The effects of device geometry and layout on high speed performance such as current gain outoff frequency(f$_{T}$) and maximum oscillation frequency(f$_{max}$) are of very improtant for the scaling-down of geterojunction bipolar transistors(HBT$_{s}$). In this paper AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs are fabricated by MBE epitaxial growth and conventional mesa process, and the experimental data of emitter-base geometru dependency of HBT performance are presented in order to provide the quantitative information for optimum device structure design. It is shown that f$_{T}$ and f$_{max}$ are inversely proportional to the emiter stripe width, while the low emitter perimeter/area ratio is better to f$_{T}$ and worse ot f$_{max}$. It is also demonstrated the f$_{T}$ and f$_{max}$ are highly improved by the emitter-base spacing reduction resulting in less parsitic effects. As the result f$_{T}$ of 42GHz and f$_{max}$ of 23GHz are obtained for fabricated HBT with emitter area of 3${\times}20^{\mu}m^{2}$ and E-B spacing of 0.2$\mu$m.m.m.
Various types of accelerators, thiuram (TMTD), thiazole (MBTS), and sulfenamide (CBS) are added into a silica filled natural rubber (NR) compound. Their effects on vulcanization properties are also investigated. TMTD shows a fast vulcanization rate and a higer maximum torque ($T_{max}$), as well as excellent mechanical properties (hardness, 300% modulus, tensile strength, elongation). MBTS shows a moderate vulcanization rate, a lower $T_{max}$, and mechanical properties. Finally, CBS shows a slow vulcanization rate but excellent mechanical properties. The same vulcanization trend can be found in carbon black filled NR compounds.

Based on the known results of the expected busy periods for the triadic Min (N, T, D) and Max (N, T, D) operating policies applied to a controllable M/G/1 queueing model, a relation between them is constructed. Such relation is represented in terms of the expected busy periods for the simple N, T and D, and the dyadic Min (N, T), Min (T, D) and Min (N, D) operating policies. Hence, if any system characteristics for one of the two triadic operating policies are known, unknown corresponding system characteristics for the other triadic operating policy could be obtained easily from the constructed relation.

In this study, to maximize RF performance of MOSFETs, $f_T$ and $f_{max}$ dependent data on $W_u$ are measured and newly analyzed by extracting small-signal model parameters. From the physical analysis results, it is found that a peak value of $f_T$ is generated by $W_u$-independent parasitic gate-bulk capacitance at narrow $W_u$ and the wide width effect of reducing the increasing rate of transconductance at wide $W_u$. In addition, it is revealed that a maximum value of $f_{max}$ is caused by the non-quasi-static effect that the gate resistance is greatly reduced at narrow $W_u$ and becomes constant at wide $W_u$.
It was investigated on the relationship of the rice blast epidemics and the real-time meteorological factors, at the experimental paddy field in 1997. Weather factors(temperature, relative humidity, irradiation, precipitation, the direction of wind, wind speed, soil temperature and leaf-wetness, etc) were measured by using the automated weather station. The most influenced weather factor to blast epidemics, was the average max-temp($R^2$= 0.95) during 10 days before leaf blast epidemics, while the least thing was wind speed($R^2$= 0.24). The most potential weather factors correlated with the blast epidemics were T-ave(average temperature), T-max(maximum temperature), RH(Relative Humidity) and RD(Relative Humidity > 90% hrs). A statistics model(the regression equation) of the blast epidemics with the potential weather factors, was established as tallows ; Y = -3410.91 - 23.91 $\times$ T-ave + 28.56 $\times$ T-max + 41.0 $\times$ RH - 3.75 $\times$ RD, ($R^2$= 0.99). (T-ave >= 19$^{\circ}C$, T-max - T-ave >= 5.2$^{\circ}C$ and RH% >= 90.4%). According to the fitness test($\chi$$^2$) of the model, the observed blast disease severity was quite close to those expected.
Purpose. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the patient's occlusion and a cracked tooth by using T-scan occlusal analysis and a quantitative light-induced fluorescence (QLF) technology. Materials and methods. This study was carried out on 51 patients having cracked teeth between January, 2019 and December, 2020. The tooth crack was determined with a Q-ray pen and QLF parameters (ΔFmax and ΔRmax) were obtained by a Q-ray software. T-scan tests were conducted to all subjects and then, the occlusal force and disclosing time were analyzed. Mann-Whitney U test was performed to compare the occlusal force and disclosing time between cracked teeth groups and contra-lateral normal teeth groups (α = .05). Mann-Whitney U test was performed to compare ΔFmax and ΔRmax according to the results of cold/bite tests (α = .05). A Spearman correlation analysis was run to determine the relationship between ΔFmax or ΔRmax and occlusal force or disclosing time (α=.05). Results. The mean occlusal force and disclosing time were significantly higher on cracked teeth than on normal teeth (P < .05). The ΔFmax or ΔRmax were not significantly different according to the results of cold/bite tests (P > .05). There was no correlation between ΔFmax or ΔRmax and occlusal force or disclosing time (P > .05). Conclusion. There was a significant relationship between occlusion and cracked tooth syndrome. QLF has the potential to be a valuable tool for the diagnosis of tooth crack in clinical practice.

This study was carried out to compare the bioavailability of $Ceclex^{(R)}$ SR TAB (test drug, cefaclor 375 mg/Tablet) with that of Ceclor $MR^{(R)}$ SR IAB (reference drug) and to estimate the pharmacokinetic parameters of cefaclor in healthy Korean volunteers. The bioavailability was examined on 24 healthy volunteers who received a single dose (375 mg) of each drug in the fasting state in a randomized balanced 2-way crossover design. After dosing, blood samples were collected for a period of 7 hours. Plasma concentrations of cefaclor were determined using HPLC with UV detection. The pharmacokinetic parameters $(AUC_{0-7h},\;C_{max},\;T_{max},\;AUC_{inf},\;K_e,\;t_{1/2},\;V_d/F,\;and\;CL/F)$ were calculated with non-compartmental pharmacokinetic analysis. The ANOVA test was utilized for the statistical analysis of the $T_{max}$, log-transformed $AUC_{0-7h$}$, log-transformed $C_{max},\;t_{1/2},\;V_d/F$, and $CL/F$. The ratios of geometric means of $AUC_{0-7h}\;and\;C_{max}$ between test drug End reference drug were $95.67\%\;(8.55\;vs\;8.18{\mu}g{\cdot}hr/ml)\;and\;103.86\%\;(2.85\;vs\;2.96{\mu}g/ml)$, respectively. The $T_{max}$ of test drug and reference drug was $2.56\pm0.15\;and\;2.23\pm0.13\;hrs,\;respectively.\;The\;90\%$ confidence intervals of mean difference of logarithmic transformed $AUC_{0-7h}\;and\;C_{max}$ were log0.90-log1.04 and log0.91-log1.13, respectively. It shows that the bioavailability of test drug is equivalent with that of reference drug.

The pharmacokinetics of erythromycin (EM) after oral administration was studied in the cultured olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, using LC/MS/MS. After single- or multiple-dose administration of EM (50, 100, 200 mg/kg body weight and 50 mg/kg for 5 days) by oral route in olive flounder ($350{\pm}40g$, $22{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$), the concentration in the serum was determined at 1, 3, 6, 9, 24, 72, 120, 168, 264, 360, 504 and 720 h post-dose. The kinetic profile of absorption, distribution and elimination of EM in serum were analyzed fitting to a two-compartment model by WinNonlin program. The area under the concentration-time curve (AUC), maximum concentration ($C_{max}$), time for maximum concentration ($T_{max}$) following oral administration of 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg b.w. and 50 mg for 5 days. EM was $165.3hr^*{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ ($C_{max}$, $34.63{\mu}g/m{\ell}$; $T_{max}$, 1.56 hr), $212.8hr^*{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ ($C_{max}$, $60.38{\mu}g/m{\ell}$; $T_{max}$, 3.99 hr), and $592.37hr^*{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ ($C_{max}$, $63.01{\mu}g/m{\ell}$; $T_{max}$, 4 hr), respectively. The results of this study related to dosage and ${\mu}{\cdot}$withdrawal times could be used for prescription of EM in field for the treatment of bacterial diseases in olive flounder.
A bioequivalence study of the $Kerola^{\circledR}$ intramuscular injections (Dongkwang Pharmaceutical Co., Korea) to the $Tarasyn^{\circledR}$ intramuscular injections (Roche Co., Korea), formulations of ketorolac tromethamine (KTR), was conducted. Sixteen healthy Korean male subjects were received each formulation at the dose of 30 mg as KTR in a $2{\times}2$ crossover study. There was an one-week washout period between the doses. Plasma concentrations of KTR were monitored by a HPLC method. AUC was calculated by the linear trapezoidal method. $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ were compiled from the plasma drug concentration-time data. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that there are no differences in AUC, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ between the formulations. The differences between the formulations in these parameters were all far less than 20% (i.e., 3.65, 2.59 and 4.35% for AUC, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ respectively). Minimum detectable differences (%) at ${\alpha}=0.1$ and $1-{\beta}=0.8$ were 12.87, 13.44, 20.62%, for AUC, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$, respectively. The 90% confidence intervals for these parameters were also within 20%. These results satisfy the bioequivalence criteria of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) guidelines (No. 1998-86). Therefore, these results indicate that the two formulations of KTR are bioequivalent.
Bioequivalence study of two cefpodoxime preparations, the test drug ($Banan^{\circledR}$: Hanil Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and the reference drug ($Podox^{\circledR}$: Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), was conducted according to the guidelines of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Sixteen healthy male volunteers, $23.8{\pm}2.13$ years old and $63.34{\pm}4.84kg$ of body weight in average, were divided randomly into two groups and administered the drug orally at the dose of 200 mg as cefpodoxime proxetil in a $2{\times}2$ crossover study. Plasma concentrations of cefpodoxime were analysed by HPLC method for 12 hr after administration. The $AUC_{0-12hr}$ was calculated by the linear trapezoidal rule method. The $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$ were compiled directly from the plasma drug concentration-time data. Student's t-test indicated no significant differences between the formulations in these parameters. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that there were no differences in AUC, $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$ between the formulations. The apparent differences between the formulations were far less than 20% (e.g., 4.31, 1.99 and 4.30% for AUC, $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$, respectively). Minimum detectable differences (%) between the formulations at ${\alpha}=\;0.05$ and $1-{\beta}=\;0.8$ were less than 20% (e.g., 13.89, 13.88, and 16.97% for AUC, $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$, respectively). The 90% confidence intervals for these parameters were also within ${\times}20%$ (e.g., $-5,58{\sim}14.20$, $-7.89{\sim}11.88$, and $-7.78{\sim}16.38%$ for AUC, $C_{max}$, and $T_{max}$, respectively). These results satisfied the bioequivalence criteria of KFDA guidelines, indicating that the two formulations of cefpodoxime were bioequivalent.
