  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of adult attachment, responsibility attribution, and self - esteem of adult women on psychological violence in intimate relationships. For the study, we analyzed the data of 137 women collected using self - report questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the higher the level of Age(over 36 years old), love experience(more than 4 times) and attribution of responsibility, the higher the victim of psychological violence. The higher the age (over 36 years old), the love experience(more than 4 times) and adult attachment, the higher the harms of psychological violence. On the other hand, self-esteem showed no effect. Therefore, efforts should be made to reduce the psychological violence of adult women by developing intervention strategies for secure adult attachment enhancement and hostile attribution reduction.

  • This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting nursing students' adjustment to college life. 364 students from six different nursing colleges were recruited into the study. The data were collected using questionnaires about bullying, peer support, ego-resilience and adjustment to college life and were analyzed using IBM SPSS 19.0 program. Data were collected from March 3rd, 2014 to December 12th, 2015. The results indicated that bullying(r=-.24, p<.001) had a significant negative association with nursing college adaptation. And adjustment to college life was positively correlated with peer support(r=.38, p<.001) and ego-resilience(r=.69, p<.001). The significant predictors of adjustment to college life were ego-resilience (F=334.33, p<.001), peer support(F=60.86, p<.001) and bullying(F=22.03, p<.001), explaining 47% of the variance. Based on the study results, we suggest that it is necessary to develop and apply the educational strategy to improve the peer support and ego-resilience for the adjustment to college life.

  • This is a convergence study to investigate the factors affecting the physical health status of college students and to present a strategy for effective program development. The participants of this study were 200 college students in a region and collected data by self-reported questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1) The physical-health status of the college students was positively correlated with the subjective perception of health status(${\beta}=-.323$, p<.01), health awareness(${\beta}=-.278$, p<.01), gender(${\beta}=-.197$, p<.01), and breakfast habit(${\beta}=-.192$, p<.01). And the explanatory power($R_2$) by 4 variables was 33.1%. As a result, it was confirmed that strengthening subjective perception, positive reinforcement of health awareness, and habit of breakfast were important for improvement of physical health status. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a health promotion program based on the factors influencing on the physical health status and to analyze its application effect.

The results of this study showed that the treatment methods and therapeutic advantages of CAM showed a positive attitude and the recognition of the therapeutic effect on aromatherapy was somewhat higher. However, the knowledge level of aromatherapy was rather low. The students of the department of health science showed a relatively high awareness of the need for education in CAM, but aromatherapy showed a relatively low perception. Therefore, in order to reduce patient welfare and symptom in health department, it is necessary to develop knowledge training for knowledge application and effective treatment and development of clinical practice program for various treatment methods.

The participants were 26 (experimental group=13, control group=13) adult with depression and enrolled in the Regional C mental health welfare center from April to June 2018. The experimental group participated in a total of 8-session five sensory horticultural therapy once a week, and the control group provided horticultural therapy once to the desired subjects after the program. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and Mann-Whitney U test. There were statistically significant change in perceived stress (t = 3.11, p = .005), LF (t = -3.39, p = .002) and SDNN (t = -2.48, p = .025) in experimental group compared to the control group. Therefore, this therapy was effective for reduction of stress among individuals with the depressive disorder.
