저궤도 지구관측위성 비행모델 정현파 가진시험 결과 분석

  • 이 논문에서는 저궤도 지구관측위성 비행모델의 정현파 가진시험 결과에 대하여 분석하였다. 정현파 가진시험은 발사환경시험중의 하나로서, 저주파 대역의 정현파 진동 환경하에서 인공위성의 안정성을 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 정현파 가진시험의 입력선도는 발사체로부터 선정되어진다. 발사체로부터 선정된 입력선도는 극한의 경우를 고려한 선도이므로 실제 정현파 가진시험시에는 입력선도에 적절한 노칭을 적용하여야 한다. 노칭은 주구조물의 대한 1차 노칭과 부가 구조물에 대한 2차 노칭으로 구분이 되어 적용되었다. 정현파 가진시험의 전후에는 저수준 정현파가진시험을 수행하였으며, 주파수 응답함수를 비교함으로서 구조적으로 문제가 없는지를 확인하였다. 시험 후, 육안검사를 통하여 구조 부재가 이상이 없는지를 최종 확인하였으며, 인공위성비행모델이 정현파 가진 환경하에서 충분히 안전함을 확인하였다.

  • The present study deals with the experimental facility for PSD (POGO Suppression Device) performance test systems. Basically there are two methods to pulsate the system; whole-feeding-system pulsation and working-fluid pulsation. The latter method adopts either a piston-type pulsator or a restrict-type pulsator. The working-fluid pulsation using a restrict-type pulsator was considered to be the most appropriate experimental system to study the effects of the primary parameters, and a practical design of the system was proposed. Also, the experimental facility adopts the ball valve type pulsator considering the leak problem of the plate type pulsator.

  • The vibration test system of satellite environment test dept. has been used successfully for the vibration tests of a majority of korean space programs. To meet the recent needs of large size test facility available for the vibrational tests of the huge launch vehicles and satellites, KARI have developed the large size multi-electromagnetic shaking system with $3{\times}3m$ head expander system. The new system will consist of three electromagnetic shakers which has 160 kN thrust force individually, and be able to sustain up to 8 tons test load and 300 kNm overturing moment. This paper describes the design components in the development process of multi-excitation shaker system.

  • In this study, the limitations of large strain resonant column and torsional shear tests apparatus are described and solutions to the limitations are also described. The limitations are rotational distance, limited torque, and measurable deformation system, respectively. To resolve the rotational distance, the bottom platen was modified. And the four-armed drive plate was modified into eight-armed drive plate and the drive coil connection was changed to obtain powerful torque.

  • The characteristics of the responses obtained in thermosonic tests are investigated in this study to improve the performance of a thermosonic test system. Thermosonic tests are conducted with an acoustic horn with high power capability to investigate the characteristics of the vibration produced in turbine blades with complex geometry. The influences of the excitation signal that is input to the horn and the coupling methods between a clamp and the acoustic horn on the characteristics of the vibration excited in a component are presented. As a result, an excitation method with a fast narrow band chirp test (sweep test) and a stud coupling is proposed as an excitation method for thermosonic testing. This method can be applied to different types of turbine blades and also to other components.

  • In this study, I studied how to generate input values to achieve the same value as the target value. The general procedures are explained to regenerate the excitation input, which is made by using the frequency response function between input-output. In this study, a mount model connected by a bushing was used as a numerical model. The response value for the excitation input was compared with the target value. The excitation input was corrected to obtain the same response as the target value. Through the iterative process, the reconstructed input value was obtained to have the same response as the test.

A Vibration Test of Fuel Tanks for LNG Vehicles (액화천연가스 차량용 연료탱크의 진동시험)

  • Natural frequencies of a cryogenic fuel tank of LNG vehicle were computed to check the safety related to the resonances, and tests were performed to confirm the vibrational durability of a cryogenic fuel tank. There were 3 tests. The first test started at excitation frequency of 31.9Hz, and the test was performed reducing the excitation frequencies. Failure took place at 22.1Hz. The second test was performed with the frequencies to be increased. At 12.7 Hz, failure took place and nitrogen gas was exhausted. In the third test, the excitation frequencies were continuously changed, and the vibration port was failed in the range between 8 Hz and 19.3 Hz. Detailed research on the failed parts of the tank in this study is recommended to enhance the safety of the cryogenic fuel tanks of LNG vehicles.

Ground Vibration Tests of SmartUAV Airframe Structure (스마트무인기 기체구조물 지상진동시험)

  • This paper describes the test procedure, instrumentation, verification methodology and the results of the ground vibration test(GVT) and force vibration test(FVT) of the SmartUAV aircraft to estimate experimentally dynamic characteristics of the aircraft. Bungee cords are used to emulate free-free boundary conditions of the test aircraft. The SmartUAV is excited by three shakers and one-hundred frequency response functions(FRF's) is measured. The FRF's are reduced and analyzed to identify the dynamics parameters of the SmartUAV. To extract modal parameters of the SmartUAV such as, natural frequencies and damping ratios, the poly-reference least square complex exponential method is used in the time domain. The mode shape coefficients are estimated with the least squares frequency domain method to identify the vibration modes. The FVT was performed by fixed sine frequency with three shakers on the x, y and z direction and vibration characteristics of structures and detail equipments are measured.

Ground Vibration Test of KF- 16D (KF-16D 지상진동시험)

  • This paper discusses the test procedure, instrumentation, verification methodology and the results of the ground vibration test(GVT) performed on the KF-16D aircraft to estimate experimentally dynamic characteristics of the aircraft. The modal tests for 7 external store configurations were conducted to estimate effects of external stores on the aircraft vibration modes. To emulate free-free boundary conditions the test aircraft was mounted on its landing gear structure with deflated tires during the GVT. The airframe modal tests were done by burst random excitations with 6 to 8 shakers and about 200 accelerometers. Frequency response functions(FRFs) were measured for each test, and the FRFs were reduced and analyzed to identify the dynamic parameters interested. The analyses were carried out in two steps. To extract modal parameters such as, frequencies and damping ratios, the poly-reference least square complex exponential method was used in the time domain.
