Thermal and Electrical Properties of Poly(vinylidenefluoride-hexafluoropropylene)-based Gel-Electrolytes (Poly(vinylidenefluoride-hexafluoropropylene)계 겔-전해질의 열적, 전기적 특성)

  • Polymer electrolyte films consisting of poly(vinylidenefluoride-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP), LiClO$_3$ and a mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and ${\gamma}$-butyrolactone (GBL) were examined in order to obtain the best compromise between high ionic conductivity, homogeniety, dimensional and electrochemical stability. Measurements of ionic conductivity, differential scanning calorimetry and linear sweep voltammetry have been carried out for various compositions. The highest conductivity of 3.8$\times$10$^{-3}$ S$cm^{-1}$ / at 3$0^{\circ}C$ were obtained for a film of 30(PVdF-HFP)+7.8LiClO$_4$+62.2EC/GBL. From the DSC study, it has been found that the PVdF-HFP gels are stable up to 10$0^{\circ}C$, and the salt lowers the melting temperature of crystalline part of PVdF by interacting sensitively with polymer segments. When Lithium metal is in contact with the gel films, it tends to undergo corrosion and the reaction products accumulate resulting in the formation of a passive film on Li electrode. As the aging time progresses, the interfacial resistance increases continuously. Anodic stability is measured to extend up to about 4.5 V vs. Li.

  • In this study, we intend to fabricate an all solid polymer battery with a reduced interfacial resistance between the solid electrolyte and the electrode by applying thiophene based polymers as both electrode and electrolyte materials. In order to minimize the interfacial resistance with the poly(3,4-ethylenedioxy thiophene) (PEDOT) based electrode, 3,4-ethylenedioxy thiophene (EDOT) oligomer was introduced into the solid electrolyte. Also, to improve the lithium salt dissociation ability of the EDOT oligomer [oligo(EDOT)] electrolyte, it was blended with poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVdF). As a result, the ionic conductivity of the solid polymer electrolyte increased by introducing PVdF into the oligo (EDOT). From the result of evaluating the electrochemical properties of an all solid polymer battery, the interfacial resistance significantly decreased by introducing a thiophene based polymer to the electrode and electrolyte.

  • Pulse electrochemical micromachining offers significant improvements in dimensional accuracy as compared with conventional electrochemical machining. One primary issue in pulse electrochemical micromachining is to identify and control machining depth as well as interelectrode gap size. This paper presents an identification method for the machining depth by in-process analysis of machining current and interelectrode gap size. The inter electrode gap characteristics, including pulse current, effective volumetric electrochemical equivalent and electrolyte conductivity variations, are analysed based on the model and experiments.

  • In this paper, the electro-chemical-machining characteristics of Ni-Ti Shape Memory Alloy(SMA) was investigated. From the experimental results, the optimal electro chemical machining conditions for satisfying the machining quality(fine surface & high recovery stress)might be confirmed. And it was concluded that optical electro chemical condition for Ni-Ti SMA could be obtained at approximately 100% current efficiency and high frequency pulse current.

  • A new method compounding the electrolytic machining with ball end milling process to improve machined surface toughness was examined. From this study, it was confirmed that much smaller cutting force and finer surface roughness can be obtained in a certain condition of ball end milling and electrolytic machining conditions.

  • 전자 소자 배선 재료로 이용되는 Cu의 확산 방지막으로서 170nm 두께의 전해 Ni-Re-P 합금 피막이 Cu substrate 위에 제조되었으며 피막특성 및 확산 거동을 연구하였다. 도금 피막내의 P와 Re의 조성분석은 WDXRF로 분석하였으며, 각 함량은 6wt.%와 10wt.%였다. DSC와 XRD는 Ni-Re-P 피막의 결정화 온도가 Ni-P 피막보다 높다는 것을 보여줬다. 이 결과는 Ni-Re-P 피막의 열적 안정성이 Ni-P피막보다 더 우수하다는 것을 나타낸다.

  • In this report, a new method compounding the electrolytic machining with ball end milling process to increase the machining efficiency was introduced. And the cutting characteristics by electrolytic machining conditions was examined.   • 본 연구에서는 에틸렌디아민을 착화제로 사용하여 전해도금으로 Ni-Pd 합금피막을 형성하였다. 염화팔라듐 농도 1~5 mM, 전류밀도 $0.2{\sim}1.5A/dm^2$ 구간에서 고용체 합금피막이 형성되었으며, 이의 격자상수는 X선회절 분석을 통하여 확인하였다. Pd 함량은 전류밀도가 증가할수록 감소하였고, 경도는 전류밀도가 증가할수록 증가하다가 전류밀도 $1.3A/dm^2$ 이후 급격히 감소하였다. 경도증가 원인은 결정립미세화이고, 전류밀도 $1.3A/dm^2$ 이후에서 잔류응력으로 인한 크랙 발생으로 사료되었다.

  • 금은 양호한 전기적 특성 및 높은 연성과 퍼짐성을 갖고, 화학적 안정성도 우수하기 때문에 전자부품의 배선재료, 접점재료뿐만 아니라 우주왕복선의 박막 방어막으로도 사용되고 있다. 도금두께 제어가 우수하고, 수조의 관리가 용이하기 때문에 오래전부터 인쇄회로기판 분야에서도 최종표면처리(Surface Finish)에 적용되고 있다. 최근 전자부품이 다시 고밀도화가 추진되고, 미세 배선회로가 증가함에 따라 무전해 도금 보다 균일전착 막을 얻을 수 있는 전해금 도금공정이 요구되고 있다.
