  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for human resource management and efficient hospital management of organization by checking the effect of psychological contract of nurses on voice behavior. It is a descriptive research study that survey nurses who consented responded to the research questions. As a result, nurse practitioners showed a low level of perceptions of organizational commitment, psychological contracts, transactional contract and relational contract. There was a positive correlation between transactional contract and constructive voice(p<.05), and there was a negative correlation between relational contract and destructive voice(p<.05). Therefore, it is necessary to establish a system in which internal and external compensation can be made according to changes in roles of nurses in order to carry out new polices and organizational changes. It is also necessary to improve the organizational culture so that nurses can actively participate in policy and organizational change.

The data were collected from 200 health care workers working in the general hospital located Y city. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. The result of the stepwise multiple regression indicates the awareness predict 49.0% (F=191.98, P<.001) in the performance of standard precaution. Therefore, it is necessary to develop awareness of the standard precaution strategy program for improving the performance of standard precautions in health care workers.

The participants of 410 subjects, data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, multiple linear regression with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. The results: The mean score of nurse image(3.82), self-esteem(2.64), major satisfaction(3.76), career identity(2.64) were abve the average. Nurse image, self-esteem, major satisfaction and career identity showed a positive correlation. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the variables of self - esteem, major satisfaction, and career identity had an explanatory power(Adj R2=33.2% )on image of nurses. Study results suggested that, we propose a program for establishing a positive nurse image to improve the self - esteem, major satisfaction and career identity of nursing students.

  • This study aimed to identify the risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD) among age groups using the Framingham risk score (FRS). The research design used was a cross sectional descriptive study using the Sixth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2013-2015. Data from 5211 men, between the ages of 30-74 was analyzed. After adjusting for age, the result of logistic regression analysis showed that obesity (OR=2.51 95% CI=2.05-3.07), physical inactivity (OR=1.71, 95% CI=1.39-2.10), heavy alcohol drinking (OR=1.33, 95% CI=1.09-1.62), and dietary fiber intake (OR=0.99, 95% CI=0.98-0.99) were presented as predictors of CVD. Obesity was considered to be a particularly important predictor of CVD for young and middle-aged men. This result will be used for developing intervention relating to lifestyle modification for young and middle-aged men.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of oriental medical short term therapy on visceral fat obesity. In present study, we report 20-year-old visceral fat obesity woman who experienced oriental medical therapy program. Methods : The obese patient was treated from the 20th of June to the 3rd July. Herbal medicine, low calorie diet, electrolipolysis, auricular acupuncture, and aerobic exercise were done during the treatment period. Results : Her body weight decreased from 77.30kg to 71.15kg. The BMI decreased from $32.6kg/m^2$ to $29.5kg/m^2$. First of all, visceral fat tissue was effectively decreased after oriental obesity therapy evaluated by CT. Visceral fat tissue decreased from $123.44cm^2$ to $83.06cm^2$, subcutaneous fat tissue from $327.88cm^2$ to $323.09cm^2$. Short term oriental medical treatment could be effective in visceral fat obesity treatment. Conclusions : The patient with visceral fat obesity was improved using short term oriental medical treatment.

  • This paper presents an automatic approach to detect face and facial feature from face images based on the color information and deformable model. Skin color information has been widely used for face and facial feature diction since it is effective for object recognition and has less computational burden, In this paper, we propose how to compensates varying light condition and utilize the transformed YCbCr color model to detect candidates region of face and facial feature from color images, Moreover, the detected face facial feature areas are subsequently assigned to a initial condition of active contour model to extract optimal boundaries of face and facial feature by resolving initial boundary problem when the active contour is used, The experimental results show the efficiency of the proposed method, The face and facial feature information will be used for face recognition and facial feature descriptor.
