Investigation of Characterization and Fabrication High-Temperature Superconducting Multiplexer by Pulse laser Deposition (레이저 공정을 이용한 고온초전도 멀티플렉서의 제작과 특성 분석)

  • To fabricate superconducting multiplexers with narrow pass band characteristics and reduce the physical size of device, we have designed multiplexer using hair-pin type filters with the center frequency of 13.6 GHz. Multiplexers have been fabricated superconductor(HTS), because It has low surface resistance. The $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$(YBCO) films were deposited on MgO substrates$(20{\times}20{\times}0.5mm^3)$ by using pulsed laser deposition and conventional photo-lithographic methods were used to pattern the multiplexer. Epitaxial YBCO films were grown on(100) MgO substrates and showed strongly c_axis orientations observed by X-ray diffraction technique. Superconducting transition temperatures were measured to be about 89K. Simulated results of superconducting multiplexer consisting of hair-pin type filters show the insertion loss of about 1.2dB. The measured frequency response will be compared with the simulated results.

Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d Thin Films Grown on (100) MgO Substrate by Metallorganic Decomposition Method (MOD 방법을 이용한 Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d 박막제작)

  • High $T_{c}$ superconducting B $i_2$S $r_2$CaC $u_2$ $O_{8+d}$ (BSCCO2212) films were prepared by a metallorganic decomposition (MOD) method. The metal organic solution of BSCCO2212 was spin-coated on MgO (100) substrates at 3000 rpm for 1 min. To achieve a high critical current density, we controlled heat-treatment conditions and atmosphere. The films were annealed at temperature 75$0^{\circ}C$ ∼ 80$0^{\circ}C$ in $O_2$ or air. We obtained c-axis orientated BSCCO thin films on MgO substrates. The annealed sample at 77$0^{\circ}C$ with $O_2$ showed the critical temperature about 77 K and critical current denstity of 1.19 ${\times}$ 10$^{5}$ A/$\textrm{cm}^2$ about 13 K.

Microwave Properties of Tunable Phase Shifter Using High Temperature Superconducting Thin Film (고온초전도 박막을 이용한 튜너블 이상기의 마이크로파 특성)

  • High temperature superconductor, $\YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x}$ (YBCO) and ferroelectric, $\Ba_{0.1}Sr_{0.9}TiO_{3}$ (BST) multilayer thin films were deposited using on MgO(100) substrates pulsed laser deposition. The thin films exhibited only (001) peaks of YBCO and 1357 The HTS thin films demonstrated excellent zero resistance temperature of 92.5 K. We designed and fabricated HTS ferroelectric phase shifter using high frequency system simulator and standard photolithography method, respectively The HTS phase shifter shows a low insertion loss (2.97 dB) and large phase change ($\162^{circ}$) with 40 V do bias at 10 GHz. The HTS phase shifter shows 54 of figure of merit. These results can be applicable to phased anay antenna system for satellite communication services.

Anisotropic superconductivity of high quality FeSe1-x Single crystal

  • We investigate the upper critical field anisotropy ${\Gamma}_H$ and the magnetic penetration depth anisotropy ${\Gamma}_{\lambda}$ of a high-quality $FeSe_{1-x}$ single crystal using angular dependent resistivity and torque magnetometry up to 14 T. High quality single crystals of $FeSe_{1-x}$ were successfully grown using $KCl-AlCl_3$ flux method, which shows a sharp superconducting transition at $T_C{\sim}9K$ and a high residual resistivity ratio of ~ 25. We found that the anisotropy ${\Gamma}_H$ near $T_C$ is a factor of two larger than found in the poor-quality crystals, indicating anisotropic 3D superconductivity of $FeSe_{1-x}$. Similar to the 1111-type Fe pnictides, the anisotropies ${\Gamma}_{\lambda}$ and ${\Gamma}_H$ show distinct temperature dependence; ${\Gamma}_H$ decreases but ${\Gamma}_{\lambda}$ increases with lowering temperature. These behaviors can be attributed to multi-band superconductivity, but different from the case of $MgB_2$. Our findings suggest that the opposite temperature dependence of ${\Gamma}_{\lambda}$ and ${\Gamma}_H$ is the common properties of Fe-based superconductors.
