An Analytical Study on Performance Factors of Automatic Classification based on Machine Learning (기계학습에 기초한 자동분류의 성능 요소에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the factors affecting the performance of automatic classification for the domestic conference papers based on machine learning techniques. In particular, In view of the classification performance that assigning automatically the class labels to the papers in Proceedings of the Conference of Korean Society for Information Management using Rocchio algorithm, I investigated the characteristics of the key factors (classifier formation methods, training set size, weighting schemes, label assigning methods) through the diversified experiments. Consequently, It is more effective that apply proper parameters (${\beta}$, ${\lambda}$) and training set size (more than 5 years) according to the classification environments and properties of the document set. and If the performance is equivalent, I discovered that the use of the more simple methods (single weighting schemes) is very efficient. Also, because the classification of domestic papers is corresponding with multi-label classification which assigning more than one label to an article, it is necessary to develop the optimum classification model based on the characteristics of the key factors in consideration of this environment.

  • 현재 하천 건천화에 따른 수생태계 교란 및 수질악화 등의 근본적인 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 최근 정부의 저탄소 녹색성장기조에 따라 조성되고 있는 신도시, 소규모 및 대규모 택지개발사업의 경우는 환경 친화적인 단지조성 요구에 부응하기 위해 기존 도심하천의 복원 및 인공하천의 녹색성장을 고려한 친환경적 생태하천으로 조성하고자 하는 다양한 노력이 시도되고 있으나 안정적인 생태복원의 수원확보 방안을 마련하지 못해 실제 설계가 반영되지 못하고 있다. 또한, 조성하고자 하는 소하천 혹은 실개울 등의 수질보전 및 생태계 보호 등 하천이 본래의 기능을 유지할 수 있도록 생태하천유량을 확보하는 다양한 기술들이 개발되어 있지만, 공사 유형과 주변 환경에 적합한 생태하천유량 확보 방안을 선정할 수 있는 비구조적 대책마련이 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 실정과 문제점을 고려해 볼 때, 조성하고자 하는 도시 내 자연하천 및 인공하천 조성 등 수변환경을 고려한 단지조성에 맞는 생태하천유량 확보 방안 및 평가에 대한 연구가 단계적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 생태하천유량 확보와 하천수질 개선이 필요한 특정 지역 또는 다양한 유형의 공사 지구 내 하천이 정상적인 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 적용 가능한 생태하천유량 확보 방안들과 수리해석 모델인 HEC-RAS(River Analysis System), 생태하천유량 산정 모델인 PHABSIM(Physical HABitat SIMulation)을 연계한 물리서식처 평가 모듈을 개발하고, 이를 기초로 가중치부여매트릭스 평가(국토해양부, 2006) 기법을 적용한 최적의 생태하천유량 확보 방안과 수질개선 방안을 제시해 줄 수 있는 의사결정지원 시스템을 구축 하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 최적의 생태하천유량 확보 방안 도출을 위한 의사결정지원 시스템의 활용으로 필요유량은 물론, 기준을 만족하는 수질의 확보가 절실히 요구되는 중 소규모 하천에 실질적으로 적정수질의 생태하천유량을 확보함으로서 하천으로서의 역할을 위한 본 기능의 회복과 동시에 소하천, 도심하천 및 인공하천 등 중 소규모 수계의 수문순환을 정상화하여 하천의 지속 가능한 개발과 관리가 효율적으로 이루어지도록 하는데 이용될 수 있을 것으로 예상되어진다.

  • In the IEEE 802.1 Ib, DCF provides contention based services and PCF provides contention free services for QoS suppof. DCF uses CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access/collision Avoidance) as an access protocol. In this paper, an enhanced PCF, which gives weights to channels with heavy traffic load, was proposed. The weight is depending on the partial queue length information from STAs. NS-2 simulation results show that the proposed scheme is an promising approach for enhancing the PCF.

  • H.264/AVC는 최신의 국제 비디오 압축 표준으로 가변블록크기 지원, 다중 참조 프레임 움직임 보상 등의 기법으로 이전의 압축 표준인 MPEG-4, H.263등에 비해 비슷한 화질에서 비트율을 거의 50%정도 줄였다. 이러한 기법들로 압축 효율성이 높아진 반면, 계산 복잡도는 증가하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 움직임 벡터 예측인 MVP를 이용하여 시간적 상관성을 고려하고 프레임 내의 주위 매크로블록 모드정보에 가중치를 부여하여 부호화를 매크로블록의 최종 모드를 빠르게 선택하는 기법을 제안한다. 실험에서 JM10.2의 모드 선택기법과 비교한 결과, 평균 85%이상 선택한 모드가 동일함을 보여주었다.

  • We propose an advanced BMPA (balanced multimedia packet allocation) scheme. The proposed scheme considers the optimal resource allocation problem in OFDMA system. When NRT (non-real time), RT (real time), multicast packets arrive at the same time in OFDMA system, the advanced BMPA chooses the best sub-carrier as a multicast channel for multicast packets, gives more weight to RT packets and multicast packets than NRT packets and allocates sub-carriers according to the total weight sum of packets in each user. With simulation results, this paper shows that the advanced BMPA scheme ensures QoS (long-term system throughput and multimedia packet delay) in heterogeneous traffic compared with multicast MU-WF (multi-user water-filling) and BMPA schemes.

A Dynamic Pre-Cluster Head Algorithm for Topology Management in Wireless Sensor Networks (무선 센서네트워크에서 동적 예비 클러스터 헤드를 이용한 효율적인 토폴로지 관리 방안에 관한 연구)

  • As the topology frequently varies, more cluster reconstructing is needed and also management overheads increase in the wireless ad hoc/sensor networks. In this paper, we propose a multi-hop clustering algorithm for wireless sensor network topology management using dynamic pre-clusterhead scheme to solve cluster reconstruction and load balancing problems. The proposed scheme uses weight map that is composed with power level and mobility, to choose pre-clusterhead and construct multi-hop cluster. A clusterhead has a weight map and threshold to hand over functions of clusterhead to pre-clusterhead. As a result of simulation, our algorithm can reduce overheads and provide more load balancing well. Moreover, our scheme can maintain the proper number of clusters and cluster members regardless of topology changes.

  • It is essential to estimate and evaluate for user satisfaction and quality management of database system, understanding of user needs and quality characteristics. Based on ISO 25000 series, it was suggested, the first research, that 5 main quality characteristics, 21 sub quality characteristics and 48 internal quality characteristics. There are comparative significance methods of main quality characteristics, sub quality characteristics and internal quality characteristics but it is not easy to use directly quality model in database system industry field. Also, Considering time and cost in quality evaluation, it is impossible to evaluate 48 internal quality characteristics and its level of quality evaluation is not equal in accordance with integrity level of database system. By using AHP, this study presents selection method of quality characteristics in weight and possibility of application quality model.

Rainfall Frequency Analysis Using SIR Algorithm and Bootstrap Methods (극한강우를 고려한 SIR알고리즘과 Bootstrap을 활용한 강우빈도해석)

  • In this study, we considered annual maximum rainfall data from 56 weather stations for rainfall frequency analysis using SIR(Sampling Important Resampling) algorithm and Bootstrap method. SIR algorithm is resampling method considering weight in extreme rainfall sample and Bootstrap method is resampling method without considering weight in rainfall sample. Therefore we can consider the difference between SIR and Bootstrap method may be due to the climate change. After the frequency analysis, we compared the results. Then we derived the results which the frequency based rainfall obtained using the data from SIR algorithm has the values of -10%~60% of the rainfall obtained using the data from Bootstrap method.

Assessment of Landslide Causal Factors Using ANN Method (ANN 기법을 이용한 사면 붕괴인자 평가)

  • In this study landslide causal factors which are considered to have the same effect in assessment techniques are categorized and their impact on landslides is analyzed to acquire reasonable weighting factors in the landslide hazard. Results are compared to those of the Assessment Chart developed by National Institute for Disaster Prevention (NIDP) and the adequacy and proper portion for landslide causal factors are considered. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method applied to 28 landslide areas is incorporated to evaluate the reasonable rating. Results show that the following items in the Chart are necessary to modify their portions in order to implement the precise assessment results: 1) Estimated damage; 2) Tension crack; 3) Existence of valley.

A Software Complexity Measurement Technique for Object-Oriented Reverse Engineering (객체지향 역공학을 위한 소프트웨어 복잡도 측정 기법)

  • Over the last decade, numerous complexity measurement techniques for Object-Oriented (OO) software system have been proposed for managing the effects of OO codes. These techniques may be based on source code analysis such as WMC (Weighted Methods per Class) and LCOM (Lack of Cohesion in Methods). The techniques are limited to count the number of functions (C++). However. we suggested a new weighted method that checks the number of parameters, the return value and its data type. Then we addressed an effective complexity measurement technique based on the weight of class interfaces to provide guidelines for measuring the class complexity of OO codes in reverse engineering. The results of this research show that the proposed complexity measurement technique ECC(Enhanced Class Complexity) is consistent and accurate in C++ environment.
