BiFeO3 치환에 따른 PMW-PNN-PZT세라믹스의 강유전 및 압전 특성 (Ferroelectric and Piezoelectric Properties of PMW-PNN-PZT Ceramics as a Function of BiFeO3 Substitution)

  • In this paper, in order to develop the composition ceramics with the outstanding piezoelectric properties, $Pb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})_{0.03}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.09}(Zr_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})_{0.88}O_3$ ceramics substituted with $BiFeO_3$ were prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction method. The addition of small amount of $Li_2CO_3$ and $CaCO_3$ as sintering aids decreased the sintering temperature of the ceramics. The effects of $BiFeO_3$ substitution on their piezoelectric and dielectric properties were investigated. when 0.015 mol $BiFeO_3$ was substituted, the optimal physical properties of $d_{33}=590pC/N$, $E_c=8.78kV/mm$ were obtained.

  • In this paper, in order to develop the composition ceramics with the excellent dielectric properties, $Pb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})_{0.03}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.09}(Zr_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})_{0.88}O_3$ ceramics were fabricated by the conventional solid-state method. The effects of ZnO addition on their microstructure and piezoelectric properties were systematically investigated. The rhombohedral-tetragonal phase coexistence has been found in the ceramics without ZnO content and then with further increasing ZnO content, specimens exhibited tetragonal phase. The optimized ZnO content formed liquid phase and aided the grain growth of specimens. When 0.4 wt% ZnO was added, the optimal physical properties ($d_{33}=422pC/N$, $d_{31}=161pC/N$, ${\varepsilon}_r=1,905$, $k_p=0.55$, $Q_m=160$) were obtained.

  • In this study, $(1-x)Pb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})_{0.03}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.09}(Zr_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})_{0.88}O_3+xCeMnO_3$ (x= 0~0.02) ceramics were prepared by Columbite precursor method. The phase structure, ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties were systematically investigated. It was found that PMW-PNN-PZT possessed superior electrical properties due to its composition close to the MPB (morphotropic phase boundary). Coercive electric field of 10.05 [kV/cm] and density of 7.88 [$g/cm^3$] were obtained when the substitution amount of $CeMnO_3$ is x=0.02. In contrast, specimens with x=0.01 showed the mechanical quality factor($Q_m$) of 1,091 and the electromechanical coupling factor($k_p$) of 0.613.

두께진동모드를 이용한 고주파대역의 단일체 세라믹필터에 대한 연구 (A study on the HF monolithic ceramic filter using thickness mode)

  • Using the energy trapping theory and the acoustic coupling theory. the Bandpass filter(center frequency = 10.7 MHz) of the fundamental thickness mode was made from the composition of $Pb_{0.96}Sr_{0.04}(Zr_{0.53}Ti_{0.47})O_3$+ 1wt% $Fe_2O_3$. Also, in the double mode monolithic filter, It was observed that as decreasing the size of the electrodes, or shortening the gap between two electrodes, the percent frequency separation was increased. Based on these. a 10.7 MHz uniwafer filter was made having the characteristics that bandwidth was 700 KHz and the percent frequency separation was 6 [dB] and selectivity was 29 [dB], end spurious response was 24 [dB] and insertion loss was 7 [dB].

압전세라믹 발음체의 설계 (Design of Piezoelectric Acoustic Transducer)

  • 압전세라믹스를 제조하여 발음체 소자의 두께 직경등의 칫수 변화에 따른 압전발을 체 소자의 전기적 특성 및 압전세라믹스와 금속진동판의 상관관계를 조사하고 공명용 수지 case등을 고려하여 공진 주파수에서 효율좋은 음을 발생시킬수 있는 압전발음체를 설계하였 다. 본 실험에서 사용딘 압전세라믹스 (Pb0.95Sr0.05)(Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3+0.8wt%Nb2O5의 특성은 전 기기계 결합계수(KP)가 69%이며 기계적 품질계수(Qm)은 87 비유전율은 2100 tan$\delta$는 0.016이었다. 금속진동판의 공진주파수는 사용되는 재료의 stiffness와 관계가 있고 주파수 -impedance 특성은 재질의 음속, 밀도, Young율 등에 크게 의존하였다. 주파수 대역 2.0~ 2.2khz에서 공진시키기 위한 공명체의 설계에서 압전세라믹스의 외경과 두께가 각각 14mm, 0.1mm 이고 금속진동판의 그것이 각각 20mm, 0.1mmdlfEo 공명기는 방음공의 직경이 3.0mm, cavity의 직경이 18.5mm, cavity의 높이가 4.5mm의 구조로 설계되었을때가 최적조 건이었다.

졸겔법으로 제조된 Tb-doped PZT 박막의 강유전 특성 (Ferroelectric Properties of Tb-doped PZT Thin films Prepared by Sol-gel Process)

  • Tb-doped lead zirconate titanate(Pb(Zr$\_$0.6/,Ti$\_$0.4/)O$_3$; PZT) thin films on Pt(111)/Ti/SiO$_2$/Si(100) substrates were fabricated by the sol-gel method. The effect on the structural and electrical properties of films measured according to Tb content. The dielectric and ferroelectric properties of Tb-doped PZT thin films were altered significantly by Tb-doping. The PZT thin film with higher dielectric constant and improved leakage current characteristic was obtained by adding 0.3 mol% Tb. The relative dielectric constant and the dielectric loss of the 0.3 mol% Tb-doped PZT thin film were 1611 and 0.024, respectively. Typical value of the swichable remanent poaraization(2Pr) and the coercive filed of the PZT film capacitor for 0.3 mol% Tb-doped were 61.4 ${\mu}$C/cm$^2$ and 61.9 kV/cm, respectively. Tb-doped PZT thin films showed improved fatigue characteristics comparing to the undoped PZT thin film.

  • Sm-doped lead zirconate titanate($Pb_{1.1}(Zr_{0.6}Ti_{0.4})O_3$; PZT) thin films on the Pt(111)/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si(100) substrates prepared by a sol-gel method. The effect on structural and electrical properties of PZT thin films measured according to the Sm content. Sm-doping altered significantly dielectric and ferroelectric properties. The remanent polarization and the coercive field decreased with the increasing Sm content. The dielectric constant and the dielectric loss of PZT thin films decreased with the increasing Sm content. At 100 kHz, the dielectric constant and the dielectric loss of. the 0.3 mol% of Sm-doped PZT thin film were 1200 and 0.12 respectively. The remanent polarization (2Pr) of the 0.3 mol% of Sm-doped PZT thin film was $52.13{\mu}C/cm^2$ and the coercive field was 94.01 kV/cm. The 0.3 mol% of Sm-doped PZT thin film showed an improved fatigue characteristic comparing to the undoped PZT thin film.

고출력 압전소자를 위한 압전 세라믹(PMN-PT-PZ)조성의 전기기계적 특성 (Electromechanical Properties of PMN-PT-PZ Composition for High Power Device)

  • This paper is the study for piezoelectric properties of PMN-PT-PZ composition for high power piezoelectric device. It needs the properties such as high mechanical quality factor(Qm), high electromechanical coupling coefficient(kp) and high dielectric strain constant$(d_31)$, and the stable electromechanical properties under high vibration level. For acquiring this results, the value of x is changed in 0.1Pb$(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$+(0.9-x)$PbZrO_3+xPbTiO_3$ composition to find MPB(morphotropic phase boundary), and the piezoelectric constants is measured by resonance-antiresonance frequency method, based on IRE Standard. Also, it is measured as a function of the amount of additive, $Nb_2O_5$. When the composition is applied to high power device, the electromechanical properties is measured by laser vibrometer to confirm the reliablity under high vibration level. From these results, PMN-PT-PZ composition is shown excellent properties and capacity of application to high power device.

$B_2O_3$ 첨가에 의한 PCW-PNN-PZT 세라믹스의 소결특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sintering Properties of PCW-PNN-PZT Ceramics with $B_2O_3$)

  • In this thesis, the sintering properties and piezoelectric properties of $Pb[(Co_{0.5}W_{0.5})_{0.03}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.07}(Zr_{0.52}Ti_{0.48})_{0.9}]O_3+0.5[wt%]MnO_2$ ceramics has been systematically investigated as a function of the sintering temperature after manufacturing the specimens with a general method. The lattice constant from the analysis of crystal structure showed that the pychlore structure was decreased with the increase of the sintering temperature. Density was decreased by increasing $B_2O_3$. TCFr was showed its minimum variation rate of 0.35~-0.52[%] in the sintered temperature 950[$^{\circ}C$], $B_2O_3$ 3[wt%]. The electromechanical coupling coefficient (Kp) showed its maximum of 31.116[%] in the sintered temperature 1050[$^{\circ}C$], and its minimum of 20.220[%] in the sintered temperature 1150[$^{\circ}C$].
