The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of high school students' sexual media literacy awareness and sexual attitude on their gender sensitivity. The subjects of this study were 120 high school students in the city of D, all of who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. Data were collected from November 28 to December 15, 2022. and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression analysis methods using the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the study, the influential factors of gender sensitivity were sexual attitude (β=-.317, p<.001), education level of father (β=.305, p<.001), gender (β=.262, p=.001), source of sexual knowledge (β=-.252, p=.001) and awareness of sexual media literacy (β=-.143, p=.045). This study is significant in that it presents academical, practical, and policy recommendation to increase gender sensitivity, which is considered an essential competency in a future society where diversity is emphasized.

The rapid expansion of the electric vehicle market has led to increased demand for battery recycling technologies. The recycling of spent batteries is crucial to stabilize the supply of rare metals, including lithium, cobalt and nickel, which are essential components for the battery industry. In addition, the technology for recycling spent batteries can help to reduce environmental and health impacts. This review presents the theoretical principles behind the metal recovery technology and the processes that are currently commercially available. It also describes trends in research and technological developments that aim to improve existing processes, and provides an overview of where recycling technology is headed.

This study is a descriptive survey study to identify the relationship between nurse-nurse cooperation, nurse-doctor cooperation, and professional self-concept perceived by nursing students among nursing students with clinical practice experience. The subjects of the study were 140 nursing students, and the collected data were descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression analysis of the factors influencing professional self-concept. As a result of the study, professional self-concept was positively correlated with nurse-nurse cooperation and nurse-doctor cooperation, and the influencing factor of professional self-concept was nurse-nurse cooperation, with explanatory power of 48.0%. Therefore, in order to improve the nursing professional self-concept of nursing students, it is necessary to develop an educational program to enhance cooperation between professionals to promote the cooperative relationship between nurses and nurses, and to develop a curriculum for the development and application of simulation scenarios for cooperation between professionals based on clinical field cases.

This study analyzed the thinking types of pre-service chemical cell chemistry teachers according to grade and tried to find out how the education for pre-service teachers had influenced their thinking types. This study found that the pre-service education had failed to form scientific conceptions. Some pre-service teachers thought that college education couldn't help them understand the knowledge about chemical cell. In addition, they are lacking in scientific conception. Even some of them who thought college education was helpful had wrong conceptions. Most of the pre-service teachers' thoughts could not exceed the level of the high school chemistry textbooks. But, Juniors had more scientific conception than other grades through the group discussions about chemistry textbooks' contents in the course of "Theory of Science Teaching Materials". So, Pre-service education should include the pedagogical knowledge with content knowledge treated in secondary school science textbooks for educational effects.

Chilseongpul-i is a Korean shamanic myth in which the life story full of hardships of seven sons is told, until they will take up the sacredness of Chilseong god. The seven sons, who were born from Chilseongnim and his wife Okneobuin, are abandoned by their father, Chilseongnim. But sometime later they are born with new characters after going through a special growth process of suffering, dying, and rebirth. They finally recover the sacred position to save their mother. As considered by the analytical psychology, the fact that the seven sons became Chilseong gods shows an individuation process of the heroic mythology. The individuation process might be regarded as a symbol of Self-archetype of Koreans. Self-archetype functions as a healing which gets one's split heart and mind together. An imago dei of healers should be projected upon the seven gods by ancestors.

This study synthesized the literature to identify parental psychosocial impact and related factors on newborn bloodspot screening (NBS) process. A scoping review, using the framework proposed by Arksey and O'Malley (2005), was conducted. A literature search was performed of electronic databases (PubMed, CINAHL, RISS, KISS, DBpia) from 2000 to 2023. In total 749 published articles were identified, and 32 articles were included for the final analysis. Almost studies were descriptive studies using survey or interviews and only one intervention study to reduce negative psychosocial impacts was identified. Parents were experiencing negative psychosocial impacts, particularly related to how positive results were initially communicated and had difficulties accessing timely and reliable information. Findings identified that knowledge, quality and satisfaction of education and communication, information sources and providers as related factors of parental psychosocial impacts. Prenatal and postpartum repeated education, providing timely and reliable information, effective communication between health care providers and parents were key to mitigate negative psychosocial impacts. Nurses can play important roles to improve quality on NBS.

The increase in the elderly population and growing interest in skin beauty, alongside specialized scientific examination of natural substances, have led to a rise in the utilization of natural materials. This paper investigates the types of natural substances, the functionality of extracts, and extraction technologies based on the literature that utilizes natural ingredients to mitigate skin aging. To directly assess the impact of functional materials derived from natural products on skin aging mitigation, the functionality of the extracts was determined based on their ability to synthesize Procollagen and reduce MMP-1. Each natural product is categorized into plants, herbal medicines, and microalgae in the literature utilizing the above evaluation methods. This paper describes the extraction technologies for securing functional materials from each ingredient and the main outcomes, providing trends in research on extraction technologies for functional materials aimed at alleviating skin aging

The purpose of this study was to understand the degree of early recognition of myocardial infarction in adult smokers and to analyze factors related to cognition. In a descriptive survey using raw data from the 2021 Community Health Survey, 210,899 out of 229,942 people who completed the survey, excluding 18,343 subjects with insufficient responses, were selected as study subjects. Age, marital status, education level, smoking cessation plan, health examination_cancer examination, diabetes diagnosis, subjective health level, and social physical environment were significantly related to early symptoms of myocardial infarction. Based on the results of the study, active promotion and education for high-risk groups with a high risk of developing myocardial infarction are needed.

This study is a scoping review to identify the research trend on the awareness and use of artificial intelligence in the nursing field in South Korea. The methodological framework of Arskey and O'Malley was used, and studies published from 2010 to 2023 were analyzed. A total of 20 studies were used in the final review, and most of the descriptive studies were published in academic journals. The most relevant variables in artificial intelligence research were related to clinical nursing, and the literature topics were artificial intelligence recognition and readiness for the use of artificial intelligence, nursing adaptation, and artificial intelligence-related nursing ethics. This study systematically analyzed the current status of artificial intelligence in the nursing field in Korea and suggested the direction of further research. This study propose follow-up research to develop the capacity to utilize artificial intelligence in Korea's nursing clinical and educational sectors and to support its effectiveness.

The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship among sexual knowledge, sexual attitudes, and reproductive health promoting behaviors of nursing college students. The research tools utilized were sexual knowledge measurement tool by Jeon(2004), sexual attitudes measurement tool by Ho(2009), and reproductive health promoting behaviors measurement tool by Jo(2014). A total of 300 nursing college students were surveyed, and 229 responses were analyzed. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's post hoc test and pearson's correlation coefficients with IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0. Female students exhibited higher sexual knowledge, and it was evident that reproductive health promoting behavior education is appropriate during lower academic years. Additionally, the indication that higher sexual knowledge corresponds to higher reproductive health promoting behaviors suggests the ongoing necessity for sexual education to enhance reproductive health promoting behaviors. Therefore, this study could serve as foundational data for developing educational materials on reproductive health promoting behaviors for counseling and education aimed at improving nursing college students' reproductive health.
