In this study, the design concept of engine for 4WD vehicle is established by the experimental modal analysis. First, the relationships between frame and power transmission system are considered. Second, the effect of additional system (Front propeller shaft and Exhaust system) on the power transmission system is evaluated. As a result, it is desirable that of frame and power transmission system is shifted by the additional system. This is cause by the moment of inertia of the additional system, because the center of gravity location of the additional system is far from that of the power transmission system.

This paper proposes a frame work for embedded system management. The management system can automatically monitor and maintain the Internet connected embedded-systems such as sensor devices, set-top box, web-pad, information appliances, PDA, etc. Users can easily diagnose system state, resolve system problems, maintain and update applications, and back up user information using the management system. We implement prototype for the management system on embedded Linux system and High -available Linux system.

The concept of Holon was suggested by A. Koestler in his paper(1967) "The Ghost in the Machine." It became one of the central concept of the Intelligent Manufacturing System. In this paper, a new system concept: Holonic Weapon System was introduced. HWS has the advantages of the holonic system and the system integration technique so that the future unmanned combat system should consider this concept.

This paper presents the design and analysis of the electromagnetic system such as jumping ring system. Also, we study the characteristics of dynamics for system with initial parameter. For the propose of system control,, first, we simulate the MATLAB tool solving coupled differential equations with electric parameter, inductance and mutual inductances. Therefore, we design a jumping ring system using design results, implement, and analyze the jumping ring system real situation. For the near time, we present a control process, and compare of real system and software technique.

In modern system, electromagnetic environment are going worse with advancing electric and electronic technology, and this electromagnetic environment affect modern electric train system at the point of the safety problem. Therefore, each distributed system that is consisting electric train system have to prove there own electromagnetic compatibility through the field test. These distributed system can be considered as power supply system, signal & communication system and train system. In this study, essential field tests for electromagnetic compatibility of train system based on IEC national standard are suggested.

The objective of this case study is to describe ins and outs of a production and information management system developed for footwear industry (based on MRP system). First, basic structure of the total system, configuration of sub-system modules, specification and configuration of software/hardware used in this system are presented. A system engineering play a key role in new signalling system development. The signalling system development process consists several phases which are requirement analysis, functional analysis, system synthesis and system analysis. Each phase of the development are decomposed according to system engineering process. The key topics to be considered are shown in the each phase such as safety. This paper shows the application of system engineering process to a signalling system development.
