In this paper, we propose a new relevance feedback algorithm using Probabilistic Neural Networks(PNN) while supporting multi-class learning. Then, to validate the effectiveness of our feedback approach, we incorporate the proposed algorithm into our region-based image retrieval tool, FRIP(Finding Regions In the Pictures). In our feedback approach, there is no need to assume that feature vectors are independent, and as well as it allows the system to insert additional classes for detail classification. In addition, it does not have a long computation time for training because it only has four layers. In the PNN classification process, we store the user's entire past feedback actions as a history in order to improve performance for future iterations. By using a history, our approach can capture the user's subjective intension more precisely and prevent retrieval performance errors which originate from fluctuating or degrading in the next iteration. The efficacy of our method is validated using a set of 3000 images derived from a Corel-photo CD.

The purpose of this research was to explore life history of an elderly woman who fled from North Korea and to understand and provide interventions for female North Korean Defector. The participant of this research is an 81-year-old woman who escaped from North Korea and has lived in South Korea for over 14 years. This life history study followed the analysis of Mandel baum(1973) pointing three perspectives of life: dimensions, turnings, and adaptations. This study concluded that the participant of the research study had no protection while staying in China and North Korea and had experience of Homo Sacer. And even after arriving to South Korea the participant had to live her life with the past negative experiences in North Korea and China. Based on the research results discussions and implications were suggested.

Main theme of this paper is the evaluation of the historical significance of Luciano Baldessari's exhibition works mainly during the Fifties. In order to understand the formal and logical basis of those project, his relationship with the historical Avant-gardes and the consequences expressed in his pavilion projects for the Breda Industrial Company are analyzed. The first part focuses on the influence of Italian Futurism, German Expressionism and Italian Rationalism on the formation and experience of Baldessari during the interwar years. The encounter with these movements determine the interest but also the principles along which Baldessari represents his idea of object, space and place. Specially his professional activities during Fascism would determine his attitude toward political power and the necessity of autonomy in artistic sphere. In the second part, different themes that Baldessari affronted in each project of Breda Pavilions is analyzed. Another important issue regard the historiography of the contemporary architecture. Often, many important works that lies in the threshold of the disciplines such as painting and sculpture and media art were excluded in the history of architecture just because they do not deal with the architectural object. Recently, many elements such as theatrical project and temporary objects are considered as part of urban reality and architecture with acknowledgment of their capacity to create event and situations. Along this thought, not just the reconfiguration on the territory of architecture in present but also the criterion to evaluate the past history of architecture is changing drastically. This study on the pavilions of Baldessari intends to contribute indirectly on the current issue of dominion of architecture, but also to evaluate objectively recent architecture. Consequently, architectural protagonists such as Baldessari and their ephemeral projects would be evaluated compressively in their multiplicity of significance.

The purpose of this paper is to study the $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$, a floral decoration, history of $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$, a floral decoration, with a focus on its aesthetics, its practical use and its traditional meaning. After the examination of its history, the paper, recreated the proceeds by taking into consideration both the contemporary men's fashion, as well as the $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ designs of the past. The three factors of contemporary $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ design, in brief, are its historical meaning, the visual aesthetics and the wearability. In this paper, the research and design steps are as followed below. First, the paper examined the history of men's fashion leading up to the twenty-first century in order to get a deeper understanding of the history of $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$. Second, the paper attempted to find the most suitable fabric materials and flowers for the $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$, in order to produce diverse $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ that can be worn in any season and occasion. As for the fabrics that can be used to make the $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$, organza can be used for the S/S season, and wool, tweed and suede can be used for the F/W season. The major characteristics that differentiate the kinds of $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ are the "Carnation" and the "Rose of Sharon". The 'Rose of Sharon' $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ as the symbol of our nation possesses an intricate meaning and practical function, so that this $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ is used as an alternative badge of the national assembly and other social-national institutions and their members. This idea expands into other social and individual features that the $boutonni{\grave{e}}re$ is a differentiated fashion item that provides other personal styles and expresses individuality.

Humanity in the 21st century is ushering in an era of practical use of AI. Until now, even though the industrial structure has been advanced, mankind has seen that the abstraction of knowledge production is only their own domain, but they have doubts about that belief. Therefore, this paper tried to examine the identity of modern humanity from the perspective of the result of knowledge accumulated from the past. These discussions were summarized and presented in a historical model called "Changes in the way of accumulating knowledge step by step" starting from the emergence of the earth and mankind. The first stage of this analytical model is the "accumulation of DNA knowledge" until the emergence of human intelligence on Earth. The second stage is the process of "accumulating civilized knowledge" by human biological intelligence, which has become capable of producing knowledge on its own. It is currently classified into three stages and it is considered that it is entering the stage of "accumulating mechanical knowledge" using AI technology. This paper proposes human history as such a step-by-step knowledge accumulation model and describes related discussions.

It is well known that records management is closely related to democracy, and the records management 'innovation' in Korea did also aim to reach democratic 'accountability' and 'governance'. Likewise, the first reason this article deals with the establishment of archival community in the East Asia is to help promote democracy and form a co-operative relations in the region through records management. Secondly, the distorted view of history easily found in the history textbooks of each countries should be corrected for the 21st East Asia in peace. Records and memories in the past are main components for the present and the future. A great many records to solve the disputes over history still remains inaccessible at large in the archives of the East Asia. A coming archival community will endeavor to disclose and share the historical records for harmonious awareness of history. Cooperation and solidarity within archival community in the East Asia featuring democratic accountability, governance and more records disclosure can be a brand-new start for peace and 'better' democracy in his region.

The purpose of this study is to reconsider whether Temple in William Faulkner's Requiem for a Nun has grown morally. Temple in Sanctuary, the previous work was raped with a corn cob by Popeye and perjured in the court, resulting in Lee Goodwin's brutal death. Now she is now a mother of two children and a wife of Gowan Stevens, but she cannot get out of the past and tries to run away with Pete, Red's brother, but she was resisted by Nancy Mannigoe, a nanny. Nancy tries to stop Temple sacrificing herself and Temple's baby. When confronting Nancy who accepted her death sentence without hesitation, Temple realized her past guilt which never fades out. A lapse of 20 years between Sanctuary and Requiem provides Temple and author himself opportunities for spiritual and moral growth in spite of painful realization that the past is never past. On the other hand, Faulkner tells the history and the past of Jefferson elaborating the description of the courthouse and the jail. Both are correlated in thematic perspective, the former representing humanity's need for security, the latter the opposite impulse toward aggression and destruction. but together represent the presentness of the past and the fluidity of time.

Background : The 'Korean Medicine' is the traditional medicine in Korea, which has preserved its homogeneous quality in the long historic period. But since 1945 when Korea was divided, the Korean Medicine has also been independently developed in South and North Korea. As a Result, it has lost its national homogeneity. Objective : In order to illuminate the past and an actuality of the transition and medical system of traditional medicine in North Korea. Method : Overview a preceding research paper and the various data of traditional medicine in North Korea. Result : 1. The name of North Korea traditional medicine from 'East medicine' was changed history with 'Korean medicine', It with the method which combines a traditional medicine and a Western medicine is endeavoring to modernization. 2. The administrative systems which take charge of the traditional medicine of North Korea are the organization which manages the Korean medicine and the Bureau of The Korean medicine production control. Also there is relation of the Bureau of the treatment prevention. 3. There are 8 medical colleges other than P'yongyang medical college. There is 6 years 6 months and 7 years 7 month follows in curriculum. Conclusions : It evaluated the past and an actuality of the transition and medical system of traditional medicine in North Korea.

Objectives: Clinically, patients with dyspepsia often complain of several gastrointestinal (GI) and extra-GI symptoms. However, there have been few studies investigating the relationship between GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms. The aim of this study was to characterize the clinical features of the 991 outpatients with GI and extra-GI symptom and the relationships between GI and extra-GI symptoms. Methods: 991 patients newly visiting Weedahm Oriental Hospital for GI symptoms were included. Those who had disorders caused by the hepatobiliary-pancreatic system were excluded. The 991 outpatients were interviewed with a standardized questionnaire inquiring about demography, past medical history, past institutional care, GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms. Results: Among 991 patients, 780 (78.7%) had more than three GI symptoms and 451 (45.5%) had more than five. Among 991 patients, 545 (55.0%) had more than three extra-GI symptoms and 285 (28.8%) had more than five. There was a statistically significant correlation between GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms such as headache, fatigue, forgetfulness, eyeball pain, unrest, dizziness, muscle pain, chest pain, and dyspnea. Conclusions: We found that there was statistically significant correlation between GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms, which suggests the possibility of main common pathophysiology between GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms. Further studies will be required to elucidate the main common pathophysiology between GI symptoms and extra-GI symptoms.

The purpose of this study was to find how hybrid fashion and make-up responses to multiculturalism condition and how expression of hybrid. Today, every culture has taken on the compromise form by means of the cultural difference, variety, and pluralism according to the internationalization and the advance. In accordance with this current of the times, this study observed the hybrid found in the multiculturalism of the 21th century. The expression of hybrid in multiculturalism of contemporary fashion and make up combination of difference.
