  • The relationship between structure and contractile activity was studied on the three neuropeptide $\gamma$ (mammalian-, bowfin-, shark-NP$\gamma$) that were synthesized by the solid-phase method. Circular dichroism spectra showed that mammalian-, bowfin- and shark-neuropeptide $\gamma$ took an unordered structure in buffer solution and artificial liposome. The intestinal motility response was investigated with guinea-pig ileum, rat duodenum and carp intestine. In case of carp intestine, contractile activity was as follows; bowfin-NP$\gamma$> shark-NP$\gamma$>mammalian-NP$\gamma$, On the other hand, the contractile activity of mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$ was more potent than those of bowfin-, shark-neuropeptide $\gamma$ in the guinea-pig ileum and rat duodenum. These results suggest that NP$\gamma$ show the species-specific activity.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notions of fuzzy ${\gamma}$-peropen (${\gamma}$-perclosed) sets and fuzzy ${\gamma}$-percontinuous (${\gamma}$-peropen, ${\gamma}$-perclosed) maps, and investigate some of their properties.

  • Gamma curve is one of the most important optical performance characteristics of a liquid crystal display. we present investigations on the relationship between gamma and polarizer. The gamma curve is affected by the angle of the polarizer absorption axis. When the crossed angle between the two polarizers turns larger, gamma values will decrease. The gamma variation caused from each polarizer variation could be improved by monitoring and controlling the axial direction of the polarizers.

  • The relationship between structure and biological activity was studied on the three neuropeptides (mammalian, trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$) that were syntheized by the solid-phase method. Circular dichroism spectra showed that mammalian, trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ adopted an unordered structure in buffer solution. In the-presence of neutral and acidic liposomes, mammalian and trout-neuropeptioe $\gamma$ also took a random structure. However, goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ took an $\alpha-helical$ structure in acidic liposomes. The intestinal motility response was investigated with carp intestines, guinea-pig ileums and rat duodenums. In case of carp intestine, contractile activity was as follows : goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma\simeq$ trout-neuropeptide $\gamma>$ mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$, On the other hand, the contractile activity of mammalian-neuropeptide $\gamma$ was more potent than trout- and goldfish-neuropeptide $\gamma$ in the guinea-pig ileums and rat duodenums. These results suggest that neuropeptide $\gamma$ show the species-specific activity.

  • Let ${\gamma}$(G) be the domination number of a graph G. It is shown that for any $k {\ge} 0$ there exists a Cartesian graph bundle $B{\Box}_{\varphi}F$ such that ${\gamma}(B{\Box}_{\varphi}F) ={\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)-2k$. The domination numbers of Cartesian bundles of two cycles are determined exactly when the fibre graph is a triangle or a square. A statement similar to Vizing's conjecture on strong graph bundles is shown not to be true by proving the inequality ${\gamma}(B{\bigotimes}_{\varphi}F){\le}{\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)$ for strong graph bundles. Examples of graphs Band F with ${\gamma}(B{\bigotimes}_{\varphi}F) < {\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)$ are given.

  • Let ${\gamma}{\equiv}{\gamma}^{(2n)}$ denote a sequence of complex numbers ${\gamma}{00},{\gamma}{01},\cdots,{\gamma}0, 2n,...,{\gamma}{2n},0\;with\; {\gamma}{00}\;>\;0,{\gamma}{ji}={{\overline}{\gamma_{ij}}}$,and let K denote a closed subset of the complex plane C. The truncated K complex moment problem entails finding a positive Borel measure $\mu$ such that ${\gamma}{ij}={\int}{{\overline}{z}}^{i}z^{j}d{\mu}\;(0{\leq}\;i+j\;{\leq}\;2n)$ and supp ${\mu}{\subseteq}\;K$. If n=2, then is called the quartic moment problem. In this paper, we give partial solutions for the singular quartic moment problem with rank M(2)=5 and ${{\overline}{Z}}Z{\in}\;<1,Z,{{\overline}{Z}},Z^{2},{{\overline}{Z}}^2>$.

  • In this paper, we will investigate the concept of the torsion-graph of an R-module M, in which the set $T(M)^*$ makes up the vertices of the corresponding torsion graph, ${\Gamma}(M)$, with any two distinct vertices forming an edge if $[x:M][y:M]M=0$. We prove that, if ${\Gamma}(M)$ contains a cycle, then $gr({\Gamma}(M)){\leq}4$ and ${\Gamma}(M)$ has a connected induced subgraph ${\overline{\Gamma}}(M)$ with vertex set $\{m{\in}T(M)^*{\mid}Ann(m)M{\neq}0\}$ and diam$({\overline{\Gamma}}(M)){\leq}3$. Moreover, if M is a multiplication R-module, then ${\overline{\Gamma}}(M)$ is a maximal connected subgraph of ${\Gamma}(M)$. Also ${\overline{\Gamma}}(M)$ and ${\overline{\Gamma}}(S^{-1}M)$ are isomorphic graphs, where $S=R{\backslash}Z(M)$. Furthermore, we show that, if ${\overline{\Gamma}}(M)$ is uniquely complemented, then $S^{-1}M$ is a von Neumann regular module or ${\overline{\Gamma}}(M)$ is a star graph.

  • 2,6-Disubstituted-3-pyridazinones were synthesized by the reactions of $\gamma$,$\gamma$,$\gamma$-trichloroethylidene-m-nitroacetophenone with phenylhydrazine and substituted phenylhydrazines, and hydrazone was isolated as an intermediate from the reaction with 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. From the reaction with hydrazine hydrate 3-(m-nitrophenyl)-5-trichloromethyl-2-pyrazoline was obtained in good yield. The effect of substituents on phenyl group in the reaction of $\gamma$,$\gamma$,$\gamma$-trichloroethylidene-m-nitroacetophenone with substituted phenylhydrazines was also discussed.

  • Cs$\'{a}$sz$\'{a}$r [3] introduced the notions of ${\gamma}$-compact and ${\gamma}$-operation on a topological space. In this paper, we introduce the notions of almost ${\Gamma}$-compact, (${\gamma},{\tau}$)-continuous function and (${\gamma},{\tau}$)-open function defined by ${\gamma}$-operation on a topological space and investigate some properties for such notions.
