An Interactive Multi-criteria Group Decision Making with the Minimum Distance Measure (최소 거리척도를 이용한 대화형 다기준 그룹 의사결정)

  • The multi-criteria group decision making (MCGDM) problem is to determine the best compromise solution in a set of competing alternatives that are evaluated under conflicting criteria by decision maker (DM)s. In this paper, we propose a mixed-integer programming (MIP) model to solve MCGDM. The existing method based on minimizing a distance measure such as Median Approach can not guarantee the best compromise solution because the element of median point vector is defined with respect to each criteria separately. However, by considering all criteria simultaneously, we generate median point that is better for locating the best compromise solution. We also utilize the concept of spatial dispersion index (SDI) to produce a threshold value, which is used as a guideline to choose either the Utopian Approach or the Median Approach. And we suggest using CBITP (Convex hull of individual maxima Based Interactive Tchebycheff Procedure) to provide DMs with various Pareto-optimal solutions so that DMs have broad range of selection.

  • 시간정보추출 연구는 자연어 문장으로부터 대화의 문맥과 상황을 파악하고 사용자의 의도에 적합한 서비스를 제공하는데 중요한 역할을 하지만, 한국어의 고유한 언어적 특성으로 인해 한국어 텍스트에서는 개체간의 시간관계를 정확하게 인식하기 어려운 경향이 있다. 특히, 시간표현이나 사건에 대한 상대적인 시간관계는 시간 문맥을 체계적으로 파악하기 위해 중요한 개념이다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 자연어 문장에서 상대적인 시간표현과 사건 간의 관계를 추출하기 위한 LSTM(long short-term memory) 기반의 상대시간관계 추출 모델을 제안한다. 시간정보추출 연구에는 TIMEX3, EVENT, TLINK 추출의 세 가지 과정이 포함되지만, 본 논문에서는 특정 문장에 대해서 이미 추출된 TIMEX3 및 EVENT 개체를 제공하고 상대시간관계 TLINK를 추출하는 것만을 목표로 한다. 또한, 사람이 직접 태깅한 한국어 시간정보 주석 말뭉치를 대상으로 LSTM 기반 제안모델들의 상대적 시간관계 추출 성능을 비교한다.

  • In the face of crisis in the news media industry, many people prospect that new technology can save it. But there is no discussion about how new technology works and what is its limitations and which direction of development is needed. In view of media, this article analyzed 'news chatbot' as new technology. Firstly, this article defined bot and discussed bot's agency based on actor network theory. Secondly, it analysed bots which are acting as media and discussed features of the messenger platform as a communication tool. Thirdly, it presents examples of news chatbot and analyzed how they work. Finally, it predicts the future of news chatbot and discussed the possibility of journalism.

  • The text has always been an important recording channel for the development of human civilization. The delete text function is essential. The current method of deleting text is to "press" the delete button to complete the operation. It does not meet the user's need to delete large amounts of text. This article focuses on a new interactive approach to this problem. We consider problems and find solutions from the perspective of zero-order position control and first-order rate control. Through experimental design analysis and comparison, the new keyboard interaction method greatly improves efficiency and user experience. This article hopes to evaluate the usability of the new keyboard through usability studies.

  • Fatigue strength, electrical conductivity and stress-corrosion-cracking resistance are considered as important factors at aircraft Al alloys, therefore Al7050 alloy has been developed to improve such properties. However, hammer-forged Al7050 parts showed the undesirable structures such as severe local grain coarsening and inhomogeneous material flow, resulted in the degraded mechanical properties. In this paper, process conditions are investigated for elimination of the grain coarsening and improved material flow during forging process by both of experiments and FEM analysis. Particular interest has been given to understand role of preform shape on the grain coarsening behavior and magnitude of the hammer forging load The use of preform has been beneficial for reduction of the forging load and elimination of the grain coarsening. However, in the cases of as received bar and the round bar, which was machined to 2.5mm thickness in surface layer, some degree of local grain coarsening behavior has been observed. The optimized preform shape could be properly designed by applying the FEM simulation.

  • Nowadays, the more complicated the society become, the more spreaded individualism is. Moreover, since a number of old people living alone are increasing, human friendly robots for home entertainments are required. Conventional home robots having same behavior for a user's order can't give us funny. In this paper, a robot system based on emotion model for home entertainments is proposed. The proposed system has various behavior for a same order depending on the emotional state such as happy, angry, lovely and joyful grades.

  • In order to successfully develop papers and have them published in notable academic journals, researchers need to be fully informed and prepared regarding the challenges publication of papers present. This study focuses on approaches for improving likelihood of publication. It first examines the development process of papers and then addresses the importance of successful revisions after the review process. It then identifies several factors which can influence the performance of papers. Finally, it concludes by offering several implications for developing papers as well as suggestions for future research.

  • An interactive and iterative control panel layout method based on the constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) technique was developed to generate an ergonomically sound panel design. This control panel layout method attempts to incorporate a variety of relevant ergonomic principles and design constraints, and generate an optimal or, at least, a "satisfactory" solution through an efficient search algorithm. The problem of seeking an ergonomically sound panel design should be viewed as a multi-criteria design problem and most of the design objectives should be understood as constraints. Hence, a CSP technique was employed in this study for dealing with the multi-constraints layout problem. The efficient search algorithm using "preprocess" and "look_ahead" procedures was developed to handle vast amount of computation. In order to apply the CSP technique to the panel layout procedure, the ergonomic principles such as spatial compatibility, frequency-of-use, importance, functional grouping, and sequence-of-use were formalized as CSP terms. The effectiveness of the proposed panel layout method was evaluated by example problems and the results clearly showed that the generated layouts properly considered various ergonomic design principles.

  • Decay usage scheduling algorithm gives preference to processes that have consumed little CPU in the recent past. It has been widely-used in time-sharing systems such as UNIX, where CPU-intensive processes and interactive processes are mixed. However, there has been no sound understanding about the mixed effects of decay usage parameters on the service performance. This paper empirically analyzes their effects in terms of the resulting service bandwidth and delay Based on such empirical analysis, we derive the clear meaning of each parameter. Such analysis and understanding provides a basis of controlling decay usage parameters for desirable service provision as required by applications.

  • A kinetic model fur the particle coarsening behavior was developed. The proposed model considered the critical particle size which can be derived from Gibbs-Thomson equation unlike the conventional approach. In this study, the proposed particle coarsening model was applied to study the coarsening behavior of titanium nitride (TiN particle) in microalloyed steel weld HAZ. Particle size distributions and mean particle size by the proposed model were in agreement with the experimental results. Meanwhile, using additivity rule, the isothermal model was extended to predict particle coarsening behavior during continuous thermal cycle.
