Sol-Gel 방법을 이용하여 제작된 Pt이 첨가된 Fe2O3 나노 입자의 가스 감지 특성 (Gas Sensing Properties of Pt Doped Fe2O3 Nanoparticles Fabricated by Sol-Gel Method)

  • $Fe_2O_3$ is one of the most important metal oxides for gas sensing applications because of its low cost and high stability. It is well-known that the shape, size, and phase of $Fe_2O_3$ have a significant influence on its sensing properties. Many reports are available in the literature on the use of $Fe_2O_3$-based sensors for detecting gases, such as $NO_2$, $NH_3$, $H_2S$, $H_2$, and CO. In this paper, we investigated the gas-sensing performance of a Pt-doped ${\varepsilon}$-phase $Fe_2O_3$ gas sensor. Pt-doped $Fe_2O_3$ nanoparticles were synthesized by a Sol-Gel method. Platinum, known as a catalytic material, was used for improving gas-sensing performance in this research. The gas-response measurement at $300^{\circ}C$ showed that $Fe_2O_3$ gas sensors doped with 3%Pt are selective for $NO_2$ gas and exhibita maximum response of 21.23%. The gas-sensing properties proved that $Fe_2O_3$ could be used as a gas sensor for nitrogen dioxide.

결정질 실리콘 태양전지용 SiNx:H 박막 특성의 최적화 연구 (A Study on the Optimization of the SiNx:H Film for Crystalline Silicon Sloar Cells)

  • 수소화된 실리콘 질화막은 결정질 태양전지 산업에서 반사방지막과 패시베이션 층으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 또한, 수소화된 질화막은 금속 소성공정과 같은 높은 공정온도를 거친 후에도 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 표면층으로서 충족되는 특성들이 변하지 않고 유지 되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 Plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition 장치를 이용한 수소화된 실리콘 질화막의 특성 변화에 대한 경향성을 알아보기 위하여 증착조건의 변수(온도, 증착거리, 무선주파수 전력, 가스비율 등)들을 다양하게 가변하여 증착조건의 최적화를 찾았다. 이후 수소화된 실리콘 질화막의 전구체가 되는 사일렌($SiH_4$)과 암모니아 ($NH_3$) 가스비를 변화시켜가며 결정질 실리콘 태양전지에 사용되기 위한 박막의 광학 전기 화학적 그리고 표면 패시베이션 특성들을 분석하였다. 가스 비율에 따른 수소화된 실리콘 질화막의 굴절율 범위는 1.90~2.20까지 나타내었다. 결정질 실리콘 태양전지에 사용하기 위한 가장 적합한 특성은 3.6 ($NH_3/SiH_4$)의 가스비율을 나타내었다. 이를 통하여 $156{\times}156mm$ 대면적 결정질 실리콘 태양전지를 제작하여 17.2 %의 변환 효율을 나타내었다.

유산균의 급여가 육계의 성장능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Supplemental Lactobacillus on Broiler Performance)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding various Lactobacillus on performance, nutrients digestibility, intestinal microflora, and fecal noxious gas of broiler chicks. One thousand eighty one dat old male broiler chicks were fed into Lactobacillus crispatus avibrd 1(LCB), Lactobacillus reuteri avibro 2(LRB), Lactobacillus crispatus avihen 1(LCH), and Lactobacillus vaginalis avehen 2(LVH) at the level of $10^{4}$ and 10(sup)7cfu/g diet. There were four replicates with thirty chicks per pen. Diets contained ME 3,100, 3,100kcal/kg, and CP 22.0, 20.0% for starting and finishing period, respectively. Weight gain of checks fed Lactobacillus spp. tended to increase from the first week and was higher from 50 to 100g in Lactobacillus treatments than control. Feed intake and feed conversion were not statistically different of all treatments. Dry Matter(DM) digestibility of Lactobacillus treatments was tended to improve compared to that of control, but was not significantly different. Protein and Ca digestibility were also tended to improve in Lactobacillus treatments relative that of control. Lactobacillus treatments showed improved tendency in crude ash and fat compared to those of control, whereas phosphorus digestibility was not consistency. Nutrients digestibilities of bird fed LCH were superior to those of other treatments. It showed significantly higher in Ca and P digestibility than control(P〈0.05). Total Lactobacillus spp. of birds fed various lactobacillus was significantly higher in ileum for five weeks(P〈0.05), but was not different at cecum. Yeast was thought to be not completely attached to intestinal lumen for one week. However, total number of yeast was significantly increased in cecum and ileum from three weeks old chicks(P〈0.05). The number of anaerobes exhibited to tendency the increase in Lantobacillus treatments from one week old of age at both ileum and cecum. Moisture contents of birds fed Lactobacillus spp. was shown from 27 to 30% at five weeks old, whereas it was 38.2% in control. It decreased approximately 25% in Lactobacillus treatments relative to that of control and showed significance between them(P〈0.05). Fecal $NH_{3}$ gas emission was significantly decreased in Lactobacillus treatments and maintained $\frac{1}{3}$to $\frac{1}{2}$ of control(P〈0.05). LCH and LVH treatments were most effective to decrease fecal $NH_{3}$ gas and especiallt impreved ti significantly at the level of the level of 10(sup)7cfu/g diets covpared to that of $10^{4}$ cfu/g diets and control(P〈0.05). In conclusion, feeding Lactobacillus spp. increase performance and nutrients digestibilities of broiler chicks and improve environments of house. Proper supplemental level of Lactobacillus spp. is considered more than $10^{4}$ cfu/g diet.

산화붕소의 소듐아미드로부터 육방정 질화붕소의 합성 (Preparation of Hexagonal Boron Nitride from Boron Oxide and Sodium Amide)

  • Hexagonal boron nitride was synthesized from boron oxide and sodium amide in ammonia gas stream. The reaction mechanisms and characteristics of as synthesized boron nitride was investigated by means of TG, DTA, IR, XRD, SEM and PSA. The results are ; 1) hexagonal boron nitride was synthesized from reactions at temperatures above 40$0^{\circ}C$ 2) Sodium metaborate was present as by-product after reaction so that the reaction mechanism is reduced as follows : 2B2O3+3NaNH2longrightarrowBN+3NaBO2+2NH3. 3) boron nitride obtained at the reaction temperature below 40$0^{\circ}C$ is found to have random layer strudcture but the structure transits to ordered layer structure rapidly with increasing reaction temperature, showing separation of (101) differaction line from (10)band in XRD pattern of the reaction product at 50$0^{\circ}C$.

  • N-도핑된 3C-SiC (N-SiC(3C))을 화학기상증착(CVD)으로 $1250^{\circ}C$에서 Si(111) 기판 위에 tetramethylsilane(TMS)를 열분해하여 성장하였다. 수송가스는 $H_{2}$이었고, N-SiC(3C) 에피층은 CVD로 성장되는 동안 $NH_{3}$에 의하여 n-형으로 도핑되었다. N-SiC(3C)의 물리적 특성은 적외선 분광(FTIR), X-선 회절(XRD), 라만 스펙트럼(Raman spectrum), 단면 투과전자영상(XTEM), Hall 측정 및 p/n 다이오드의 전압-진압(I-V) 특성에 의하여 조사되었다. N-도핑된 SiC(3C) 에피층의 전도형은 n-형이었고, 전도형은 $NH_{3}$를 사용한 N-dopant에 의하여 저온에서 잘 조절될 수 있다.

SNCR Application to Diesel Engine DeNOx under Combustion-driven Flow Reactor Conditions

  • Diesel DeNOx experiments using the SNCR process were performed by directly injecting NH3 into a simulated engine cylinder (966 $cm^3$) for which a diesel fuelled combustion-driven flow reactor was designed by simulating diesel engine geometry, temperature profiles, aerodynamics and combustion products. A wide range of air/fuel mixtures (A/F=20~45) were combusted for oxidizing diesel flue gas conditions where an initial NOx levels were 250~900 ppm and molar ratios (${\beta}=NH_3/NOx$) ranged from 0.5~2.0 for NOx reduction tests. Effective NOx reduction occurred over a temperature range of 1100~1350 K at cylinder injections where about 34% NOx reduction was achieved with ${\beta}$=1.5 and cylinder cooling at optimum flow conditions. The effects of simulated engine cylinder and exhaust parts, initial NOx levels, molar ratios and engine speeds on NOx reduction potential are discussed following temperature gradients and diesel engine environments. A staged injection by $NH_3$ and diesel fuel additive is tested for further NOx reduction, and more discussed for practical implication.

NH3 Sensing Properties of SnO Thin Film Deposited by RF Magnetron Sputtering

  • SnO thin films, 100 nm in thickness, were deposited on glass substrates by RF magnetron sputtering. A stack structure of $SnO_2/SnO$, where few nanometers of $SnO_2$ were determined on the SnO thin film by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In addition, XPS depth profile analysis of the pristine and heat treated thin films were introduced. The electrical behavior of the as-sputtered films during the annealing was recorded to investigate the working conditions for the SnO sensor. Subsequently, The NH3 sensing properties of the SnO sensor at operating temperature of $50-200^{\circ}C$ were examined, in which the p-type semiconducting sensing properties of the thin film were noted. The sensor shows good sensitivity and repeatability to $NH_3$ vapor. The sensor properties toward several gases like $H_2S$, $CH_4$ and $C_3H_8$ were also introduced. Finally, a sensing mechanism was proposed and discussed.

  • A fuzzy ARTMAP neural network and a fuzzy ART neural network are proposed to identify $H_2S$, $NH_3$ and their mixtures and to estimate their concentrations, respectively. Features are extracted from a micro gas sensor array operated in a thermal modulation plan. After dimensions of the features are reduced by a preprocessing scheme, the features are fed into the proposed fuzzy neural networks. By computer simulations, the proposed methods are shown to be fast in learning and accurate in concentration estimating. The results are compared with other methods and discussed.

SiNx의 Substrate temperature와 gas ratio의 변화에 따른 특성

  • Flexible display의 발전에 따라 점차 고온 공정에서 plastic 기판에 영향을 주지 않는 저온 공정으로 변화해 가고 있다. 이러한 발전에 따라 공정온도에 따른 SiNx의 특성 분석을 위해 우선 150C~300C에서 SiNx의 박막을 증착하였다. gas ratio (SiH4:NH3=4:60)와 Power (50W), 공정시간(25min)을 고정하고 온도만을 가변하여 박막의 특성을 분석하였다. 이후에 150C로 온도를 고정 후 gas ratio를 가변하고 Power (40W)와 온도(150C)는 고정 후 실험을 진행하여, 150C에서 최적화된 gas ratio를 알아내도록 하였다. 위의 실험은 p-type 실리콘 웨이퍼 위에 SiNx 박막 증착 후 굴절률과 증착률을 측정하였고, Al 전극을 증착하여 MIS구조를 구현하여, gate voltage에 따른 capacitance를 측정하였다. 이번 논문에서는 SiNx의 Substrate temperature와 gas ratio의 변화에 따른 다양한 특성을 확인하고 이를 체계적으로 분석하였다.
