research figured out that there are quite a different development characteristics between materials and components suppliers and equipment suppliers. The number and revenue of materials and components suppliers were quite larger than equipments suppliers. However, the former has been growing mainly in the field of modular process, having a very weak position in the field of fabrication process. On the contrary, equipments suppliers have been showing a continuously growing pattern in the field of fabrication process. The R&D expenditures between these two kinds of suppliers showed a similar pattern. The fabrication process of display panel production is characterized as a highly integral architecture characteristics, so as to be a strong barriers to local suppliers, resulting less development of materials and components suppliers in Korea.

  • The service industry has become very important for almost every country. The same goes for Korea, as its service industry accounts for more than 60 percent of GDP. However, it is true that the competitiveness of Korea's service industry is very low compared to that of major developed countries. It is particularly true for knowledge-intensive service sectors. In this reason, Korea needs to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic service sectors. There have been many studies on service innovation models. 1his paper tries to explore how to enhance the competitiveness of Korean service industry. It argues that the science and technology will play an essential role in strengthening the competitiveness of many service sectors and technology and innovation management will be very important also for them. Therefore, based on the review on existinf models, this paper suggests a "Model of Strategic Services Innovation Management" which is composed of strategic intent, technological innovation, and organizational innovation. Based on this model this paper analyzes two cases: Wal-Mart and Incheon International Airport Co. According to our analyzes, both companies have enhanced their competitiveness significantly based on technological and organizational innovations, which have been initiated at corporate leveL Therefore, the Korean service industry should actively adopt the Strategic Services Innovation Management Model in order to enhance its competitiveness and productivity.

  • The pharmaceutical industry is experiencing a productivity crisis with a low probability of success despite a long period of time and enormous cost. As a strategy to solve the productivity crisis, the use cases of Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Bigdata are increasing worldwide and tangible results are coming out. However, domestic pharmaceutical companies are taking a wait-and-see attitude to adopt AI platform for drug research. This study proposed a research model that combines the Value-based Adoption Model and the Innovation Resistance Model to empirically study the effect of value perception and resistance factors on adopting AI Platform. As a result of empirical verification, usefulness, knowledge richness, complexity, and algorithmic opacity were found to have a significant effect on perceived values. And, usefulness, knowledge richness, algorithmic opacity, trialability, technology support infrastructure were found to have a significant effect on the innovation resistance.

Tasks and Theories in the Marketing Strategy of Innovative New Product (혁신적 신제품 마케팅전략의 과제 및 이론)

  • 지금까지 카테고리가 없던 혁신적 신제품이 시장에 진입하는 데는 없던 시장을 새로 만들어야 하기 때문에 많은 저항에 부딪힌다. 이를 극복하는 방안을 본 연구에서는 시장창조 전략이라 하고 구체적으로 11 가지 제안명제를 제시하고 있다. 먼저 저항을 극복하기 위해 도입기와 성장기를 보다 세분화하여 시장형성, 강화, 확장으로 나눌 필요가 있다(제안명제 1). 다음으로 시장형성, 강화, 확장의 각 단계별 저항을 극복하기 위해 가치이동, 장벽이론, 캐즘이론, 팬텀이론, 허수잠재성, 메가마케팅 및 홍보, 스키마이론 등에 근거한 7 가지 제안명제를 준수할 필요가 있다. 끝으로 여러 저항 극복을 위해 혁신적 신제품과 신제품에 모두 적용되는 마케팅전략인 제안명제 9, 10, 11을 준수할 필요가 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the economic value of a biotechnology in the middle of R&D and to examine strategies to manage a variety of risks and uncertainties intrinsic in research and development of biotechnologies through economic valuation in consideration of technological and industrial characteristics of the technology. To do this, this study analyzes the probability of commercial success of the technology development in qualitative terms, evaluates the quantitative value of the technology on the basis of a determined model, and proposes the implications on R&D strategy. In concrete, this study analyzes the economic value of the technology by constructing a decision tree reflecting the characteristics of the R&D process of the technology and draw the implications on the future R&D strategies of the technology.
