This study is about the analysis on symbolic meaning and kunstwollen of Issey Miyake's art works which is influenced by various external factors such as social and cultural background, nationality and philosophy. Especially, this research focused on 'Pleats Please Issey Miyake' and 'A Piece of Cloth' which are the core of his works. The most important concept of Issey Miyake's works is the relationship of human body and a piece of cloth. Miyake's clothes has provided the time and the space where inspires the vitality into wearer. He accomplishes the most perfect beauty through incomplete beauty of cloth. Miyake wants to express the emotion of the human being through his clothes and tries to make special code between creator, wearer and viewer. Fashion is accomplished in connection with human body, not exists just as 'clothes'. Fashion has valued as an art which expresses the ideology and the sentiment of human being most directly. Issey Miyake who has tried to express human life and emotion has promoted fashion as an important part of art. Miyake is accepting and delivering the history and culture, expressing and communicating empathy, and combining the different fields harmoniously.
This Paper aims to elaborate on the origin of thinking mind. And this is a cooperative project between philosophy and neuroscience and brain science. I have written this paper in admiration for the achievements of twentieth century neuroscience and brain science, and out of desire to assist the subject in future. Much of the history of modern philosophy, from Descartes and Kant forward, consists of failed models of brain. As Edward O. Wilson precisely said, the shortcoming is not the fault of the philosophers, who have doggedly pushed their methods to the limit, but a straightforward consequence of the biological evolution of the brain. Guiding that investigation down pathways that will illuminate brain research is a task of neuroscience and brain science. Investigating logical relations among concepts is a philosophical task. If we are to understand the neural structures and dynamics that make perception, thought, intentional behaviour possible, clarity about these concepts and categories and their relations is essential. Hence our joint venture of philosophy and science. Sure, it is human beings that perceives, not parts of its brain. And it is human beings that who think and reason, not their brain. But the brain and its activities make it possible for human beings-not for it-to perceive and think, to feel emotions, and to form and pursue projects. Thus We try to investigate and reveal the origin of thinking mind as follow: 1) The difference between chimpanzee and human beings 2) brain and mind 3) the origin of thinking 4) the wisdom of nature.
The history of Korean Pungsu can be approached from two perspectives. One is through the history of its theoretical formation and evolution, and the other is through the history of its social and cultural formation and evolution. The former, i.e. Pungsu theories, was produced and developed by intellectuals as an elaborate system of cosmic knowledge and logic. The latter, i.e. Pungsu culture, was consumed and adopted by various social groups in their spatial life practices. It was Chinese intellectuals that originally initiated and carried out the production, formation, and development of the fengshui theoretical system. Intellectuals in neighboring countries adapted Chinese fengshui to their local environment, incorporating their own historical and cultural features, and practiced this transformed and indigenized form of geomancy. The evolution of Korean Pungsu can be summarized as having the following five characteristics. First, Koreans accepted fengshui from China, pragmatically adapting it to fit the Korean natural and social environment, and then used it for social discourse on space. Second, Pungsu had a comprehensive and varied influence on Korean culture throughout its different historical periods. Third, combined with social thought led by differing social classes, Korean Pungsu existed as an element of social discourse. Fourth, Koreans' theoretical preferences of fengshui were for the landform method over the liqi (理氣) method. Fifth, the Bibo philosophy was a characteristic feature of Korean Pungsu.
On the grounds of Diane Vaughan's pioneering study into the Challenger Disaster, STS(Science and Technology Studies) scholars have recently argued that most engineers seldom face an ethical situation, in which the boundary between the ethical and the unethical is absolutely clear, and for which a serious moral decision such as "whistle blowing" is urgently needed. They have instead suggested that engineering ethics needs to address engineers' everyday routine practices, which, if accumulated, may have some impact upon the overall performance of the technological system. However, such studies have not completely resolved the tension between STS that emphasizes contextual elements in which the everyday practice of engineers are done, on the one hand, and engineering ethics that stresses individual engineer's moral decision of an existential kind, on the other. By discussing various works on the Challenger Disaster and related issues over technological risks, this paper attempts to establish an interface between STS and engineering ethics, and proposes some practical implications for the effective education of engineering ethics to engineering students.

This study tends to analyze the organizational factors of major curriculum of education department. For this, the education department's major curriculum of ten universities is analyzed in three levels. Subjects are analyzed for the high level, lesson plans for the middle level, and sub-topics for the low level. This study utilized the learning classified table of the Natioanl Research Foundation of Korea and the In-sil Chang's curriculum scope classified table. The results from the study are following. First, some subjects such as educational philosophy, educational psychology, life-long education take largest portions in the major curriculum of education department. Second. the history, the evaluation, and the definition and the scope of the education curriculum take greatest parts in the subject of education curriculum. It is expected that the findings of the study may provide the opportunities to introspect on the discussion and the organization of the educational directions and goals of education department.

This study aims to analyze the research trends of English-language journals in Korean studies published in Korea. Data were collected from four English journals in Korean studies indexed in A&HCI and SCOPUS. A total of 1,840 were selected, including 768 articles of the Korea Journal, 466 articles of The Review of Korean Studies, 285 articles of the Seoul Journal of Korean Studies, and 321 articles of the Acta Koreana, in connection with content analysis, author analysis, author keyword frequency analysis, and topic modeling. In results, the domain research of Korean studies is Humanities, followed by Social Science, and Arts and Kinesiology. These three sectors have grown significantly in publishing numbers since 2000. The subject period of the study is in the order of the modern period, late Joseon, and Japanese colonial period. Authors from domestic affiliations made up 73.34% of the total, but the proportion of authors belonging to foreign institutions continued to increase. As for author keywords, 'Korea'(41), 'Buddhism'(20), 'Koreanwar'(18), and 'Joseon'(18) were derived as top keywords. In topic modeling, six topics were identified; 'Korean culture, cultural transmission,' 'Korean modern political history,' 'Korean social democratization process,' 'Japanese colonial period,' 'Korean religious philosophy,' and 'Korean ancient history.' Through this study, it was possible to identify the interests in and research areas of the recent international academic community of Korean studies.

The scholars who are from Chinese mainland think highly of the expression on meaning and principle in the research of Korean philosophy, which is shown the fair and peace; The scholars who come from Taiwan are obviously impacted by the western world(Taiwan uses the means influenced by the western thinking method) in the means of researching the Korean Confucianism; Japanese persistently rely on the literature and try to reproduce the objectivity of historicism. For decades, the research of Tuixi had made great achievements in Eastern Asia. It had understood the allover content of its thought, It is also worth thinking about the correlation between Tuixi psychology and Yinyang study in Japan, Japan and Taiwan in recent years. Any research is unavoidable to start from own countries, areas and ideological consciousness, but there is a question idea behind the back that comes from emotion and fact. Making the advantage in study meanings and communication in question consciousness will be beneficial to the continuous development of the study of Tuixi in depth and expand its influence.

This review article provides the trend of current nursing curriculum of todays in Korea and its perspectives. This article reviewed 5 aspects of the current nursing curriculum for the undergraduate program, those are the (1)educational philosophy and believes (2)the nursing concepts revealed in the current nursing curriculum (3)the educational goals and objectives (4)the framework of nursing curriculum (5)the syllabus and credit hours. The common nursing concepts in the current nursing curriculum are Nursing, Human being, Environment/society, Health, Nursing science. The examplary vertical concepts composing of the current nursing curriculum are nursing process, life styles and the horizontal concepts are client, health promotion /recovery /maintenance, leadership, and research. The common subjects composing of the nursing syllabus are the introductory subjects(nursing history, nursing professionalism, foundamental nursing), and the supportive subjects (communication, human relationship, human growth and development, health education, etc) and nursing research, the intrductory basic sciences (anatomy, physiology etc.), and the major nursing subjects (adult nursing, child nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatric nursng, community nursing, nursing administration.) In order to have more advanced nursing education, the suggestions were provided as follows : (1) It is necessary to have revision and evaluation of the process and the structure of the current nursing curriculum periodically. (2) The concept of health promotion for all human being should be integrated into the nursing curriculum. (3) The nursing education program should be unified into baccalauliate level to get one type of nurse-registration system. (4) The nursing courses will need to provide the necessary contemporary Informations to allow the nurses to fuction efficiently in this rapidly changing era. (5) The use of new technology in nursing education is necessary to expand nursing education more.
This work began with the aim of examining the history of the concept "cultural property" that is expected to disappear, and the main subject of research was the history that preceded the spread of this notion throughout society. The phrase "cultural property" first appeared in the 1920s, and was used in various fields such as literature, history, music, and philosophy in the context of cultural resources. Until immediately following liberation from the Japanese colonial era, the meaning of cultural assets was widely applied in the range of "cultural resources," and during this period, it was often used to help supplant the reality and history of Japanese occupation. Immediately after the Korean War, it was also employed for the purpose of 'restoration of cultural resources through war'. Recognition of cultural property directly influenced by Japan's Cultural Heritage Protection Act has occurred since 1950s. In the early 1960s, the enactment of various laws related to cultural properties and the establishment of the Cultural Heritage Administration caused the meaning of cultural property to be limited to 'cultural heritage'. In this way, the definition of state-led cultural property has continued to apply to this day. It has not been clearly confirmed whether the concept of cultural properties was imported from Japan through means such as the Cultural Heritage Protection Act. Cases in which several Japanese students endorsed the concept of cultural property within Korea serve to increase the likelihood that the concept was indeed imported from Japan. However, "coined language using multiple Chinese characters," "the phenomenon of cultural complex words in the 1920s,", and "cases of non-Japanese international students using the concept of cultural property" also open up the possibility of their own occurrence. Apart from the general importance of the concept of cultural property, intellectuals at the time used this concept to promote internal development and the overcoming of colonial Joseon. In this research, it was confirmed that the conceptual word cultural property was older and had a wider history than the general perception had indicated previously. The history of the conceptual term "cultural property" may appear to be more than 60 years old based on the enactment of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act, but in fact it is nearly 100 years old when traced back to on 1925, as established here. In general, the creation and disappearance of terms may proceed naturally with social change, but such terms may alternatively be created or erased through national policy. Identifying the origins of a phrase that is about to disappear represents a significant task for purposes of establishing its historical meaning.
