  • In this paper, we study two types of 1-lightlike submanifolds, named by lightlike hypersurface and half lightlike submanifold, of an indefinite Sasakian manifold admitting non-metric ${\theta}$-connections. We prove that there exist no such two types of 1-lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Sasakian manifold.

  • Consider a p-variate($p{\geq}3$) normal distribution with mean ${\theta}$ and covariance matrix ${\sum}={\sigma}^2{\mathbf{I}}_p$ for any unknown scalar ${\sigma}^2$. In this paper we improve the James-Stein estimator of ${\theta}$ in cases of shrinking toward some vectors using the Stein variance estimator. It is also shown that this domination does not hold for the positive part versions of these estimators.

  • In this paper, We used thresholds $\varepsilon$, $\theta$ a to improve traffic flooding attack detection method using SNMP in opposition to frequent traffic flooding attack. accordingly, we can use system resources more efficient as execute traffic analysys by threshold.

  • In the present paper, we establish relationship between continued fraction U(-q) of order 12 and Ramanujan's cubic continued fraction G(-q) and $G(q^n)$ for n = 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. Also we evaluate U(q) and U(-q) by using two parameters for Ramanujan's theta-functions and their explicit values.

  • The weakened forms of the (${\theta},s$)-continuous function are introduced and their basic properties are investigated in concern with the other weakened continuous function. The open property of a function and the extremal disconnectedness of the spaces are crucial tools for the survey of these functions.

  • Given a random sample of size N (unknown) with density f(x│$\theta$), suppose that only n observations which lie outside a region r are recorded. On the basis of n observation, the Bayes estimators of $\theta$ and N are considered and their asymptotic expansions are developed to find the third order asymptotic properties with those of the maximum likelihood estimators and the Bayes modal estimators. The asymptotic m.s.e.'s of these estimators are expressed. An example is given to illustrate the results obtained.

  • A new explanation, using exponential functions, is given for the S-shaped functional relation between the mean citation score and the proportion of top 10% (and other percentages) publications for the 500 Leiden Ranking universities. With this new model we again obtain an explanation for the concave or convex relation between the proportion of top $100{\theta}%$ publications, for different fractions of ${\theta}$.

  • The pulse generating circuit system of the so-called turbulently-heated theta pinch is experimentally investigated, and its results are compared with the predictions based on the conventional theory. The conventional theory assumes that the impedance of the pinch coil is independent on the time rate of change in voltage (or current) across the pinch coil. The experimental pulse height of the voltage actross the pinch coil is about 1.5% fo that predicted by the conventional theory.
