The Effect on the Marital Satisfaction to marriage immigrant wives whose spouse of in an old age : Focusing on Social service and Human support (노년기 남편을 둔 결혼이주여성의 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 요인 : 인적지지와 사회서비스를 중심으로)

  • This study is focused on increasing of population aging and multicultural families in Korea. This study is conducted to figure out the marital satisfaction of marriage immigrant wives having elderly husband and to verify the effect of the social service and human support. This analysis was used in the '2009 National Multicultural Families Survey' data is at least 65 years of age, married immigrant spouses wife 236 case. Descriptive statistics were performed for statistical analysis and hierarchical regression techniques. The effective variables of the marriage immigrant wives include the experience of discrimination, subjective health condition, education for social adjustment, whether an adviser is Korean when they face difficulties, and whether the frequency of contacts made with their families in homeland is more than once to three times a year. Analysis shows that these things works as the effect variable of marital satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediation effect of family resilience in the relations between cultural adaptation stress and marital satisfaction The subjects were 183 married migrant women' Korean husbands who live in Pusan Ulsan city and Kyongnambuk province. Collected date were analyzed through frequency, percentage, mediated regression analysis and Sobel test. The results confirm the mediation effect of family resilience in the relations between cultural adaptation stress and marital satisfaction. According to these findings, intervention strategies that focus on increasing the family resilience of the married migrant women' Korean husbands were suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of family-friendly life environment factors including local community's living environment satisfaction (safety, convenience, comfort, accessibility, exchange of neighbor satisfaction), family support facility satisfaction, family support program satisfaction and nurture and education environment satisfaction, and local community's living information accessibility on the effect of multiple roles of married men and women with children. Data were collected from 380 married men and women with children located Seoul, GyeongGi-Do, ChungCheongBuk-Do, and KyungSangNam-Do. The results show that, first of all, related to general trend of role satisfaction and role strain, the subjects have higher experience of role satisfaction than role strain. Secondly, the variables of social demography, such as monthly income, non-regular full-time working system, white collar occupation, number of children and level of education, and living environment variables, such as satisfaction of living environment stability and satisfaction of neighbor exchange in living environment were significantly related to role strain. Thirdly, social demography variables, such as average monthly earnings, gender (male), non-regular part-time working system, satisfaction of stability in living environment, and satisfaction of convenience in living environment were significantly related to role strain.

  • 연고가 소비자들의 제품구매와 점포선택에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 이에 대한 실증적인 연구가 밝표된 적이 거의 없다. 본 논문에서는 관계마케팅의 관점에서 세 가지의 사회적연고의 형태가 소비자의 만족, 신뢰, 압박감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 검증하였다. 대체적으로 종교적 관계나 가족적 관계는 소비자의 만족, 신뢰와 압박감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Relationship between Gerotranscendence, Family Support, Social Support, Self-esteem, and Fear of Death in Elders for Promotion of Life Care (라이프케어 증진을 위한 노년기의 노년초월, 가족지지, 사회적지지, 자아존중감, 죽음불안과의 관계)

  • This study is a descriptive study to dentify gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and degree of fear of death and the relationship between old age. Through this study, it provide basic data that can help target elderly people do better in their later years. From June 2018 to October 2018, residents' self-governing centers, senior citizens' centers, and life-long education centers were visited to explain the purpose of the research, and those who voluntarily agreed to the research were selected. The following results were obtained by surveying 50 adults aged 60 or older in Seoul using structured questionnaire. The difference in the level of gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and fear of death according to the general characteristics of the target was analyzed as t-test and ANOVA. The correlation of gerotranscendence, family support, social support, self-esteem, and fear of death in early years of life was analyzed as Pearson correlation coefficient. Among the common traits, age was related to social support and death anxiety, marital status was related to family support, and life satisfaction was related to family support. There was a correlation between old age and fear of death, a correlation between family support and self-esteem, and social support related to self-esteem and fear of death. In conclusion, this study found that early retirement in the old age was associated with fear of death, and it was found that family support in the old age affected self-esteem and satisfaction in life. Future studies need to be conducted on groups of adults in the later years, including the degree of elderly age, satisfaction with living, and relationship between the elderly and the elderly.

Effects of Female Managers' Marriages and Childbirth on Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, Plans to Leave, and Life Satisfaction (여성 관리자의 결혼 및 출산이 직무만족, 조직몰입, 이직계획, 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper used data which consisted of 109 female managers who married and 109 female managers who gave birth over a 2-year period (2008-2010) by 'KWMP: Korean Women Manager Panel' from Korean Women's Development Institute (KWDI). The results of this empirical study exhibit that 1) female managers' marriages and childbirth did not have significant effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and plans to leave. 2) Female managers' marriages also did not have significant effects on life satisfaction, however, their childbirth did (t=2.49, df=108, p<.014). We used to believe that female managers' marriages and childbirth could disturb their work. However, this study disproved the previous stereotype that female managers' marriages and childbirth would have negative effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and plans to leave. The results of this study will provide useful information to human resource departments or female rights and interests organizations.

The Effects of Self-differentiation on the Family Life Satisfaction and Job Satisfaction of Married Employee: Mediating Effects of Conflict Managing Behavior (기혼직장인의 자아분화가 가정생활만족과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 - 갈등대처행동을 매개변인으로 -)

  • This study examined the effects of self-differentiation on family-life satisfaction and job satisfaction, and investigated the mediating effects of conflict-managing behavior. The participants in the present study were 196 married employees. LISREL was employed to test this hypothetical structural model. The results of this empirical study demonstrated that self-differentiation had positive effects on both family-life satisfaction and job satisfaction, which was mediated by the conflict-managing behavior but did not have a direct effect on either family-life satisfaction or job satisfaction. This study verified that conflict-managing behavior had mediating effects on the relationships among self-differentiation, family-life satisfaction, and job satisfaction. The results indicated that the higher the level of self-differentiation was, the more effective conflict-managing behavior was. And the more effective conflict-managing behavior was, the higher the levels of family-life satisfaction and job satisfaction were.

  • This study attempted to segment food festival market based on delineated motivation and find factors and find the difference attendants' characteristics among segment market. The study also explored the influence of motivation factors on satisfaction. The results shows that The results are followings : (1) Derived factors of food festival attendance motivation were 'food', 'escape', 'familey togetherness', 'entertainment'. (2) A cluster analysis identified three segments for four motivation factors. Three segments were found to be different according to age, income, the number of company, and information source. (3) Four motivation factors had significant influence on satisfaction. food factor's influence was the highest. and 'family togetherness', 'escape', 'entertainment' are ranked accordingly.
