Fe2O3/Na3AlF6/Fe2O3/Cu, Al, Cr 다층박막의 광학적 두께에 따른 광학특성 (The Optical properties of Fe2O3/Na3AlF6/Fe2O3/Cu, Al, Cr Multi Layered Thin Film depending on the Optical Thickness)

  • Multi-layered thin films of $Fe_2O_3/Na_3AlF_6/Fe_2O_3/Cu$, Cr, Al were deposited on glass substrate by evaporation process. As high and low refractive index material, $Fe_2O_3$ and $Na_3AlF_6$ were selected and additionally Cu, Al and Cr were chosen as mid reflective layer respectively. Optical properties including reflectance were systematically studied depending on optical thickness of $Na_3AlF_6$ especially $0.25{\lambda}$ and $0.5{\lambda}$. In order to expect the experimental result, the simulation program, the Essential Macleod Program(EMP) was adopted and compared with the experimental data. Based on the results taken by spectrophotometer at viewing angle $45^{\circ}C$, the $Fe_2O_3/Na_3AlF_6/Fe_2O_3/Cu$ show the colour rage between red and orange in $0.25{\lambda}$ and green and pupple in $0.5{\lambda}$ respectively. When the Al was used as mid reflective layers in $Fe_2O_3/Na_3AlF_6/Fe_2O_3$ system, typical yellow colour and mixed colour between green and pupple were appeared in $0.25{\lambda}$ and $0.5{\lambda}$ of $Na_3AlF_6$ respectively. As compared the experimental result to simulation data, it was found out that the experimental data is relatively well matched with the EMP simulation data.

  • $ZnS/Na_3AlF_6$ multi-layer thin film were produced by evaporation system. ZnS were selected as a high refractive index material and $Na_3AlF_6$ were selected as low refractive index material. Optical properties including color effect were systematically studied in terms of different optical thickness by spectrophotometer. In oder to compare with experimental data, the Essential Macleod Program(EMP) was adopted that simulation program. The thin film consisting of $ZnS/Na_3AlF_6$ multi-layer show the wave length of $530{\sim}600nm$, typically color range between purple, blue, green. It was confirmed that this experimental result was well matched with simulation data.

  • Multi-layered thin films of ZnS/$Na_3AlF_6$/ZnS/Cr were deposited on glass substrate by evaporation process. ZnS and $Na_3AlF_6$ were selected as high and low refractive index material, and additionally Cr was chosen as mid reflective layer respectively. The multi-layered thin films were prepared in terms of different optical thickness and different staking sequence and layers. The optical properties were systematically characterized with different optical thickness of $Na_3AlF_6$ especially $0.25\lambda$ and $0.5\lambda$. In order to expect the experimental result, the simulation program, the Essential Macleod Program(EMP) was adopted. Based on the results taken by spectrophotometer at viewing angle $45^{\circ}$, the ZnS/$Na_3AlF_6$/ZnS/Cr multi-layered thin film shows purple colour range in $0.25\lambda$, bluish green in $0.5\lambda$, red purple in $0.75\lambda$, and purple in $1.0\lambda$ respectively.

  • The optical properties of multi layered thin films with $Sb_2O_3/Na_3AlF_6/Sb_2O_3/Cr$ were simulated by using EMP(Essential Macleod Program). EMP is a comprehensive software package to design and analyse the optical characteristics of multi-layered thin film. $Sb_2O_3$ and $Na_3AlF_6$ were selected as a high refractive index and low refractive index material respectively. Additionally Cr was chosen as mid reflective material. Optical properties including color effect were systematically studied in terms of different optical thickness of low refractive index material. The optical thickness of $Na_3AlF_6$ was changed as 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and $1.0\lambda$. The film with 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and $1.0\lambda$ of optical thickness showed mixed color range between purple and red range, yellowish green and bluish green, purple and mixed color range of green and purple respectively.

  • 본 연구에서는 Thermal evaporator(저항 가열 식 진공 증착법) 장비를 활용하여 ZnS/$Na_3AlF_6$/ZnS/Cu-$0.25\lambda$, ZnS/$CaF_2$/ZnS/Cu-$0.25\lambda$의 다층 박막을 glass 기판위에 증착하였다. 증착 전에 EMP(Essential Macleod Program)을 활용하여 광학적 특성을 simulation하였으며 다층 박막 제작 후 Spectrophotometer를 사용하여 반사율 및 색상을 CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ 좌표에 표시하여 고 굴절 물질에 따른 광학적 특성을 EMP simulation과 비교하였다. AES depth profile을 분석하여 막의 두께 및 층간 확산여부에 관하여 관측 하였다. 저굴절 물질을 Na3AlF6로 사용하였을 경우 simulation과 결과 값 모en purple 계통의 색상을 나타냈으며 CaF2를 사용하였을 경우 simulation은 purple 계통의 색상, 결과값은 red-yellow 계통의 색상으로 나타났다.

It was becaused by different optical thickness of $Na_3AlF_6$. The maximum of optical interference by refractive layer.

  • 최대 0.20 mm 크기를 가진 아날심 단결정은 $3.00SiO_2$ : $1.50NaAlO_2$ : 8.02NaOH : $454H_2O$ : 5.00TEA의 겔 조성으로부터 합성되어졌다. $Na^+$ 이온으로 완전히 이온교환 된 아날심은 0.1 M 농도의 NaCl 수용액으로부터 준비하였다(이온교환용액의 pH는 NaOH 용액을 첨가하여 6에서 11로 맞추었다). $|Na_{0.94}(H_2O)|[Si_{2.06}Al_{0.94}O_6]-ANA(a=13.703(3){\AA})$의 분자식을 가지는 수화된 아날심 단결정의 구조는 294 K에서 Ibca의 orthorhombic 공간군으로 단결정 X-선 회절기법에 의해 결정되었다. 결정 구조의 최종 에러값은 $R_1/wR_2$= 0.054/0.143에 수렴되었다. 약 15개의 $Na^+$ 이온이 팔면체 배위로 3군데의 비동등한 위치에서 발견되었다. 합성된 아날심의 화학적 조성은 $Na_{0.94}(H_2O)Si_{2.06}Al_{0.94}O_6$ 확인되었으며, Si/Al 비는 단결정 구조 정밀화를 통하여 찾은 양이온의 점유수인 14.79개에 의해 2.19로 결정되었다.

플루오르화물이 $SiO_2-Al_2O_3$계 원료의 물라이트화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Fluorides on Mullitization of $SiO_2-Al_2O_3$ System; Korean Kaolin)

  • The effect of the addition of various fluoreides on the mullitization of Korean crude kaolin was studied by X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopic methods. Kaolin without any addition of fluoreides began to be transformed into the mullite at 1, 10$0^{\circ}C$. Mullite peaks were discernible in the X-ray diffraction patterns of the specimens which contained fluorides equivalent to about 2 wt % fluorine, and which were sintered at 1, 05$0^{\circ}C$. The higher the concentration of fluorine in kaolin, the lower was the initiatinig temperature of mullitization. Experiments , for example, showed that mullite could be formed at 95$0^{\circ}C$ from kaolin mixed with 3.4% fluorine. Of the fluoride, addtives, sodiumsiliconfluoride $(Na_2SiF_6)$ was must effective in mullite formation of kaolin. In order of accelerating mullitization, the fluorides except $Na_2SiF_6$ could be placed in following sequence ; (1) sodium (NaF) (2) aluminium$(AlF_3)$ (3)potassium(KF) (4) ammonium$(NH_4F)$ (5) magnesium$(MgF_2)$ (6) calcium$(CaF_2)$. It was considered that the intrinsic characteristics of fluorides, such as size of ionic radiu, charge , bond strength between cation and anion, and electronegativity of cation affected millitization of halloysite, a main constituent mineral of kaolin.

알루미늄 Droplets 합체거동에 미치는 Salt Flux 및 합금원소 첨가의 영향 (Effects of Salt Flux and Alloying Elements on the Coalescence Behaviour of Aluminum Droplets)

  • The remelting for recycling or thin aluminum scrap, such as aluminum chip generally involves melting of these pieces submerged in molten salt flux. In this study, the effects of salt flux compositions and alloying elements on the aluminum dropletscoalescence and oxide film removal were studied in 99.8%Al, Al-1.01%Cu, Al-1.03%Si, and Al-1.38%Mg alloys as a function of holding time at $740^{\circ}C$ Salt fluxes based on NaCl-KCl(1:1) with addition of 5wt.% fluorides(NaF, $Na_3AlF_6$, $CaF_2$) or 5 wt.% chloride($MgCl_2$, $AlCl_3$) were used. The experimental results show that NaCl-KCl(1:1) with addition of 5 wt.% fluorides exhibits better coalescence ability than that with chlorides. The oxide film is not removed by NaCl-KCl(1:1) with addition of 5 wt.%chlorides, while it is removed by NaCl-KCl(1:1) with addition of 5 wt.% fluorides. The aluminum droplets coalescence and oxide film removal by salt fluxes are related to interfacial tension tension between metal and salt flux.
