To achieve the ideal performances of paint film, resins and hardeners have to be chosen and designed in a proper way depending on the exposure circumstance of substrate and the requested physical properties. Six different kinds of clear paints were made in this experiment using alkyd polyol, polyester polyol, polyester modified acrylic polyol and another 3 acrylic polyol resins whose $T_g$ and OH value were partially modified. Then the tests for chemical, physical, and mechanical properties were measured after forming the paint films using aliphatic and aromatic polyisocyanate. The viscosity and elasticity of paint film were then measured in terms of gel point and $tan{\delta}$ using Rheometer and DMA. Through this viscoelastic characteristic test of polyurethane resin, we were able to choose the adequate resins and hardeners which are the most important in the top and primer painting system of urethane paint and, as a result of observing the physical, mechanical, and chemical properties of paint film by urethane, we have finally reached the conclusion that we could apply the proper polyol to top and primer paint for developing the polyurethane paint system.

Objectives Prenatal testosterone is known to influence both cerebral laterality and 2nd to 4th digit ratio (2D : 4D). Epigenetic changes are thought to play some role in it. We studied sex-related differences between 2D : 4D and cerebral laterality in patients with schizophrenia and controls to examine the effects of prenatal testosterone in the development of schizophrenia. Methods Forty one men (18 schizophrenic patients and 23 controls) and 40 women (17 schizophrenic patients and 23 controls) were recruited from one psychiatric hospital in Korea. The 2D : 4D and electroencephalographic (EEG) coherence in 19 channels (66 pairs of interhemispheric coherence and 54 pairs of intrahemispheric coherence) were measured. The sex-related statistical analyses between 2D : 4D and EEG coherence in controls and patients with schizophrenia were performed using multiple regression. Results In male patients, the relationship between 2D : 4D and right intrahemispheric EEG coherence showed mainly positive correlation in delta and theta frequency bands, while it showed negative correlation in male controls. In female patients, the relationship between 2D : 4D and interhemispheric EEG coherence showed stronger positive correlation in alpha and beta frequency bands, while it showed weaker positive correlation in female controls. Conclusions Low prenatal testosterone may play certain roles in altered correlation between 2D : 4D and cerebral laterality in schizophrenia and the development of schizophrenia by epigenetic mechanism.

Abstract We have fabricated Y-Ba-Cu-O superconducting thin films by in-situ on-axis rf magnetron sputtering method using $Y_1$B$a_2$C${u_4}\;{_2O_x}$ nonstoichiometric target. Reactive ion etching (RIE) method was used in patterning the films. We have investigated the properties of patterned films, and compared the properties of the films before and after patterning. As the line width of the pattern decreases from 5${\mu}$m to 2${\mu}$m, a slight but not significant degradation in superconducting properties of the patterned films is observed. The bridge patterns are found to have clean edges and good electrical properties enough to be applied in device applications. From the result of this research, the possibility of submicron patterning by RlE is confirmed.

The purpose of this study was to observe the demineralization effects of children's range beverage on bovine enamel. 15 bovine teeth without dental caries were divided into 4 experimental groups (n=12) and control group (n=3). All samples immersed in beverages maintained 48 hours by $37^{\circ}C$ in incubate respectively. The surface microhardness values(${\Delta}VHN$) between before and after 48 hours treatment decreased and DIGNOdent value increased because enamel surface were corroded by experimentation beverage. Especially, there was statistical significantly difference in the carbonated drink. Morphological changes by scanning electron microscope were indicated that children's range beverage cause significant enamel demineralization effects on bovine tooth surface among five beverages.

It is not the water veins themselves that are distributed on Earth that are harmful, but the water vein waves generated from the water veins are harmful to human health. The natural frequency of the Earth is 7.83 Hz, but in order to sleep deeply, you must go down to a delta wave of 2 to 3.99 Hz, which is lower than this frequency, to achieve the deepest sleep and maintain your health. However, if you sleep in a place with dowsing waves, the dowsing waves interfere with your brain waves, making it difficult to sleep well, and you may have nightmares. Even when you wake up, your body is not refreshed and your fatigue does not go away, so you feel tired and tired easily. If this phenomenon continues, the body's resistance decreases and immunity weakens, which can eventually cause illness and cause various diseases, which can harm one's health. In other words, the safest and most effective way to deal with water veins is to avoid places with water veins and simply change your sleeping position to a place without water veins, and you can live a healthy and happy life through examples.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of pergola's shading on the thermal comfort index in the summer. The 3 type of pergolas($4m{\times}4m{\times}h2.7m$) which were screened overhead(I)/overhead west(II)/overhead west north(III) plane with reed blind for summer shading and winter wind break, were constructed on the 4th floor rooftop. Thereafter the meteorological variables(air temperature, humidity, radiation, and wind speed) of pergola I, III and rooftop were measured from 14 to 16 August 2013(1st experiment), those of pergola I, II and rooftop were measured from 26 to 28 August 2013(2nd experiment). The effects of pergola's shading on the radiation environment and mean radiant temperature($T_{mrt}$), standard effective temperature($SET^*$) were as follows. The maximum 1 h mean values of differences ${\Delta}$ of the sums of shortwave radiant flux densities absorbed by the human body (${\Delta}K_{abs,max}$) between pergola I, III and nearby sunny rooftop were $-119W/m^2$, $-158W/m^2$, those between pergola I, II and rooftop were $-145W/m^2$, $-159W/m^2$. The maximum 1 h mean values of differences ${\Delta}$ of the sums of long wave radiant flux densities absorbed by the human body (${\Delta}L_{abs,max}$) between pergola I, III and nearby sunny rooftop, were $-15W/m^2$, $-17W/m^2$, those between pergola I, II and nearby rooftop, were $-8W/m^2$, $-7W/m^2$. The response of the direction dependent long wave radiant flux densities $L_1$ on the pergola's shading turned out to be distinctly weaker as compared to shortwave radiant flux densities $K_1$. The pergola's shading leads to a lowering of $T_{mrt}$ and $SET^*$. The peak values of $T_{mrt}$ absorbed by the human body were decreased $16^{\circ}C$ and $21.4^{\circ}C$ under pergola I and III as compared to that of nearby rooftop in the 1st experiment. Those were decreased $18.8^{\circ}C$ and $20.8^{\circ}C$ under pergola I and II as compared to that of nearby rooftop in the 2nd experiment. The peak values of $SET^*$ absorbed by the human body were decreased $2.9^{\circ}C$ and $2.6^{\circ}C$ under pergola I and III as compared to that of nearby rooftop in the 1st experiment. Those were decreased $3.5^{\circ}C$ and $2.6^{\circ}C$ under pergola I and II as compared to that of nearby rooftop in the 2nd experiment. The relative $SET^*$ decrease in pergola II, III compared to nearby sunny rooftop $SET^*$ were lower than that in pergola I, revealing the influence of the wind speed. Therefore it is essential to design pergola to maximize wind speed and minimize solar radiation to achieve comfort in the hot summer. The $SET^*$ under pergola I, III were exceeded $28.7^{\circ}C$ and $30.4^{\circ}C$ which were the upper limit of thermal comfort and tolerable zone during all most daytimes in the 1st experiment(maximum air temperature $37.5^{\circ}C$). The $SET^*$ under pergola I was exceeded $28.7^{\circ}C$ which was the upper limit of thermal comfort zone at 13h, that under pergola II was exceeded $28.7^{\circ}C$ from 8h to 14h, meanwhile the $SET^*$ under pergola I, II were within thermal tolerable zone during most daytimes in the 2nd experiment(maximum air temperature $34.4^{\circ}C$). Therefore to ensure the thermal comfort of pergola for summer hottest days, pergola should be shaded with not only reed blind but also climbing and shade plants. $T_{mrt}$ and $SET^*$ were suitable index for the evaluation of pergola's shading effects and outdoors.

In this paper, a Small-sized and planer resonator design of Magnetic Resonance - Wireless Power Transfer(MR-WPT) were proposed for practical applications of mobile devices, such as a laptop, a smart-phone and a tablet pc. The proposed MR-WPT system were based on four coil MR-WPT and designed as a transmitter part (Tx) and a receiver part (Rx) both are the same shape with the same loop and resonator. There are four different spiral coil type of resonators with variable of line length, width, gap and turns in $50mm{\times}50mm$ size. The both of top and bottom side of substrate(acrylic; ${\varepsilon}_r=2.56$, tan ${\delta}=0.008$) ere used to generate high inductance and capacitance in limited small volume. Loops were designed on the same plane of resonator to reduce their volume, and there are three different size. The proposed MR-WPT system were fabricated with two acrylic substrate plane of Tx and Rx each, the Rx and Tx loops and resonators were fabricated of copper sheets. There are 12 combinations of 3 loops and 4 resonators, each combination were measured to calculate transfer efficiency and resonance frequency in transfer distance from 1cm to 5cm. The measured results, the highest transfer efficiency was about 70%, and average transfer efficiency was 40%, on the resonance frequency was about 6.78 MHz, which is standard band by A4WP. We proposed small-sized and planer resonator of MR-WPT and showed possibility of mobile applications for small devices.

This work studies the synthesis of birnessite (${\delta}-MnO_2$), a catalyst of oxidative-coupling reactions, from the powder of spent alkaline manganese batteries (SABP, <8 mesh) and evaluate its reactivity for 1-naphthol (1-NP) removals. Manganese oxides using commercial reagents ($MnSO_4$, $MnCl_2$) and the acid birnessite (A-Bir) by McKenzie method were also synthesized, and their crystallinity and reactivity for 1-NP were compared with one another. 96% Mn and 98% Zn were extracted from SABP by acid leaching at the condition of solid/liquid (S/L) ratio 1:10 in $1.0M\;H_2SO_4+10.5%\;H_2O_2$ at $60^{\circ}C$. From the acid leaching solution, 69% (at pH 8) and 94.3% (pH>13) of Mn were separated by hydroxide precipitation. Optimal OH/Mn mixing ratio (mol/mol) for the manganese oxide (MO) synthesis by alkaline (NaOH) hydrothermal techniques was 6.0. Under this condition, the best 1-NP removal efficiency was observed and XRD analysis confirmed that the MOs are corresponding to birnessite. Kinetic constants (k, at pH 6) for the 1-NP removals of the birnessites obtained from Mn recovered at pH 8 (${Mn^{2+}}_{(aq)}$) and pH>13 ($Mn(OH)_{2(s)}$) are 0.112 and $0.106min^{-1}$, respectively, which are similar to that from $MnSO_4$ reagent ($0.117min^{-1}$). The results indicated that the birnessite prepared from the SABP as a raw material could be used as an oxidative-coupling catalyst for removals of trace phenolic compounds in soil and water, and propose the recycle scheme of SAB for the birnessite synthesis.
