Medical Records are the clinical chronicles of Korean Medicine. It not only has value as historical documentation, but also has value in clinical use. If studies of medical records that contain specific methods for tackling diseases are accompanied, it will be easier to clearly see the internal development process of Korean Medical History. This paper was written in order to achieve these goals by reporting the thoughts on the necessity and meaning of studying Medical Records.

세계 각국의 노동자조직인 ICEF(세계화학에너지 일반노연)는 7월8일~10일까지 3일간 스위스 제네바에서 고무ㆍ플라스틱 부회 총회가 개최되었다. 동총회에는 미국, 서독, 영국, 프랑스, 이태리, 스웨덴, 일본 등 14개국에서 69명이 참석하여, ①투자, 고용, 단체교섭의 현황과 전망,②기술혁신의 도입과 생산공정에 관하여, ③다국적기업대책, ④직업위생문제와 ICEF 방침 등의 주요의제를 토의하였다. 이중 다국적기업대책에 대해서는 의안서중에서 본부가 「고무 산업과 대기업」(Goodyear, Michelin, Dunlop-Pirelli, Firestone, B.F. Goodrich, Bridgstone, Uniroyal)이라는 제하의 보고문을 정리한 것이 있어 이를 소개하고자 한다.<편집자주>

Starting in YiXueZhengZhuan("醫學正傳"), through analyzing of the nature of apoplexy in YuTuan undertook the task of unifying the medical theories of previous J inYuan(金元) times. In YiAn(醫案), YuTuan recognized the importance of discerning Full and Empty(虛-Heo, 實-Sil).

Background: Liu-Yuan-Lei(陸淵雷) said that a medical record is both the marks of treatments and arts made by a excellent practitioner and the essence of TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine). Jiang-Guan(江瓘) also said that reading medical records is one of the best way to develop one’s abilities If curing a disease without perfect clinical practice. Objectives: study on the special treatment about metrostaxis(崩漏) based on the Yi-Da-Gan(易大艮)’s medical records. and study on the differentiation of abnormal symptoms and signs about cold syndrome with pesudo-heat(眞寒假熱) based on the Yu-Chang(喩昌)'s medical records. Methods: First, read and study the medical records on metrostaxis(崩漏) of that made a profound study by Yi-Da-Gan(易大艮) and cold syndrome with pesudo-heat(眞寒假熱) of that made a profound study by Yu-Chang(喩昌). The next, write a paper on results and conclusions. Results and Conclusions: First, Yi-Da-Gan(易大艮) insist that must control the Qi under the blood disease conditions, taking the case of metrostaxis(崩漏). Secondly, we must study more on estimating the changing condition of Qi and the blood as time goes by, also study on the pulse and pulse condition in the four seasons(四時脈). Thirdly, Yu-Chang(喩昌) insist that be more careful in differentiation of symptoms and signs, taking the case of cold syndrome with pesudo-heat(眞寒假熱). Fourthly, Yu-Chang(喩昌) give an example that in condition of cold syndrome with pesudo-heat(眞寒假熱), sometimes, the pulse and pulse condition can be strong.

We have known that "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)" had been written by Yanggyeju(楊繼洲) in Myeong(明) Dynasty. And it had been the only text book of acupuncture & moxibustion for 300 years. This book is composed of 10 chapters dealing almost all the medical theories of that times. This book is so enormous that it is hard to understand essential ideas of author. The reading medical records is one of the best way to develop one's abilities of curing a disease without clinical practice. so we can't help dealing with medical records, because it is one of important method of understanding Oriental Medicine. On this study, we investigate a objective method on understanding medical records in "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)".

Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to investigate the educational meaning of Shanghanjiushilun in Shanghanlun education. Methods : The formal characteristics in medical records were compared between Shanghanjiushilun and the other 5 kinds of medical record books and the educational meaning was drawn by analysing medical records of Shanghanjiushilun a little more deeply. Resultss & Conclusions : 1. In a formal aspect, although Shanghanjiushilun is inferior to Liuduzhou's Clinical Medical Records Selection, it has merits in that it explains through quoting medical literature. 2. Xushuwei explained treatment based on syndrome differentiation in the new point of view in Shanghanjiushilun. 3. Through Shanghanjiushilun medical records Xushuwei's work to explain treatment based on syndrome differentiation in Shanghanlun in the new perspective is an effort to read medical classics to keep up with the times and has sufficient educational significance.

To recognize continued speech, it is necessary to segment the connected acoustic signal into phonetic units. In this paper, as a parameter to detect the transition regions in continued speech, we propose a new noramlized AMDF. The suggested parameter represents a change rate of magnitude of speech signals. As comparing this value with the adjactent frames value the state of the frames can be distinguished as a level between the steady state and transient state.

종래부터 공작기계의 성능은 그 공작기계가 발휘하는 가공정도와 가공능률이라고 하는 막연한 개념으로 취급되어 왔으나, 최근 가공정도나 가공능률을 저해하는 제현상, 예를 들면 채터나 열변형 등에 관한 정력적인 연구가 진행되면서 이들이 발생기구가 명확히 됨과 동시에 이들 제현상의 발생한계로부터 가공성능을 정량적으로 평가 해왔다. 그러나 연구보고라는 말의 성격상 연구의 대부분이 특정 현상이나 요소에 대하여 기술한 것이기 때문에 제 현상을 총괄하여 공작기계의 성능을 체계화한 것이라고볼 수는 없다. 여기서 공작물의 물림조건에서 발생 되고 있는 여러가지 문제점 중에서 척킹(chucking)된 공작물의 물림강성이 채터 진동의안정한계, 즉 가공한계에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 선삭가공에서 척 가공방식이 일반적으로 널리사용되고 있다는 점을 감안할 때 매우 중요한 과제이다. 그 중에서도 척에 물린 공작물의 경우에는 절삭저항의 작용위치와 죠의상대적인 위치에 의한 공작물 강성의 변화가 가공정도에 커다란 영향을 미친다는 것이 오래 전부터 지적되고있느 사항 중의 하나이다. 따라서 척-공작물계의 동적인 특성이 절삭현상에 미치는 영향에 대하여 동적인 관점에서 검토할 필요가 있다.

Man-Byeong-Hoi-Chun(萬病回春) is the principal book of Gong Tingxian who was a physician in the time of Ming(明) dynasty. It has been widely used in Korea and Japan. We recently analyzed the case reports in the book and found that he made some prescriptions by day and night separately. The method was based on the Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop(朝夕補法) by 薛己. We thought that it was an important key to his ideas in medicine. So we reviewed the origin and the basic principles of Jo-Seok-Bo-Beop and considered the clinical usages.
