마운트지지 구조물의 강체특성의 실험적 규명법의 개발

  • 진동구조물의 해석 또는 설계변경 등을 위해서는 구조물의 강체특성(질량, 질량중심위치, 관성모멘트, 관성적, 주축방향)을 정확히 추정할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 Direct System Identification Method를 애용하여 진동 시험으로부터 얻어진 잡음이 혼입된 데이터로 부터 특성행렬(질량행렬, 감쇄행렬, 강성행렬의총칭)을 직접 규명하는 반복계산에 의한 노이즈에 강인한 방법의 개발과 가상중심점을 이용하지 않고 실험으로 부터 얻어지는 병진성분 데이터를 직접 이용하여 강체특성을 추정하는 방법을 개발한다. 마운트 지지된 평판모델에 대한 실험적 응용과 시뮬레이션에 의한 soild 모델 응용으로 본 연구의방법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • To reduce the vibration levels, additional dissipation elements such as dry friction dampers are sometimes integrated into bladed disk assembly. In this study, forced response analysis systems for a tuned bladed disk with friction dampers were developed and verified. For the efficient nonlinear vibration analysis, multi-harmonic balanced method and cyclic boundary condition were used. Also, mode shapes obtained using fictitious mass method were used to describe the motion of the structures with the concentrated structural nonlinearity, friction damper. The relative convergence of fictitious mass and traditional unconstrained modes were compared.

  • This paper presents the stability analysis of the haptic system including a human impedance using the Routh-Hurwitz criterion. The reflective force is computed from a virtual spring model and is transferred to a human operator using the first-order-hold method. The stability boundary conditions are induced and the relation among a virtual spring ($K_w$), the mass ($M_h$), the damping ($B_h$) and the stiffness ($K_h$) of a human impedance is analyzed. Hence the stability boundary of the virtual spring ($K_w$) is proposed as $K_w{\leq}54413{\sqrt{(M_h+M_d)(B_h+B_d)}}-0.486K_h$ when the sampling time is 1 ms. The average relative error is about 0.5% when the mathematical analysis results are compared with the results of the stability boundary model.

  • Methods for evaluating the added masses of square and hexagonal structures with fluid gap are presented. For a sufficiently small fluid gap, an analytical expression for the added mass is found using the method of matched asymptotic expansion. Experimental data and numerical results using finite element method are also obtained for various sizes of fluid gap. It is shown that added masses increase in inverse proportion to the fluid gap as it becomes smaller. Experimental data, theoretical and numerical results are in good agreement.

Study on Vibration Characteristics of Fluid Tank Structure for Ship (유체 탱크 구조물의 접수 진동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In the engine room and the aft body, there are so many fluid tanks such as fresh water tank and oil tank. The vibration analysis for the fluid tank structures has to consider the added mass effect due to the fluid. However, it is known that the result of the fluid tank has the difference according to the boundary condition of the fluid field such as infinite fluid and finite fluid. In this paper, a numerical case study is carried out for the research about the vibration characteristics of the fluid tank with various fluid field. In addition, an experimental study is carried out to verify the validity of the vibration analysis for the fluid tank structure.

  • In the engine room and the aft part areas of the ship, there exist so many tank structures contacting with fresh water or sea water or oil. If these structures exhibit excessive vibrations during the sea trials, it takes a lot of cost, time and effort to improve vibration situation because the reinforcement work requires emptying the fluid out of the tanks, additional welding and special painting. It is therefore very important to predict a precise vibration characteristics of the tank structures at the design stage, however it is not easy to estimate vibration characteristics of the structures because of difficulties for accurate evaluation of the added (or virtual) mass effect due to the fluid inside the tank. In this paper, numerical and experimental approaches have been performed to present same fundamental data necessary for anti-vibration design of tank structures contacting with fluid, by investigating vibration behaviors of rectangular tank structure for various water depths.

  • 980년대로부터 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야에서 의상의 자연스러운 움직임을 생성하기 위한 연구가 계속되어 왔다. 유한요소 연속체 모델, 질량-스프링 모델과 같은 물리학적 모델이 등장하고, 수치적 적분법과 정확한 충돌 검사 및 반응처리를 접목하여 그럴듯한 옷감의 움직임을 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 이들 연구는 대개 표준적 모양 변형을 다루었기에, 두께, 질감, 빳빳한 정도 등 소재의 특성에 따른 차이를 묘사할 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 의류학을 통해 연구되어온 직물들의 소재특성을 조사분석하고, 시뮬레이션 된 가상 옷감과 실제 옷감의 시각적 유사성 평가를 통한 직물들의 특성 파라미터 추출법을 제안하고 실험하였다. 그 결과 대표적인 옷감 종류에 따라 구별되는 애니메이션 패턴을 생성 할 수 있었다.

Analysis of Pollutant tranport in the natural river using FVM (유한체적법을 이용한 하천 오염물의 이송해석)

  • 하천으로 유입된 오염물질의 거동을 정확하게 예측하는 것은 하천 시스템의 수질 유지관리에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 1차 감쇠율(decay rate)을 가진 비보존성 오염물의 비정상 이송해석 방정식의 해를 위해 유한체적기법이 개발되어졌다. 하천 흐름 해석을 위해 자연형 단면에서의 마름-젖음 해석이 가능한 기법이 도입되었다. 이 기법은 2차-정도의 정확성와 Courant 수가 1 까지 안정함을 보장한다. 도입된 기법은 Godnov 형의 유한체적기법을 이용하여 St. Venant 방정식들을 해석하였고 질량 및 운동량 플럭스는 Roe 형의 Riemann Solver 를 사용하여 연산하였다. 오염물의 이송 해석은 추가적인 이송-확산 방정식을 도입을 통해 기존의 St. Venant 방정식과 함께 풀려질 수 있다. 추가된 방정식과 St. Venant 식은 3×3 eigenstructure를 구성하였고 이는 2차원 흐름해석 기법과 유사하게 해석될 수 있었다. 본 연구 모형의 검증을 위해 오염물의 계속적 주입을 가정한 가상 및 실제 하천에 적용되었다. 연구된 기법은 모든 적용에서 합리적 정확도를 가지고 오염물질의 연속적인 특성을 잘 모의하고 있었다.

  • The 181,000 DWT Bulk Carrier has a different deck house type, which is not typical for previous bulk carriers, to meet the new international rules for bulk carriers. This new deck house has much smaller transverse breadth than the hull's transverse breath, resulting in large levels of the transverse response of the deck house. In addition, the longitudinal response of the funnel showed rather a large magnitude of vibration, which are excited by the ship's main excitations such as the main engine H-moment and the propeller surface forte when the ship operates at the NCR and the MCR speeds In the ballast condition. To solve these issues, the global forced vibration analysis has been performed for the ship and the ship structure has been modified to reduce the vibration level by increasing the girder depth and adjusting the engine room tank arrangement.

Numerical Study on Estimation of Static Configuration of Steel Lazy Wave Riser Using Dynamic Relaxation Method (동적이완법을 이용한 Steel Lazy Wave Riser의 정적형상 추정에 관한 수치해석적 연구)

  • This paper presents an estimation method for the static configuration of a steel lazy wave riser (SLWR) using the dynamic relaxation method applied to estimate the configuration of structures with strong geometric non-linearity. The lumped mass model is introduced to reflect the flexible structural characteristics of the riser. In the lumped mass model, the tensions, shear forces, buoyancy, self-weights, and seabed reaction forces at nodal points are considered in order to find the static configuration of the SLWR. The dynamic relaxation method using a viscous damping formulation is applied to the static configuration analysis. Fictitious masses are defined at nodal points using the sum of the largest direct stiffness values of nodal points to ensure the numerical stability. Various case studies were performed according to the bending stiffness and size of the buoyancy module using the dynamic relaxation method. OrcaFlex was employed to validate the accuracy of the developed numerical method.
