  • 유기용매$(CH_2Cl_2,\;C_6H_6,\;CH_3NO_2,\;(CH_3)_2CO,\;CHCl_3,\;DMF,\;DMSO)$에서 Zn(II)-, Cu(II)- 및 Ni(II)-tetrakis(o-chlorophenyl)porphyrin(o-ClTPP)과 Zn(II)-, Cu(II)- 및 Ni(II)-tetraphenylporphyrin(TPP) 착물과 질소원자를 포함한 염기성 리간드(pyridine, imidazole, 1-methylimidazole 및 2,6-lutidine)간의 결합 반응성을 이온강도 0.01M에서 연구하였다. metalloporphyrin과 염기성 리간드간의 평형상수는 온도범위 15 ~ 35${\circ}C$에서 분광광도법을 이용하여 결정하였으며, 이 때 M(II)-TPP에서 관찰된 평형상수는 입체적 장애가 더 큰 M(II)-(o-Cl)TPP에서 보다 큰 값을 나타내었다. M(II)-TPP에서 logK값은 염기성 리간드의 pKa값이 커질수록 증가하였지만 입체적장애를 받는 M(II)-(o-Cl)TPP에서 logK는 리간드의 $pK_a$값에 비례하지 않았다. 열역학적 파라미터 분석결과 M(o-Cl)TPP의 안정도는 거의 반응엔트로피에 의존하였으나, M(II)-TPPL의 안정도는 반응엔탈피와 반응엔트로피에 거의 비슷한 영향을 나타내었다. metalloporphyrin에 대한 용매의 배위능을 DMF, DMSO, $CHCl_3,\;(CH_3)_2CO$에서 측정하였고, 이들 결과로부터 평형상수에 대한 용매효과를 논의하였다.

  • Chemical vapor deposition of ATO from SnCl4-SbCl5-H2O gas mixture was investigated with thermodynamic and experimental analyses. Electrical conductivity of the ATO film was much improved under deposition conditions of low input-gas ratio, Psbcl5/Psbcl4. This increase of the conductivity was attributed to donor electrons produced mainly by the pentavalent Sb ions in SnO2 lattice. However high input-gas ratio conditions produced an ATO film consisting of a mixture of SnO2 and very fine Sb2O5 phase. It was found that the deterioration of electrical conductivity and optical transmission of the film was caused by the deposition of fine Sb2O5 phase in the SnO2 matrix.

  • 3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane(1NS) 또는 N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediamine(2NS)으로 표면 기능화된 실리카에 1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium chloride(Cl)와 tributylmethylammonium chloride(Amm), benzyldimethyltetradecylammonium chloride(Ben), 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium chloride(Pyr)와 같은 이온성 액체를 이용하여 표면처리한 후 메탈로센 촉매를 담지하여 에틸렌 중합을 실시하였다. $SiO_2/1NS/IL/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$ 촉매와 $SiO_2/2NS/IL/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$ 촉매의 Zr 함량은 아미노실란 화합물로만 표면 처리된 촉매보다 감소하였다. $SiO_2/1NS/IL/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$ 촉매의 중합 활성은 $SiO_2/1NS/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$ 촉매보다 증가하였다. 반면, $SiO_2/2NS/IL/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$은 Zr 함량의 감소로 중합 활성은 $SiO_2/2NS/(n-BuCp)_2ZrCl_2$ 촉매에 비해 감소하였다.

  • The aminolysis of diphenyl thiophosphinic chloride (2) with substituted anilines in acetonitrile at 55.0 oC is investigated kinetically. Kinetic results yield large Hammett ρX (ρnuc = ?3.97) and Bronsted βX (βnuc = 1.40) values. A concerted mechanism involving a partial frontside nucleophilic attack through a hydrogen-bonded, four-center type transition state is proposed on the basis of the primary normal kinetic isotope effects (kH/kD = 1.0-1.1) with deuterated aniline (XC6H4ND2) nucleophiles. The natural bond order charges on P and the degrees of distortion of 42 compounds: chlorophosphates [(R1O)(R2O)P(=O)Cl], chlorothiophosphates [(R1O)(R2O)P(=S)Cl], phosphonochloridates [(R1O)R2P(=O)Cl], phosphonochlorothioates [(R1O)R2P(=S)Cl], chlorophosphinates [R1R2P(=O)Cl], and chlorothiophosphinates [R1R2P(=S)Cl] are calculated at the B3LYP/ 6-311+G(d,p) level in the gas phase.

  • In this study, $CeO_2$thin films were etched with an addition of $Cl_2$gas to $Ar/CF_4$gas mixing in an inductively coupled plasma(ICP) etcher. The surface reactions of the etched $_CeO2$thin films were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). It was analyzed that Ce peaks were mainly observed in Ce-O bonds formed $CeO_2$or $CeO_3$compounds. Cl peaks were detected by the peaks of Cl $2p_{3/2}$ and Cl $2p_{1/2}$. Almost all of Cl atoms were combined with Ce atoms like $CeCl_{x}$ compounds.

Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) of ZrO2 in Ultrahigh Vacuum (UHV)

  • The atomic layer deposition (ALD) of $ZrO_2$ was conducted in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) conditions. The surface was exposed to $ZrCl_4$ and $H_2O$ in sequence and the surface species produced after each step were identified in situ with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). $ZrCl_4$ is molecularly adsorbed at 140 K on the $SiO_2$/Si(111) surface covered with OH groups. When the surface is heated to 300 K, $ZrCl_4$ loses two Cl atoms to produce $ZrCl_2$ species. Remaining Cl atoms of $ZrCl_2$ species can be completely removed by exposing the surface to $H_2O$ at 300 K followed by heating to 600 K. The layer-by-layer deposition of $ZrO_2$ was successfully accomplished by repeated cycles of $ZrCl_4$ dosing and $H_2O$ treatment.

Aqueous Chlorine Dioxide Treatment Improves the Shelf Life of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer

  • Effect of aqueous chlorine dioxide $(ClO_2)$ treatment on the quality change of fresh ginseng during storage was examined. Fresh ginseng samples were treated with 0, 50, and 100 ppm of $ClO_2$ solution, respectively, and stored at $4^{\circ}C$. Microbiological data of the fresh ginseng after $ClO_2$ treatment revealed that the populations of total aerobic bacteria, and yeast and mold were significantly reduced with the increase of $ClO_2$ concentration. In particular, the populations of total aerobic bacteria, and yeast and mold in the fresh ginseng decreased by 2.1 and 1.2 log CFU/g at 100 ppm $ClO_2$ treatment, respectively. Aqueous $ClO_2$ treatment improved the color of the fresh ginseng during storage, but there was no significant difference in weight loss during storage among treatments. Sensory evaluation results represented that the qualities of the fresh ginseng treated with aqueous $ClO_2$ during storage were better than those of the control. These results clearly indicate that aqueous $ClO_2$ treatment could be useful in decreasing the microbial growth and extending the shelf life of fresh ginseng.

  • 메틸클로로휘메이트, $CH_3O$(CO)Cl와 메틸티오노클로로휘메이트, $CH_3O$(CS)Cl 및 메틸티올클로로휘메이트, $CH_3S$(CO)Cl의 가용매분해반응속도상수를 아세톤-물 및 아세토니트릴-물혼합용매중에서 전기전도도법으로 측정했으며 활성화파라미터, ${\Delta}H^{\neq}$${\Delta}S^{\neq}$를 구하였다. 그 결과로 물함량이 큰 영역에서는 속도순위가 $$CH_3O(CO)Cl 이며, 한편 dipolar aprotic solvent가 큰 부분에서는 속도의 순위가 거꾸로 임을 알았다. log k대 solvent parameter인 Y, $\frac{D-1}{2D+1}$ 와 log($H_2$) 의 plots는 물함량이 큰 부분에서 $S_N1$ 성격이 증가함을 보여준다. 물함량이 큰 영역에서 $CH_3O$(CO)Cl은 $S_N2$$CH_3O$(CS)Cl은 중간정도의 메카니즘으로 반응하나 $CH_3S$(CO)Cl은 $S_N1$ 메카니즘으로 반응함을 알았다.
