ZnS:Mn/Cu,Cl계 나노 형광체 EL의 발광 특성 연구

  • ZnS:Mn/Cu,Cl 계 나노 형광체의 특성을 살펴보았다. 실험에서는 ZnS:Mn 과 ZnS:Cu,Cl 형광체 파우더를 이용하여 밀링을 통하여 분쇄하여 EL 소자를 제작하였다. 형광체 파우더를 볼밀에 $\Phi5mm$의 지르코나이 볼과 에탄올과 함께 넣고 2, 4, 6, 8, 10일간 밀링을 하였다. 밀링한 형광체 파우더를 SEM을 통하여 파우더의 사이즈를 관찰하였다. 또 이 파우더를 이용하여 EL 소자를 제작하였다. 소자의 구조는 기판은 알루미나 기판을, 하부 전극은 Au, 유전체는 $BaTiO_3$ 유전체 페이스트를 사용하였으며, 형광체 적층 후 ITO 전극을 스퍼터를 이용하여 증착하여 제작하였다. 제작한 소자를 이용하여 소자의 휘도 등 발광 특성을 살펴보았다.

Dielectric Properties of BSCT Ceramics for Phase Array Antenna (위상차 배열 안테나용 BSCT 세라믹스의 유전특성)

  • (Ba$\sub$0.6-x/Sr$\sub$0.4/Ca$\sub$x/)TiO$_3$(x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) specimens were fabricated by the solid state reaction method and then the structural and dielectric properties as a function of the composition ratio and sintering temperature were studied. The BSCT(50/40/10) specimen sintered at 1500$^{\circ}C$ showed the highest average grain size(18.25 ${\mu}$m). The Curie temperature and dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing Ca content. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen, sintered at 1450$^{\circ}C$, were about 4324 and 0.972% at 1KHz, respectively. Dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing an applied field, tunability of the BSCT(50/40/10) sintered at 1300$^{\circ}C$ was 18%.

  • Piezoelectric BaTiO$_3$-polymer composite were investigated for dielectric and piezoelectric properties with the barium titanate active particle size. Under the condition of the same density and ceramic volume ratio of composite, the dielectric and piezoelectric constant of composite are increasing as the ceramic particle size in composite are increasing. The surface layer model was quoted to explain these phenomena in our system and experimentally confirmed. The connectivity parameter of modified cube model of composite was calculated from the dielectric constant variation as their particle size. The connectivity parameter X and Y were 77.8% and 98.9% respectively. It means that the barium titanate particle distribution in composite nearly approach to the parallel mode. It was experimentally confirmed that the surface layer has low dielectric and nonferroelectric properties. Dielectric constant and thickness of surface layer were calculated from the equivalent circuit of composite.

  • 최근에 위성용 필터로서 유전체 공진기 내장 도파관 필터가 많이 연구되고 있다. 이 필터의 튜닝을 위하여 튜닝 스크류가 일반적으로 사용되어져 왔는데 튜닝 스크류의 사용은 복잡한 필터의 튜닝 시 너무 소모적인 작업을 야기시키고 미세한 튜닝에 어려움이 있어서 다른 해결책을 필요로 한다. 또한 제품의 사용 시에는 온도등의 외부환경의 변화에 대하여 대처를 하기 위하여 전기적인 튜닝을 이용한 튜닝의 자동화에 대한 필요성이 대두되었다. 이에 대한 해결책으로 BST($Ba_xSr_{1-x}TiO_3$)라는 강유전체를 이용하는 튜닝에 대하여 소개하고 한 경우에 대하여 FDTD 방시의 EM 시뮬레이션을 구하여 그 결과로서 전기저인 필터 튜닝의 가능성을 보여준다.

A Study on Dot-Matrix Display using Powder Electroluminescent Device with High Brightness (고휘도 후막 전계발광소자을 이용한 Dot-Matrix Display에 대한 연구)

  • In this study,$ 5{\times}5$ dot-matrix display was implemented with powder electroluminescent device (PELD). Generally PELD which have a luminance from powder phosphor with electric field, inserted phosphor and dielectric layer between electrodes is basic structure. To make high brightness PELD compared to conventional device, new type of PELD was proposed as follows. New PELD had only one layer, which was mixed phosphor (ZnS:Cu) and dielectric (BaTiO3) material appropriately between electrodes. To compare and estimate the conventional and new type of PELD, the EL spectrum, transferred charge density, brightness and decay time was measured. As above result, we fabricated a hish brightness $ 5{\times}5$ dot-matrix display with new type of PELD. Its brightness was 6400 $cd/m^2$ at 200 V, 400Hz.

  • The EL lamp have been fabricated by screen printing method. the thickness of BaTiO$_3$ dielectric layer and ZnS:Cu phosphor layer was 20 $\mu$m and 40 $\mu$m, respectively. The threshold voltage of green El lamp was 50 $V_{p-p}$ and the maximum brightness was 13.5 $\mu$ W/cm$^2$ at frequency of 700 Hz and the input voltage of 250 $V_{p-p}$. Also when the Rodamin G6 of 0.02 g was doped, the threshold voltage of white EL lamp was 70 $V_{p-p}$ and the maximum brightness was 34 $\mu$W/cm$^2$.

  • 전력선 통신 시스템을 간략히 살펴보면 송전단과 수전단으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 송전단은 전력을 송전하기 위한 설비와 신호를 싣고 분리하는 결합회로로 구성되며 수전단은 수전설비와 결합회로로 분리된다. 결합회로는 $BaTiO_3$를 주성분으로 하는 고유전율 및 대용량의 캐패시터로 구성되었다. 이 캐패시터를 변압기 외부에 사용하므로, 직사광선에 의한 온도 변화가 생길 것이며 이 변화에 따라 캐패시턴스 값의 변화가 생길 것이므로 HPF로 사용할 때 캐패시턴스 값의 변화로 주파수에 영향을 줄 것이다. 주위온도에 따른 캐패시턴스의 변화가 HPF의 동작에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 고찰하고자한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수전단의 10KV이하 배전 선로에 사용되는 Coupling Capacitor의 외부온도를 변화시켜 전기적 특성의 변화를 고찰함으로서, HPF로서의 사용될수 있는지 확인하고자 한다.

Characterization of Ferroelectric Thin Film in Microwave Region (마이크로파대에서의 강유전 박막 유전 특성 평가)

  • In this study, ferroelectric (Ba,Sr)TiO$_3$ and high temperature superconductor YBCO thin films were fabricated by PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition) method and tuneable bandstop filters were implemented with two different IDC(Interdigital Capacitance) gap patterns, 20${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 30${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ using these two thin film layers. The resonant frequency was changed by DC bias voltage. By comparing measured results with simulation, the dielectric properties of ferroelectric thin film have been extracted. The permittivity was 820 ~ 900 at 30 K and had an acceptable error range but the loss tangent had a great difference, 0.018 in 30${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ IDC gap pattern and 0.037 in 20 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

Aluminum Coating on A12O3 Powders in Fluidized Bed Reactor at Atmospheric Pressure (유동반응관을 이용한 상압에서의 알루미나 분말의 알루미늄 증착)

  • Aluminum was deposited on aluminum oxide powders using a fluidized bed reactor at atmospheric pressure. The aluminum oxide powders were irregular flakes with acute angles and the average particle size was 26 $\mu\textrm{m}$. The fluidized bed was formed by flowing argon gas at the velocity of 60 cm/sec. The optimal fluidization condition was obtained with the reactor designed to be tapered so that the fluid velocity decreases as the fluidizing gas goes up along the reactor. Aluminum was deposited by flowing TiBA(Triisobutylaluminum) evaporated at$250^{\circ}C$ through the fluidized bed reactor heated to 350~$450^{\circ}C$. The result from the analysis by XRD and EDAX confirmed the coating of aluminum and an SEM micrograph showed the conformality.
