The hyperbolic metric is invariant under the action of M$\ddot{o}$bius maps and unbounded. For 0 < $r$ < 1, there is an r-lattice in the Bergman metric. Using this r-lattice, we get the measure ${\mu}_r$ and the Toeplitz operator $T^{\alpha}_{\mu}_r$ and we prove that $T^{\alpha}_{\mu}_r$ is bounded and $T^{\alpha}_{\mu}_r$ is compact under some condition.

The author compared indices of thyroid function in 76 patients with panic attack and 80 control subjects. And SCL-90-R was performed to evaluate the relationship between the psychiatric symptoms and thyroid indices in the patients with panic attack The results were as follows: 1). No siginificant differences in T3, T4 or TSH were found between the two groups. But T3 level was significantly lower in male panic patients than male controls(p<0.005). 2) The T3 level was significantly lower in male panic patients who had higher depression socre than average in SCL-90-R(p<0.025). 3) The TSH level was significantly lower in patients with higher anxiety(p<0.001) and phobia(p<0.05) score and in female panic patients(p<0.001) with higher anxiety and phobia score than average in SCL-90-R. 4) The phobic symptom(p<0.001) was siginificantly higher and the T3 level(p<0.005) was lower in the male than the female patients with panic attack.

The growth of the purple sea urchin, Anthocidaris crassispina, has been investigated using reproduction plates as a chararter of the age determination. The samples were collected on the coast of Daepo, in the southern part of Cheju Island from August, 1995 to July, 1996. Monthly growth of test diameter mainly occurred from December to March. The obvious growth, however, were not observed between April and June which seemed to be the resting period. This resting period well corresponded to the time of annual ring formation which was estimated from the analysis of the marginal growth rate. The growth curve fitted well with Bertalanffy equation: $$L_t=46.65 (1-e^{-0.283(t+9.210)}),\;W_t=44.90 (1-e^{-0.283(t+9.210)})^3$$

한국산 옻액의 경화거동을 알아보기 위하여 F.T.-I.R. 분석을 수행하였다. Acetone 추출한 urushiol의 F.T.-I.R. peak는 $3,422cm^{-1}$, $2,928cm^{-1}$, $1,622cm^{-1}$, $1,475cm^{-1}$, $1,281cm^{-1}$, $984cm^{-1}$, $947cm^{-1}$, $735cm^{-1}$이었다. 또한, 옻액의 정시경화거동에서 $1,651cm^{-1}$ peak는 urushiol-quinone이 laccase의 촉매작용에 의하여 산화중합한 후 982와 $947cm^{-1}$의 conjugated diene와 결합해서 dimer 형성을 알 수 있었다.

In this paper we consider the evolution of the rolling stone with a rotationally symmetric nonconvex compact initial surface ${\Sigma}_0$ under the Gauss curvature flow. Let $X:S^n{\times}[0,\;{\infty}){\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ be the embeddings of the sphere in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ such that $\Sigma(t)=X(S^n,t)$ is the surface at time t and ${\Sigma}(0)={\Sigma}_0$. As a consequence the parabolic equation describing the motion of the hypersurface becomes degenerate on the interface separating the nonconvex part from the strictly convex side, since one of the curvature will be zero on the interface. By expressing the strictly convex part of the surface near the interface as a graph of a function $z=f(r,t)$ and the non-convex part of the surface near the interface as a graph of a function $z={\varphi}(r)$, we show that if at time $t=0$, $g=\frac{1}{n}f^{n-1}_{r}$ vanishes linearly at the interface, the $g(r,t)$ will become smooth up to the interface for long time before focusing.

Let (R, T) be a normal pair of commutative rings (i.e., R ${\subseteq}$ T is a unita extension of commutative rings, not necessarily integral domains, such that S is integrally closed in T for each ring S such that R ${\subseteq}$ S ${\subseteq}$ T) such that the total quotient ring of R is a von Neumann regular ring. Let P be one of the following ring-theoretic properties: going-down ring, extensionally going-down (EGD) ring, locally divided ring. Then R has P if and only if T has P. An example shows that the "if" part of the assertion fails if P is taken to be the "divided domain" property.

For a complex measure ${\mu}$ on B and $f{\in}L^2_a(B)$, the Toeplitz operator $T_{\mu}$ on $L^2_a(B,dv)$ with symbol ${\mu}$ is formally defined by $T_{\mu}(f)(w)=\int_{B}f(w)\bar{K(z,w)}d{\mu}(w)$. We will investigate properties of the Toeplitz operator $T_{\mu}$ with symbol ${\mu}$. We define the Toeplitz type operator $T^r_{\psi}$ with symbol ${\psi}$, $$T^r_{\psi}f(z)=c_r\int_{B}\frac{(1-{\parallel}w{\parallel}^2)^r}{(1-{\langle}z,w{\rangle})^{n+r+1}}{\psi}(w)f(w)d{\nu}(w)$$. We will also investigate properties of the Toeplitz type operator with symbol ${\psi}$.

In this paper, we investigate some results on complex delay-differential equations of the classical Malmquist theorem. A classic illustrations of their results states us that if a complex delay equation w(t + 1) + w(t - 1) = R(t, w) with R(t, w) rational in both arguments admits (concede) a transcendental meromorphic solution of finite order, then deg_wR(t, w) ≤ 2. Development and upgrade of such results are presented in this paper. In addition, Borel exceptional zeros and poles seem to appear in special situations.

Dielectric properties of Ba(ZnS11/3TTaS12/3T)OS13T+x ZnO(x=0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0 wt%) ceramics have been investigated at microwave frequencies. With excess ZnO, the sinterability was improved and the dielectric constant($\varepsilon$S1rT) and the unloaded quality factor(QS1UT) were increased. The structure changed into hexagonal from pseudocubic as being annealed at 140$0^{\circ}C$ in excess ZnO composition. Also, the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency ($\tau$S1fT) turned into (-)ppm/$^{\circ}C$ when sintered at 155$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. But the specimen sintered in ZnO muffling showed increased density and $\varepsilon$S1rT but lowerde QS1uT. Among the specimen investigated, expecially the composition added with 0.4wt% excess ZnO showed the most optimum dielectric values ($\varepsilon$S1rT=28, QS1uT x f=120000GHz) better than those of original Ba(ZnS11/2T TaS12/3T)OS13T ceramics.
