Myxococcus stipitatus, a myxobacterium, forms spherical fruiting bodies with stems on edaphic substrates in enrichment cultures for isolation. However, an agar medium on which purely isolated strains of M. stipitatus form this type of fruiting bodies has not been known until now. In this study, since M. stipitatus DSM 14675 forms a hemispherical fruiting body-like structure on CYS agar medium, the effects of CYS medium components on fruiting body formation were investigated. Based on the results obtained, an agar medium on which M. stipitatus forms spherical fruiting bodies with stems was developed. Additionally, a liquid medium in which M. stipitatus grows in a dispersed manner was also formulated in this investigation.
As software development technology evolves, the quality of software has increased. But software created through sophisticated technology is still defective. The developer will be aware of the defect through a bug report and the reported defect must be fixed as soon as possible for the software to function correctly. It is important to know which component of the program is related to the reported defect and should be fixed. However, even though the developer understands the developed software, the task of tracing faults is a time-consuming task and requires effort. Therefore, if there is a way for developers to support tracing faults, they could fix defects more quickly. Because fixing defects rapidly is a factor of software reliability, fault traceability is essential and an effective method is needed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a model-based fault traceability enhancement technique by using bug report and commit information and verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
Purpose: This study measured the mental health levels of 119 paramedics, and identified the association of mental health levels with safety environments, personal protective equipment, and coronavirus risk awareness. Methods: A total of 119 out of 428 from Daegu and Gyeongbuk took part in this study. The statistical analysis methods were the t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results: In a multiple regression analysis, females (β=-.137, p=<.001) showed a higher relevance to negative mental health than males. The moderate satisfied (β=-.088, p=.014) and dissatisfied (β=-.147, p=.006) showed a higher relevance to negative mental health than higher satisfied. Moderate stress perception (β=-.199, p=<.001) and higher stress perception (β=-.414, p=<.001) showed a higher relevance to negative mental health than lower stress perception. Corona-virus risk awareness (β=-.050, p=.045) was related to negative mental health and safety environment (β=.136, p=<.001). Personal protective equipment (β=.147, p=<.001) were related to positive mental health. Conclusion: Conclusively, it is necessary to develop and implement high-quality intervention programs using significantly influencing variables to impact the mental health of 119 paramedics.

In this paper, we propose an image encryption method using two linear MLCA(Maximum Length Cellular Automata). The encryption method first sets arbitrary 8 bit initial values. Next, we create high quality PN(pseudo noise) sequences by converting rows and columns with the set initial values. Then we generate a basis image using the set PN sequences. Lastly, the final image with high encryption level is produced by XOR operating the basis image and the original image. In order to verify that the proposed method has the high encryption level, we performed histogram and stability analysis.

With the spread of smart manufacturing, one of the key topics of the 4th industrial revolution, manufacturing systems are moving beyond automation to smartization using artificial intelligence. In particular, in the existing automatic machining, a number of machining defects and non-processing occur due to tool damage or severe wear, resulting in a decrease in productivity and an increase in quality defect rates. Therefore, it is important to measure and predict tool life. In this paper, ν-ASVR (ν-Asymmetric Support Vector Regression), which considers the asymmetry of ⲉ-tube and the asymmetry of penalties for data out of ⲉ-tube, was proposed and applied to the tool wear prediction problem. In the case of tool wear, if the predicted value of the tool wear amount is smaller than the actual value (under-estimation), product failure may occur due to tool damage or wear. Therefore, it can be said that ν-ASVR is suitable because it is necessary to overestimate. It is shown that even when adjusting the asymmetry of ⲉ-tube and the asymmetry of penalties for data out of ⲉ-tube, the ratio of the number of data belonging to ⲉ-tube can be adjusted with ν. Experiments are performed to compare the accuracy of various kernel functions such as linear, polynomial. RBF (radialbasis function), sigmoid, The best result isthe use of the RBF kernel in all cases

Support vector regression (SVR) is devised to solve the regression problem by utilizing the excellent predictive power of Support Vector Machine. In particular, the ⲉ-insensitive loss function, which is a loss function often used in SVR, is a function thatdoes not generate penalties if the difference between the actual value and the estimated regression curve is within ⲉ. In most studies, the ⲉ-insensitive loss function is used symmetrically, and it is of interest to determine the value of ⲉ. In SVQR (Support Vector Quantile Regression), the asymmetry of the width of ⲉ and the slope of the penalty was controlled using the parameter p. However, the slope of the penalty is fixed according to the p value that determines the asymmetry of ⲉ. In this study, a new ε-insensitive loss function with p1 and p2 parameters was proposed. A new asymmetric SVR called GSVQR (Generalized Support Vector Quantile Regression) based on the new ε-insensitive loss function can control the asymmetry of the width of ⲉ and the slope of the penalty using the parameters p1 and p2, respectively. Moreover, the figures show that the asymmetry of the width of ⲉ and the slope of the penalty is controlled. Finally, through an experiment on a function, the accuracy of the existing symmetric Soft Margin, asymmetric SVQR, and asymmetric GSVQR was examined, and the characteristics of each were shown through figures.
Purpose: This study aimed to assign weights for subscales and items of the Post-Intensive Care Syndrome questionnaire and suggest optimal cut-off values for screening unplanned hospital readmissions of critical care survivors. Methods: Seventeen experts participated in an analytic hierarchy process for weight assignment. Participants for cut-off analysis were 240 survivors who had been admitted to intensive care units for more than 48 hours in three cities in Korea. We assessed participants using the 18-item Post-Intensive Care Syndrome questionnaire, generated receiver operating characteristic curves, and analysed cut-off values for unplanned readmission based on sensitivity, specificity, and positive likelihood ratios. Results: Cognitive, physical, and mental subscale weights were 1.13, 0.95, and 0.92, respectively. Incidence of unplanned readmission was 25.4%. Optimal cut-off values were 23.00 for raw scores and 23.73 for weighted scores (total score 54.00), with an area of under the curve (AUC) of .933 and .929, respectively. There was no significant difference in accuracy for original and weighted scores. Conclusion: The optimal cut-off value accuracy is excellent for screening of unplanned readmissions. We recommend that nurses use the Post-Intensive Care Syndrome Questionnaire to screen for readmission risk or evaluating relevant interventions for critical care survivors.

This paper presents a method of independent pulse repetition frequency(PRF) generation and control for frequency phase calibration on mono-pulse radar at a remote location. In order to generate an independent PRF signal of 320[Hz], pulse width modulation(PWM) of 16-bit timer/counter was applied. For a precision control of PRF signal, 16-bit timer/counter interrupt was changed for each period. Therefore, average frequency of PRF could be controlled by 0.0001[Hz]. To calibrate a frequency phase of mono-pulse radar at a remote location, the proposed PRF generator with a precision control of frequency was used regardless of receiving PRF signal from a radar. For the verification of the proposed PRF generator, theoretical analysis and experimental results are included.
A whole-body compression garment (WBCG) is mainly used for cosmetic purpose in Korea. Another case for wearing the WBCG would be while exercising because it allows the body to move easily. But physiological effects of wearing WBCG to the body have not been known much. To investigate whether wearing WBCG would be helpful for conducting exercises, we measured physiological criteria, which could be influenced by the compression, such as cardiovascular and pulmonary function. Twelve female college students participated in this experiment. Increase of blood pressure was monitored in all of the participants when they wore a WBCG just for 10 minutes. Pulmonary function that requires skeletal muscle contraction was decreased by wearing a WBCG. Blood pressure measured after conducting exercise became even lower when wearing a WBCG than non-wearing. Interestingly, heart pulse remained lower when wearing a WBCG than non-wearing during the whole relaxing period after the exercise. Electrocardiogram (ECG) analyses showed that such lower heart rate largely depended on extension of QT time. For that reason, physiological efficiency index (PEI) was higher for wearing WBCG. These results indicate wearing WBCG could enhance exercise efficiency by lowering heart pulse.
