The Factors affecting on Internet Addition in Adolescence and how to deal with it - Focusing on Ecosystem Theory - (청소년의 인터넷 중독 영향요인과 대처방안에 관한 연구 - 생태체계적 관점을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is to identify the factors affecting on adolescent internet addition and suggest how to deal with it. This study is based on the ecosystem theory for human development. The factors affecting on adolescent internet addition are the followings: First, self-efficacy, self-esteem and self-control affect on internet addiction in individual system. Second, the affecting factors concerned with home environmental system are the communication level between parents and adolescent, parents' attitude for bringing up, parents' control level for adolescent, parents support etc. Third, the affecting factors concerned with school environmental system academic score, friends' support, teacher's support, adolescent adaptation in school life etc. This study suggest how to deal with internet addiction based on these findings.

  • 본 논문은 아동의 도덕성 발달에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관한 연구이다. 아동적 도 덕성 발달에 관한 경험적 모델은 기존 경험적 연구들을 기초로하여 설정되었다. 모델에 포 함된 변인들은 미시체계환경 중간체계환경 거시체계환경으로 범주화 하였다. 미시체계환경 은 심리적으로 근접하기 때문에 어린이의 도덕성 발달에 다른 체계보다 더 강한 영향을 미 치리라 가정하였다 다중회귀분석기법으로 아동의 도덕성 발달에 영향을 미치는 요인의 순효 과를 검증한 결과는 다음과 같았다. (1) 모델에서 대부분 이론적 변인들은 아동의 도덕성 점 수에 유의미했으나 (2) 그 중에서는 미시체계환경은 아동의 도덕성 발달에 가장 유의미한 변인으로 나타났다. 특히 부모와의 의사소통정도는 아동의 도덕성발달에 대단히 중요한 요 인으로 나타났다.

Importance of objectives of Housing unit in Home Economics by three systems of action of Home Economics teachers in middle school (중학교 가정과 교사가 인식하는 주생활 영역의 세 행동체계별 목표 중요도)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop objectives of Housing contents in Technology$\cdot$Home Economics by three systems of action and to find out the importance of the objectives of the teachers have taught the class. The 303 teachers from 183 middle schools replied the mail questionnaire during September, 2003. The data were analyzed by SPSS/win. The 21 objectives for each system of action were developed based on the textbooks, teachers guides, and other related references. The importance of the objectives related to communicative system of action was the highest, respectively followed by the ones related to technical and emancipatory systems of action. Indoor Environment & Equipment was more likely to be important than Maintenance & Repairs as the objectives related to communicative system of action, while Usage of Living Space was less likely to be important than the other two sub-units. The importance of the objectives was somewhat differed by the general characteristics of the teachers. The older are the more important the objectives related to technical system of action. Female, Home Economics teachers, who learned philosophy of Home Economics were more likely to think than others objectives related to communicative and emancipatory systems of action to be important. This research showed the teachers' perspectives of the objectives of Housing contents were not the same among respondents and generally supported the previous results from other contents of Home Economics.

A Path Model of Self, Family, & Extrafamilial System Factors Associated with Adolescents' Sexual Risk Behaviors (청소년의 위험 성행동과 관련된 개인.가족.주변 환경 체계요인의 경로모형)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the interaction between family and extrafamilial system factors with self system factors on adolescents' sexual risk behaviors. The study subjects were 365 middle school students in Chungbuk Province. The results of this research were as follows. Adolescents' sexual risk behaviors resulted from the interaction of self/family/extrafamilial system factors rather than from any one specific cause. Therefore, when counseling these students, multiple system factors should be considered in view of any other uni-focused counseling approach will lead to only a short-term behavior change.

  • This study aims to develop the content structure of healthy dietary education for multicultural family parents who guides their children to the correct and desirable applications at home. This study is an exploratory study intended to establish the contents of healthy dietary education for multicultural family parents. For the methodology we investigated dietary behaviors of children of multicultural families. As a result of examining closely the necessity and contents of healthy dietary education for the multicultural families parents including food safety, nutrition, and food culture. Based upon the above findings, the goals of healthy dietary education for parents were set up, its content area and sub-area(education topics) were composed and fixed, and finally, topic-specific goals and 12 content elements were extracted, detailed and systematized for pre schoolers and elementary school children.

Developing Content System for Home Economics Curriculum in Connection with Education for Sustainable Development(ESD): Focusing on the 'Life Environment and Sustainable Choice' Area (지속가능발전교육(ESD)을 연계한 가정과 교육과정의 내용체계 개발: '생활환경과 지속가능한 선택' 영역)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a content system for the home economics curriculum that integrates Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) and provides basic material for ESD implementation in schools. In view of this, the content elements of the revised home economics curriculum for 2022 were analyzed, and a content system for the home economics curriculum, linked to ESD, was proposed based on the implications drawn from the analysis. The results are as follows. First, the three components of competencies, namely knowledge, values, and skills, were organized equally as a whole. However, the association between the content elements and key competencies in sustainability was found to be insufficient. Consequently, it is proposed that key competencies in sustainability should be cultivated integrally. Second, no content element was identified that can promote social participation. Therefore, it is proposed that solutions should be dealt with at the level of social participation. Third, the connection with Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) was observed in only six of the 28 content elements. Wherever relevant, it is proposed to incorporate key issues related to SDGs. Fourth, the analysis confirmed that only the environmental dimension of sustainable development was considered. Therefore, it is proposed to pursue coexistence based on temporal and spatial relationship and consider the dimensions of environment, society, and economy in an integrated manner.

School Adjustment of Korean-Chinese Children : Ecological Factors in Yanbian (연변 조선족 아동의 학교적응에 대한 생태학적 접근)

  • The subjects of this study were 258 Korean-Chinese parent-child dyads of an elementary school in Yanbian Province, northeastern China. Research questions covered relationships among children's school adjustment and ecological factors, significance of factors within ecological levels, and direct and indirect effects in causal relationships. Results showed significant effects within each ecological level. Achievement motivation of the individual system, home environment and social support of the microsystem, and mother's job satisfaction in the exosystem had significant relationships with children's school adjustment. Mother's education and job satisfaction influenced school adjustment through home environment; the causal relationship between social support and school adjustment was mediated by achievement motivation. Personal and general factors from each ecological level were more significant than ethnic related factors in explaining children's school adjustment.

An Analysis of the Regional Differences of Waste Generation (폐기물 배출량의 지역간 차이에 관한 분석)

  • 이 논문은 공간적 환경연구의 한 시도로서, 폐기물관리의 출발점인 폐기물 배출량의 지역간 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구명하는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구지역은 독일 노르트라인 베스트팔렌주의 396개 게마인데이며, 연구자료로는 폐기물통계, 인구 및 주택센서스 자료 그리고 폐기물처리에 관한 조례가 이용되었다. 분석결과에 의하면 가정폐기물의 1인당 배출량은 지역규모, 인구구조, 가구규모, 가옥유형, 거주공간, 경제구조 등의 지역구조와 가정폐기물의 수거제도 및 처리경로, 분리수거 등의 폐기물 관리대책에 의해서 복합적으로 영향을 받고 있었다. 또한 1인당 가정폐기물 배출량의 지역간 변동을 최대한 설명하기 위해 수행한 다중 직선회귀분석에서 지역구조나 폐기물관리와 관련된 변수들을 포함하는 유의한 회귀모델을 도출하였다. 분석결과가 시사하는 바는 폐기물은 효율적인 관리를 통해 단기간에 감량이 가능하며, 특히 지역구조에 적합한 수집함체계 및 분리수거제도의 도입 등 효율적인 수거제도를 통해 감량효과를 극대화할 수 있다는 점이다.

FAMILY ENVIRONMENT OF ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (주의력결핍 ${\cdot}$ 과잉운동장애의 가정환경에 대한 연구)

  • Objective : The authors investigated family environemtn of ADHD referred to child psychiatric clinics. Method : Seventy two patients were grouped into pure ADHD and comorbid ADHD. Patient's lither and mother conducted the Korean Form of the Family Environment Scale(K-FES). And then, scores were compared with that of 77 normal controls. Results : Among subscales of K-FES, expressiveness, achievement orientation and organization were scored significantly lower in ADHD mothers' reporting than ADHD fathers' And only organization subscale was scored significantly lower in ADHD fathers' reporting than controls' In post hoc comparison, subscales of expressiveness, moral-religious emphasis and organization were significantly lower in mothers' reporting of pure ADHD and comorbid ADHD than of controls, and only organization subscale was significantly lower in fathers' reporting of comorbid ADHD than of controls. Conclusion : Parents of ADHD patients agreed that their families were not well organized, and each perceived somewhat differently on the family environment. Further study is needed to eludicate whether specific family environment causes ADHD or is caused by behavior of ADITD patients.

Research on the Ecological System Variables Predicting Korean 4-year-olds' Cognitive Development (만4세 유아의 인지발달에 영향을 미치는 생태체계변인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in Korean 4-year-olds' cognitive development depending on variables concerning ecological system variables, predictive influences among these variables, and different predictive patterns between working mothers and non-working mothers. The subjects consisted of 998 4-year-olds, derived from the Korean Child Panel data of 2012. The results were as follows: First, 4-year-olds' cognitive development was different depending on their sex, education level of mother and father, mothers' working status, quality of home environment, and mothers' involvement in children's life in their institution. Second, mothers' involvement in children's life in their institution, children's sex, quality of home environment, and mothers' working status predicted 4-year-olds' cognitive development. Third, there was a different pattern of predictive influence among variables according to the mothers' working status. The mothers' involvement in their children's lives in their institution and children's sex was proved to be important in both, but that was more significant in working mothers, and the quality of home environment predicted cognitive development only in working mothers. These results were discussed in terms of necessity of the Korean national policy to support young children's cognitive development efficiently, especially for working mothers.
