Effect of the Curing Temperature on Autogenous Shrinkage of the High Strength Mortar incorporating Mineral Admixtures (양생온도가 혼화재 치환 고강도 모르터의 응결 및 자기수축에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, tests were carried out to monitor the effect of the curing temperature on autogenous shrinkage of the high strength cement mortar incorporating silica fume, blast furnace slag and fly ash ranged from 10%~30% by mass of cement. The curing temperatures were varied from $5^{\circ}C$ to $35^{\circ}C$, respectively. According to results, the setting time exhibited to delay with increase of admixture and drop of temperature. As for the effect of curing temperature on autogenous shrinkage, the increase of SF and BS resulted in an increase of autogenous shrinkage, while the use of FA decrease. The higher the curing temperature is, the greater the autogenous shrinkage is. This is due to the accelerated hydration rate of cement. It is found that the maturity does not consider the effect of curing temperature on autogenous shrinkage.

  • The use of high-strength concrete in construction have been increasing steadily. However, high-strength concrete has a low water-binder ratio, and the problems such as cracks due to hydration heat and shrinkage during the hydration process at the early age. Recently, as a method to reduce the shrinkage of concrete, study of internal curing has carried out according to increasing about interest about it. In this study, the effect of compressive strength on the curing condition(drying, moist, water) was investigated by using artificial lightweight aggregate(LWA) in high strength and high volume mortar. As a result of autogenous shrinkage, the effect of shrinkage reduction was enhanced depending on the increasing of LWA replacement. According to the curing condition, the results of compressive strength showed the different trend. The compressive strength has increased on the drying and moisture condition and decreased on the water condition.

  • Construction concrete needs to maintain suitable environment which contains temperature and humidity etc. Then concrete shows own strength. The environment is not regular and contains many variables. Especially the climate element occupies many parts of variables. We have the climate environment which goes down to $-4^{\circ}C$. The factor that obstruct to construction is the failure at a construction progress. But it must be processed to be scheduled. Therefore we have to do the special care for factor of climate that obstruct to construction. We must make assurance doubly sure at the quality of concrete. We need maintenance of temperature and humidity for the hardening until the requirement period after a concrete pured in. We must do the care of curing sufficiently not to take the influence of injurious activity. This causes strength of concrete. Specific method of curing is according to each situation which is environment element. We wish to analyze curing course in construction of concrete at the paper. Also we wish to predict the problem as to consider curing and suggest the improvement plan through the paper.

Change in compressive strength of lightweight geopolymers after immersion (침지 후 경량 지오폴리머의 압축강도 변화)

  • Lightweight geopolymers were fabricated by using IGCC (integrated gasification combined cycle) slag and Si sludge which are classified as general wastes (recyclable resources). Three curing methods were tried to investigate the changes in compressive strength and density according to the curing method and immersion time. Immersion period was tried up to 21 days to observe long-term performance in water. Compressive strength of the specimens cured in oven decreased abruptly with an increase in immersion time. Compressive strength of the specimen cured in autoclave was low after 3 and 7 day immersion; however, increased rapidly after 21 day immersion. On the contrary, compressive strength of the specimen cured in autoclave and oven was high but substantially decreased after 21 day immersion. Conclusively, it was speculated that oven curing is effective for the compressive strength development at early age; however, autoclave curing is more desirable for the long-term performance in water.

  • 继续上次的论文, 这次从"老老恒言"中论述的, 老年人消化器系的附属器官和消化系统的一般养生法, 得出下面的结论. 每次进食时, 老年人宜嚼烂以后慢慢地咽下, 平常别吐唾沫. 进食后应刷呀, 从而清除牙齿间的异物, 维持牙齿健康. 平时老年人宜摄取购买方便的, 又适合自己的饮食. 并而为了更好地消化吸收, 老年人可以用蒸露法以取得饮食的气味, 且宜多食用清淡的粥. 每天宜通调大小便. 得病的话, 要非常慎重地使用药物, 同时调节饮食, 只摄取对于治疗疾病有益的饮食和药物. 平常老年人宜少量饮茶, 少量饮酒, 而且节制吸烟为佳.

Effects of Curing Temperature on the Unconfined Compressive Strength of Lime Soil Mixtures (양생온도(養生溫度)가 석회혼합토(石灰混合土)의 압축강도(壓縮强度)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • This study was conducted to investigate the strength of lime soil mixtures for varied' curing temperatures(20, 30, 40, 50, $60^{\circ}C$) and lime content (3, 6, 9, 12%) in four lime-stabilized soils(KY : Sand, MH : Sand, SS: Sandy loam. JJ : Loam). The experimental results obtained from unconfined compressive strength tests are as follows; 1. The optimum moisture content increased and maximum dry density decreased with the increase of the lime content. 2. The lime content for the maximum strength of SS and JJ soils showed at the 9 percent lime content, but KY and MH soils didn't show the tendency of increase and decrease by the lime content and curing period. The rate of decrease of the soaked unconfined compressive strength showed the lower value in accordance with lime content. 3. According to increase in curing temperatures in curing temperatures at 30, 40, 50, $60^{\circ}C$, the unconfined compressive strength of lime soil mixtures increased, the rate of increase initially increased at a rapid rate, and showed that around 120 hours were sufficient curing time to complete hardening. 4. The average maximum temperature of Korea being around $30^{\circ}C$ from July to August, thus these months are ideal construction periods to increase the strehgth of lime soil mixtures. 5. Accelerated curing times equivalent to 28-day normal curing decreased in accordance with the increase of curing temperature, and showed shorter in lime soil mixtures than soil cement. 6. Accelerated curing times versus normal curing times are formed as a linear, its slope decreased in accordance with the increase of curing temperature, it may be expressed as follows: (1). $30^{\circ}C$ : t=2.63d-1.4(r=0.99) (2). $40^{\circ}C$ : t= 1.76d-0.8(r=0.97) (3). $50^{\circ}C$ : t=1.35d-3.2(r=0.94) (4). $60^{\circ}C$ : t=0.49d+1.8(r=0.91) in which t ; Accelerated curing time d ; Normal curing time.

Later-Age Strength Prediction of Concrete With Curing Temperature (양생온도에 따른 콘크리트 장기강도 예측)

  • 본 연구는 양생온도의 영향에 따른 콘크리트의 장기강도 예측식을 개발하고, 기존에 보고된 데이터를 이용하여 제안식의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 제안식은 반응률상수 모델을 이용하였으며, 콘크리트의 장기강도에 영향을 미치는 인자로 양생온도에 따른 확산장벽의 효과를 고려하였다. 제안식을 검증하기위하여 각각의 데이터를 28일 상대강도의비로바꾸어 -0.6~59.7$^{\circ}C$ 범위의 8개의 평균 양생온도에 대해서 회귀분석하였다. 회귀분석을통해 제안식의 온도 영향계수인 반응율상수, 한계강도, 반응지수를 양생온도에 따른 함수식으로 표현하였다. 제안식은 기존의모델식에 비해 신뢰성이 높았으며, 초기재령에서는 기존의 모델식등과 큰 차이를나타내지 않았으나 장기재령으로 갈수록 제안식의 정확도가 크게 높아짐을 알 수 있었다.

  • 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지를 결합재로 사용하여 제작되는 폴리머 콘크리트 맨홀은 조기 고강도 발현, 접착성. 수밀성, 내동결융해성, 내약품성, 내마모성, 전기절연성이 우수하여 프리캐스트로 제작되는 많은 통신용 맨홀에 적용되고 있다. 폴리머 콘크리트의 결합재로 사용되는 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지는 열경화성수지로써, 자체 발열에 의해 거푸집을 탈형할 정도의 초기 경화 반응이 나타나지만, 구조물로서 요구되는 소요 강도를 발휘하기 위해서는 적정 온도에 의한 추가 양생이 반드시 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 폴리머 콘크리트의 휨 강도 시험용 공시체를 사용하여, 다양한 양생 온도 조건 및 양생기간에 따른 휨 강도를 측정하였으며, 이를 가열 촉진 양생에 의한 휨 강도와 비교하여 콘크리트가 소요 강도를 발휘하는데 요구되는 적정 온도와 기간을 도출하였다. 이를 통해 폴리머 큰크리트 맨홀의 품질 확보를 위한 생산 관리와 제품 검사를 체계적이고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하였다.

Development of Multi-scale Model for Concrete Strength Estimation using Intelligent Self-diagnostic sensor (지능형 자가진단센서를 이용한 콘크리트 강도추정을 위한 다중스케일모델 개발)

  • 본 논문은 콘크리트의 양생 강도 발현을 모니터링하기 위하여 매립형 압전 센서를 이용하여 콘크리트 내부의 임피던스 및 유도초음파 신호를 측정함으로써, 콘크리트의 양생 강도를 실시간 추정할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 임피던스 및 유도초음파 신호는 구조물의 물성을 나타내며 특히 양생 기간 중 임피던스 및 유도초음파의 변화는 해당 콘크리트 구조물의 강도변화를 나타낼 수 있다. 이를 이용하여 매립형 압전 센서로부터 저비용의 셀프 센싱 기반 임피던스 및 유도초음파를 계측하여 콘크리트의 임피던스 공진 주파수 및 유도초음파의 전달 강도를 측정하고 측정된 신호를 통하여 콘크리트 양생 강도를 추정할 수 있게 된다. 제안된 기법의 적용가능성을 검증하기 위하여 설계 압축강도 30MPa의 콘크리트 슬라브 내부에 매립형 압전 센서를 매립하고 양생기간 동안 임피던스 및 유도초음파 신호를 측정, 비교 분석 하였다. 측정된 신호 및 압축강도를 통하여 임피던스 및 유도초음파 기반 강도 추정 모델을 도출하고 보다 높은 정확도를 얻기 위해 다중스케일 강도 추정 모델을 개발하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구를 통해 매립형 압전 센서를 이용하여 콘크리트의 양생 강도를 실시간 모니터링할 수 있음이 검증되었다.
