A Traffic Model based on the Differentiated Service Routing Protocol (차별화된 서비스제공을 위한 트래픽 모델)

  • The current IP Routing Protocolspacket networks also need to provide the network QoS based of DiffServ, RSVP, MPLStraffic model which is standardized as IETF reference model for NGN. The first topic of this paper is to propose Traffic-Balanced Routing Protocol(TBRP) to process existing best effort traffic. TBRP will process low priority interactive data and background data which is not sensitive to dealy. Secondly Hierarchical Traffic-Traffic-Scheduling Routing Protocol(HTSRP) is also proposed. HTSRP is the hierarchical routing algorithm for backbone and access networkin case of fixed-wireless convergence network. Finally, HTSRP_Q is proposed to meet the QoS requirement when user want interactive or streaming packet service. This protocol will maximize the usage of resources of access layer based on the QoS parameters and process delay-sensitive traffic. Service classes are categorized into 5 types by the user request, such as conversational, streaming, high priority interactive, low priority interactive, and background class. It could be processed efficiently by the routing protocolstraffic model proposed in this paper. The proposed routing protocolstraffic model provides the increase of efficiency and stability of the next generation network thanks to the routing according to the characteristic of the specialized service categories.

  • One of the most important means in modem NQ (Network Quotient) emphasized society is the communication skill. Therefore, it is mostly necessary to accurately express his or her own idea and maximize own communication competence. For this, efforts on improving pronunciation accuracy, such as pronunciation stretching practice and vocal cords reflex point acupressure therapy, have been devoted for communication competence in daily life. However, objective and positive method to substantiate such efforts has not yet been studied to find if the methods can improve pronunciation accuracy in effect. We, therefore, propose an IT based method of substantiation and quantization for such pronunciation accuracy improvement methods. Voice analysis on voice data sample of 30 males in 20s, before and after pronunciation stretching practice and vocal cords reflex point acupressure, has been performed in this paper.

Pronunciation Influence Analysis of Carbonate Drink and Eucalyptus Fragrance by Applying Speech Signal Processing Techniques (음성신호 처리 기술을 적용한 탄산음료와 유칼립투스 발향이 발음에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • One of the most important means in modern NQ emphasized smart society is the communication skill. Especially, effects on improving pronunciation accuracy, it is mostly necessary to accurately express his or her own idea due to the personal relation influence 38% of voice. For this, this paper proposed the voice influence analysis of carbonate drink and eucalyptus fragrance. In particular, in the case of carbonate drink, the amounts of drinking accumulation is verified for analysing the drinking accumulation influence. Also, eucalyptus fragrance is reported for influencing the pronunciation accuracy. For this, jitter, shimmer, pitch and intensity of voice is analyzed. Finally, we accomplish an voice analysis of quantization, objective and visualization for such carbonate drink and eucalyptus fragrance.

  • After platform changed from PC-based internet to mobile, SNS became new interactive media which relaces face-to-face interaction. the SNS users have already begun to recognize SNS as daily necessity. SNS market has been subdivided. In other words, SNS has entered into a period of vertical SNS that focus on contents and specific target. Therefore, It is necessary to analyze users for SNS planners. For this reason, analyzing why office workers who have the most powerful purchasing power use SNS is meaningful for SNS planners. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the reasons for using SNS of office workers by studying relationship among office workers' stress, social support, self-expression and the use of SNS. As a result, the use of SNS has a significantly positive correlation with social support and self-expression. The self-expression in the SNS is not associated with stress, but rather it is the characteristics of the office workers. However the social support in the SNS affects to stress.

  • With the convenience of real-time conversation, multimedia file and contact sharing services, most people use instant messenger, and its usage time is increasing. Because the messengers contain a lot of user behavior information data, in the digital forensic investigation, they can be very useful evidence to identify user behavior. However, some of useful data can be difficult to acquire or recognize because they are encrypted or deleted. Thus, in order to use the messenger data as evidence, the study of message decryption process and message recovery is essential. In this paper, we analyze the database encryption process of the instant messenger, MalangMalang Talkafe, and propose the method to decrypt it. In addition, we propose the methods to identify the deleted messages and recover from the volatile memory area.

  • In this paper, we implement a distributed computing environment-based travel information service that can use web(internet) and speech interface at the same time and can apply location information, using voice and web browser-based VoiceXML and GPS, to escape the limitations of traditional web(internet)-based travel information services. Because of IVR(Interactive Voice Response) of traditional call center has operated to a pre-installation scenario, it takes much a service time and has the inconveniences that must repeat speech recording according to the revised scenarios in case change response contents. However, suggested VoiceXML and GPS-based travel information service system has advantages that reorganization of system setups is easy, because it consists of the method to update server after make individual conversation scenarios by file format(document), and can provide usefully various travel information in environmental restriction conditions such as the back regions environment, according as our prototype find user's present location using GPS information and then provide various travel information service by this information.

  • A process control graphic system is proposed as an efficient tool for monitoring the operation of power plant. It uses the multi-processor structure with 60 Kbyte shared memory as an implemental type of the distributed computer system, so that it is flexible, functionally extensible, and applicable to real-time process. The shared memory is used as a real-time database handling the process values and operator's commands. The database files, generated by the user-interactive graphic editor developed for the system or text editor, have the characteristics of simplicity and user-friendliness. The process control graphic system, that can monitor the operation of boiler and function as a backup controller in case of failure in boiler controller, is applied to Ulsan power plant. As a result, it displays the operating data of the boiler process without error by 14 pages of color graphic image according to the operation menu, and additionally functions well as a fault-tolerant control system.

Adaptive Timeout Scheduling for Energy-Efficient, Reliable Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Network (무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지 효율적이고 신뢰성이 높은 데이터 병합을 위한 적응적 타임아웃 스케줄링 기법)

  • In wireless sensor networks, a sensor node with in-network aggregation adjusts the timeout which is a waiting time to receive messages from child nodes. This paper proposes a novel timeout scheduling scheme for data aggregation in wireless sensor networks, which adaptively configures its timeout according to changing data patterns in order to improve energy efficiency and data accuracy during data aggregation. The proposed scheme decreases the timeout when the temporal difference of collected data(data variation) from children is lower than a pre-defined threshold because there is no occurrence of critical events. Conversely, it increases the timeout when the data variation is higher than the pre-defined threshold in order to fulfill more accurate data aggregation. Extensive simulation reveals that the proposed scheme outperforms the cascading-based scheme in terms of energy consumption and data accuracy.

  • This paper discusses the development of an interactive and graphic software for the education and training of power system operation and control, especially for students and beginners. This software has a lot of functions for users to simulate the power system operation and control with ease. These functions included in this software are followings. First, this software includes a Graphic User Interface (GUI) - which contains interactive simulation scheme, Windows dialog box, graphic representations, and graphic icons - so that users can handle the software in user-friendly environments. Second, it uses a graphic editor so that users can easily edit the one-line diagram of the power system. Third, it prepares a database system so that users can manage the power system data for simulation easily. Fourth, the application modules included in the software are the Economic Dispatch (ED) and the Automatic Load-Frequency Control (ALFC). These application modules are designed as independent modules. Using the ED module, users can understand the basic concepts of the ED with ease. And using the ALFC module, they can easily acquire the basic understanding of the response of the ALFC between the two-area systems. The proposed software is tested on both the 16 bus and the two-area sample system. The test has confirmed the functions of the developed software. It is anticipated that the software will be useful for the education and training of power system operation and control for the power engineering study at university or for the training of the beginner at power industry.

  • In conventional game systems, virtual environments usually have just the role of a background without the direct relationships for game characters. nev do not consider the semantics about virtual environments. In this paper, we develop a game navigation system that provides semantic information about virtual environments including geographical, historical or my other location-dependent information. Then, the game character obtains the geographical location and its related information when it navigates through a virtual environment. It can be an implementation method for a semantic virtual environment because it can have the environment maintain its semantics depending on the specific location. In addition, we describe a method that can control a character's motion in the semantic virtual environment interactively, and that can input specific information according to the location of the character.
